Chapter 32: Chapter 32 - Improving One Step at a Time
After combat class on the second day, Milo's days seemed to be a repeat of school in the past, other than the absence of bullying and his new classes focused on improving his abilities and combat. After a week had passed, Milo had steadily increased his understanding of the chain sickle, and had even gotten pretty good at using the chain to attack at range, most of the ranged attacks involved wide sweeping attacks but a few involved shooting the chain out straight towards his target as well. He had also made some headway on how to implement his ability into combat using the chain sickle. After improving his understanding of the weapon another tutorial had opened on other uses of the chain sickle but he wanted to perfect his use of the basics before moving any further and trying to learn more advanced techniques. When practicing with the chain sickle, he was considering ways that he could make it his own, while he felt comfortable using it now there was still something missing he felt.
Milo had also improved his stats a bit more through completing his daily quests.

All his stats besides Magic Power and Constitution had reached 20, his cooldown for Plunder was now complete as well which allowed him to use it again. He was happy with his progress but couldn't help but feel bitter that he hadn't leveled up to level five yet.
Due to what had happened in the cafeteria, the bullying around the academy had died down, or at least hid among the shadows of the school, as Milo hadn't had any more opportunities to stop any incidents since defeating the students he fought in the cafeteria, he didn't seem to gain any experience from defeating his classmates in his practical elemental class, his only guess was that this was due to him not knocking them unconscious like he had the bullies he'd fought so far.
He was now on his way to his combat class again, Mikael seemed to have taken a liking to Milo, as he commonly would give Milo tips on his techniques when practicing with the chain sickle. When walking into the hall today, Milo noticed that Mikael was waving the class over rather than letting them get to work on their own.
"Today we will be doing sparring matches with your chosen weapons, you may choose your own opponents. I will referee each match myself and give tips after each match along with this, I would like to get your input on their battles as well, things they did well or things they could improve upon for example. Once you have paired up, we will begin the sparring matches, and remember, this is the weapons hall, not the practical training hall. Abilities are not allowed, and if one is used the student who used it will be punished. I may be old but things like that never go unnoticed to me, so don't bother causing trouble."
