Chapter 22: New home
After talking shower Lu Ning feel's better and decided to go out for dinner instead of eating dinner in her room.
D city is very famous for two things first stone gambling and second for its food. Various types of dishes are available here
People specifically come here to try the local cuisine. In her previous life she could cherish her life instead she is always worried about useless things.
But now she want to enjoy her life. She wants to be independent and strong. Now the only purpose of her life to live her life freely and to make few people for their evil deeds .
At home, Bo Mian took a hot shower, then ready to read her unfinished novel .
As she was about to take her book , a knock was heard at the door.
She looked at the clock: it was 5:30 PM. At this hour, she was certain the person at her door was Bo Yan .
As expected, when she opened the door, she saw Bo Yan standing on the other side.
He was dressed in a navy blue, custom-made Italian suit. The fact that he hadn't yet changed meant that he had just gotten off work.
"I'm here to pick you up. Let's go.
"I still have a lot of stuff here. Let me bring them with me."
"There's no need. I'll get someone to come and deal with the stuff here. Just bring your essentials. I'll wait for you in the car."
- Ten minutes later -
Bo Mian walked out from her room. In her arms, she held a cardboard box filled with some of her favorite books, along with a pushhy toy .
She had been living here for over a year now. This sudden move made her realize that she was going to miss the place.
However, Bo Yan was right. Now that they were married, it would be a bit improper to continue living separately.
After bidding goodbye to family they drove on. Half an hour later, they arrived at Royale residences , the largest upscale residential area within the First Ring Road district.
Bo Yan's car slowly came to a stop.
Lifting her head, Bo Mian looked around at this luxurious neighborhood.This was a well-known upper-class development site.
The plot was bordered by a mountain and a lake, with a road to its left. As the people here said, this land bore the features of the four great beasts of legend: the green dragon, the white tiger, the vermilion bird, and the black turtle.
Because the area rests by the city's largest natural lake, the Jade Water Lake, and very close to imperial College the property values here remained high.
The buildings were designed to be mini high-rises, and there was ample space between each of the buildings, allowing the sun to shine through.
The buildings were of English-style architecture with dark-red exteriors. Bo Mian quite liked it.
The lobby of the complex was lavishly decorated, like the décor in a five-star hotel. Bo Yan led Bo Mian into the spacious elevator and pressed the button for the sixteenth floor.
Looks like it's the top floor, Bo Mian thought to herself.-
A few seconds later -
The sixteenth floor opened up before them. Bo Mian looked around and realized that there was only one unit on the entire floor.
It seemed like there was the only unit on each floor, as expected from the wealthy.
BO Yan took out a key and opened the door. Bo Mian followed him inside.
Her eyes lit up when she saw what was before her.
It was a spacious, bright two-story unit. The open design made it possible to see both floors from the door. The white European-style furnishings were stately, yet ornate.
We'll make do here for a while. When you graduate , we'll move over the villa ."
"It's alright, I like it here." Bo Mian swallowed before she replied."Everything we need is here. If anything is missing, let me know. I'll have someone get it for us."
"Okay." Bo Mian nodded.
Right then, Bo Yan's cell phone rang.
"Hello. I'll be right over. Yeah, wait for me." Hanging up, Bo Yan looked at Bo Mian. "I have to go back to office . Go ahead and get some rest."
"Okay." Bo Mian nodded again.
As Bo Yan stood up and opened the door to leave, he suddenly seemed to remember something. Doubling back, he took out a key-card and a set of keys and placed them on Bo Mian's palm.
"These are the keys. The ownership certificate is on the coffee table. They're yours to keep."
With that, Bo Yan turned and left.
Holding the keys, Bo Mian was in somewhat of a haze. Just like that, she had moved in with Bo Yan .
She glanced over at the certificate on the coffee table. Possessed, she walked over and pulled it open. As expected, the ownership was under her name.
She was surprised to realize that there were tears in her eyes.Staring at the certificate, Bo Mian was stuck in a haze.
It was almost 7 PM when he arrived.
After parking, Bo Yan discovered that there were a few other cars parked in the lot. There were a Bentley, a Maserati, and a Porsche 888.
And he knows very well whose car it is. As he walked in his cabin bro yan welcome back Mu Feng stood up from couch and smiled cunningly.
What are you doing here Bo Yan asked Mu Feng. Bro yan you hurt my heart you got married and didn't even invite your friends that's wrong.
Mu Feng Bo Yan said irritatedly. OK OK Bro I am here to inform you that the meeting in D city goes well.
Bro Yehan has contacted me and he said that everything is going well. Everything is going according to our plan.
And we are just waiting for our prey to make mistake and we will immediately uproot the entire black organization.
