Chapter 27: What If

I watch the sweat drips off her forehead and she is resting with her arms on her knees. It is clear that she is infected because of the fainting and vomiting. I can not help but feel a little bit nervous and I pray to God that she can get the antidote ready in time.

"Tell me what can I do? How can I make this better for you?"

I feel so helpless and useless at this moment. I wish I can do something to help her feel better.

It feels as if all the energy went out of my body when I threw up in the corner. I feel like an oven overheating. I know that it will not be long before I will not be able to finish the antidote. But I must say that all this, what I am feeling now, does unfortunately not surpass the embarrassment of throwing up before the Captain.
