Phoenix gave Axel a folder full of informations. Axel quickly scanned through the information but then narrowed her eyebrows when seeing the last profile.
"Phoenix there isn't a picture for this one"
"Oh yeah she just applied today and we couldn't take a picture"

The door open showing a shy girl. She walked towards Axel's desk sitting down on the chair in front.
"Tell me something about yourself" Axel said not interested.
"W-Well I can do make-up very well"
'Not useful here' Axel thought

The girl sat there unmoved. "I said out"

The girl stood up exiting the office with sour face

"Okay last one" Axel composed herself. The door open. Axel's eyes was glued on the girl. Blonde-ish brown-ish hair. Blue icy eyes...
"E-Excuse me"
Axel snapped back to reality. "Yes please take a seat"
"So tell me something about you"
"My name is Hazel Autumn and I have one kid"
"How old are you?"
"Um I'm 20"
"Young to have a kid already"

"You have a boyfriend?"
"Yeah I live with him"

Hazel swallowed the lump in her throat, Axel gives this scary vibe her husky voice makes Axel even more scarier.
"Okay your hired"
"A-Already?"
"Yes you start tomorrow"

Hazel bowed and left right away because it seems like Axel doesn't want to be bothered anymore.
Hazel went back home right away to tell Layla and Jade the good news.
"Mama!"
"Did you get it?"
"Yeah I start tomorrow"
"Yes! I'll drive you to the company tomorrow"

"I better get this one to bed"

Jade and Hazel waved a goodbye to Layla she opened the front door. Her heart dropped.
Ethan was on the couch ready to fuck the girl until Hazel opened the door.
"Fucking bitch!"
"S-Sorry—"
"You got a job didn't you?"
"Y-Yes"
"Then where's the money?"
"I start tomorrow p-plus I don't get my paycheck till next month"
"Argh! I want fucking money"
Ethan took his angry in Hazel. He punched and slapped Hazel until she couldn't move.

With all her strength Hazel stood up picking up Jade exiting out of the house again going to Layla's house.
"H-Hazel!"
"Mama..."
"I'm okay... just a bit dizzy"
Layla immediately let Jade and Hazel into her house. Layla tried to lay Jade down but she didn't want worried about Hazel so Layla let Jade go to Hazel who's laying on the couch eyes closed. She grabbed a med-kit and a some ice packs
"Why don't you just call the police about this?"
"You know I can't"
"Look at you Hazel"
"Ouch!"
"Sorry"
Hazel had a cut on her eyebrow now, a cut on her lips. She had a black eye and a very visible bruise on her neck. Her cheeks purple and blue.
"What the fuck is wrong with him! I'll go to the god damn police right now!!"
"No Layla. And please don't swear in front of Jade"
"Sorry. Just look at this! How are you suppose to go to work tomorrow?"
"I'll just try to hide as much as I can"
"Your face Hazel! It's so visible!"
"Layla I'll be fine I'll just wear make up"
"Doesn't that give you a big break out?"
Hazel sighed. "It does..."
"Your lucky that you don't need makeup to look pretty"
Hazel chuckled.
"You look like a fucking goodness even without makeup"

"Hazel..."
"I'll just go to work tomorrow plus I could just say I fell down the stairs two times"
"That's just the most stupid excuse. How could falling down the stairs give a big bruise on the neck?"
"Layla I'll be fine just let me rest right now"
"Alright I'll wake you up when dinner is ready"
"Thanks Layla... thanks for always being here..." Hazel said before falling asleep like Jade.
