Chapter 52: Not their daughter

Bo Ra kneels down on the floor by the bed hugging her as she cries painfully making Yoo Na cry as well,

"No...one had ever cried for me. " Jin smiles seeing them but the words that escaped her lips had him tear up. "Yah idiot! I do not want to cry ever again... so make me cry now. Tell me everything!" Bo Ra yells out still hugging her tight, both the siblings chuckle at her words.

Jin noticed Yoo Na getting stiff with her questions and he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable so he diverts the tension and attention.

"Yoo Na, you make me cry every day and how come you say no one cried for you?" Jin says playfully while Yoo Na rolls her eyes, "You are my brother so you do not fall under the no one or someone category. " Yoo says while Bo Ra pulls away, wiping her tears and a sheepish smile on her face.

"I like you both... so much. I wish I had someone to look after me. " Bo Ra says with a pout, Yoo Na smiles but a smirk appears on her lips when she saw Jin flushing at her words, "Yeah, Jin why don't you take care of her too?" Yoo Na says wiggling her brows making both of them flustered, "What?!"

"Yah!!" Both Jin and Bo Ra yell at the same time making her winch, she closes her eyes shut and laughs at them, just the room lightens up bright making the other groan squinting their eyes with the sudden brightness and now they noticed the thunders and lightning were no more.

"Um, my eyes..." Bo Ra mumbles rubbing her eyes while Yoo Na groans feeling the bright light affecting her as well, "Let your eyes adjust. " Jin says looking around as he himself was following his words.

"What is the time? I wonder if I disturbed you all from your sleep. " Yoo Na says blinking her eyes, Bo Ra chuckles while Jin scoffs shaking his head, "You sure did disturb but not our sleep but our conversation. " He says making Bo Ra laugh.

"What? But... why weren't you sleeping this late?" She questions with a frown, "It is not that late, idiot. " Bo Ra says mocking her while she frowns pouting in disappointment. " I am not an idiot, you idiot!" Yoo Na grumbles rolling her eyes while the other two laugh.

"Now come on wake up. Auntie has made dinner. You haven't eaten the whole day. " He says giving her his arms for her to hold onto, she pouts, "I don't feel like eating..."

"No, come one. You want then I will accompany you here to the room. What say?" Bo Ra questions anticipating a nod or a simple yes but Yoo Na heaves out a sigh, "If that is then okay. " Jin chuckles nodding his head.

"I will send someone with food. " Jin says standing up on his feet, "Why? Aren't you going to eat with me?" Yoo Na questions while Bo Ra looks up at Jin in silence, Jin looks at Bo Ra then back at Yoo Na who was teasing him, Jin clears his throat throwing her a glare, and says, "No. I will eat downstairs. "

With that Jin walks out of the room, "Are you okay, now? I was so scared seeing you like that..." Bo Ra speaks making her smile fade, Yoo Na blinks her eyes and awkwardly avoids her gaze looking for answers.

"I am sorry... I should be asking anything when you are in no state to talk about it. " Bo Ra says hanging her head low, though she tried to understand her situation and get to know her which she has been trying to, she didn't want to discomfort Yoo Na.

"Uh...Bo Ra-ah, I-I...um..." Yoo Na trails on her word as she felt conflicted, "You don't have to, just know that I want to be by your side because I love you as my friend. I can wait for as long as you feel comfortable. " She says making Yoo Na cry silently.

"Yah, don't cry. " Bo Ra says chuckling to herself while Yoo Na sniffs wiping her tears away.

"You promise you won't leave me if you know about me...?" Yoo Na questions hanging her head low not being able to see the upcoming changes in her friend's face, she was scared to be abandoned again.

"Why would I do that? I would be a bad person then... do you see me as one?" Bo Ra questions faking out an offended and hurt expression, Yoo Na widens her eyes and shakes her head no denying her assumptions.

"No, it's just... um...everyone left me back then... I d-don't know but it might be... me. " Yoo Na says taking in a deep breath and flashing out a tight smile, Bo Ra sighs hugging Yoo Na and patting her back.

"You know what? I was abandoned too... I know how it feels like to be in that state. " Bo Ra says making Yoo Na surprised and bewildered, "What?!" Yoo Na yells in shock and Bo Ra chuckles pulling apart.

"Hmm. You want to know why I choose you to be my friend?" Bo Ra questions tilting her head to the side, Yoo Na frowns with a pout but she hesitantly nods her head. "I-"

The door opens cutting them off with two maids coming in with two trays, they put them on the coffee table by the corner of the room and walk out of the room not minding the two girls who were watching them walk out.

"Um, first let me bring that table. " Bo Ra says standing on her feet and walking towards the coffee table, she pulls it up and walking back towards the bed with Yoo Na throwing the blanket away letting her place the table in between them.

"Okay, so back in the previous school... I was an outcast. I didn't get bullied for the way I am as you see... I fight back but no one wanted to be friends with me and not that I cared. " She says handing Yoo Na a spoon as she slowly grabs it with her eyes fixed on Bo Ra.

"Um..." Bo Ra chuckles seeing Yoo Na at a loss of words, "I then got happy knowing mom and dad had to move here, I changed my style because I didn't want people to mock me. " She says smiling at her while Yoo Na bites her spoon awkwardly.

"The first day, I saw you and I knew you were good by heart and I wanted to help you fight back as I did. I wanted to have a true friend like you are... now. " Yoo Na shyly chuckles feeling happy with the words she received, "And I do not care whatever you faced... I am your friend so I will be with you all way along. "

"But... why did you tell me everything...? You didn't have to, you know?" Yoo Na questions smiling slightly, "I want to know you and I should let you know me first so you can trust me. " Yoo Na felt her breath hitch at her words, trust- something she couldn't do. Someone was asking her to trust her but she was hesitant remembering everything she had gone through.

"Um...okay." Yoo Na says despite her uneasiness, knowing many things about her meant she should at least give her some insight into who she was. She was hesitant but she knew she should, now that Bo Ra opened up to her.

"I am not asking you to tell me now... you can when you are ready-" Yoo Na takes in a deep breath and says in one go cutting Bo Ra in between her words,

"I am not their daughter. "
