Chapter 29: High School DxD Gacha
Ahhh... This shit hurts!' Thats the first thing that I think as I begin to gain some semblance of consciousness through the fog of pain in my poor mind. I have tried to open my eyes but it currently feels like they are being poked by hot needles every time I do so I just lay there, not knowing what to do until the pain finally begins to fade very very slowly.
'What the hell is going on with this! The last thing I remember was.... I don't actually remember anything about myself?! What the fuck, I have seen enough movies and read enough novels to know this shit ain't kosher!' I begin to think, then I realize that yes I actually do remember things about my past life... just not personal things like my name or my parents names or faces... I remember I was in the army at one point, I remember certain aspects of my life, just nothing really personal about myself.
'Damnit! What the hell is...'
SYSTEM ACTIVATED!
I hear this loudly in my mind cutting off all thought.. "a system?? I am going to fucking rule the gods be damned world!!" I basically cackle out loud for all to hear. Thankfully I am alone and nobody is around.
GACHA SYSTEM CHOSEN!
"Gacha?? No! My dreams are crumbling around me! Isn't that the shittiest system that can be given to a beloved reincarnated person??! I have no memories of this being useful in any story I can think of!"
STARTING PACKAGE - SENT TO HOST
Well that's something I suppose, still cursing whatever deity did this to me. Well at least the pain is mostly gone.
As I slowly open my eyes I realize I am in a room that I don't recognize, not overly surprising but it's at least nice to be able to see my surroundings.
After looking around for a few minutes I slowly get up to look for any clues as to where I actually am. The room is at least nice, queen size bed, dresser, large closet, large bathroom and so on, a normal room basically.
Finished with that I begin to search the rest of the house, the only useful things being on the dining room table, a laptop along with a wallet.
The wallet contained the normal things you would find useful in a wallet, an ID which told me my name in this world, which is Alexander Duvall, as well as a few hundred dollars worth of cash. (Going to use dollars for simplicity)The thing about the ID card, it gave my address... and that shit kinda scares me from what I can remember. It seems I live in a town called Kuoh. Yes THAT Kuoh. The reason I am sure of that is because of what I see on the laptop, which is a freaking enrollment form for Kuoh Academy!
It seems I am to be a third year student... fuck me, I do remember going to high school but I also remember it being shit. At least I know the language so I don't go there and look like an idiot too much, though I don't know much about customs, just the basics.
Well I still have a few weeks until the first class so I will have to think of a plan to escape. Either that or get stronger but I have a fucking Gacha system so wtf!
Ohhh it told me I had a starting package, let's see how much silverware I get out of it! But first if this is a system, let's check my stats! "Status!"

"What the actual fuck!? You goddamn useless system! Where the actual fuck are my actual stats??" I raged for a few minutes internally before getting back on track with with what I was already doing.
Now how to open it? If it's cliche it should be... "Inventory?" I say, hoping it was simple after my latest disappointment.

That all pops into my mind when I speak out loud. I mentally click 'yes'
