Chapter 9: Things are Different
[Alison arrives at school and sees Lucas is waiting outside]
Alison's mind:"Just walk past him."
[Alison tries to walk past Lucas but he stops her]
Lucas:"Why are you so weird?"
Alison's mind:"because he is you and I like you?"
Alison:" No reason."
Lucas:"okay then come on I've been waiting for you."
Alison:"for me?!"
[Alison blushed]
Lucas:"yeah come on I wanna show you to my friends."
[Lucas took Alison's hand]
Lucas:"Come on!"
[they walk over to a group of 2 guys and another girl]
Scott:"who's this?"
Lucas:"Ali17."
[Scott looked shocked]
Scott:"You're the best sniper I've ever heard of in this whole town! it's an honor"
Alison:"Thanks I'm Alison but you all can call me Ali."
Kenna:"it's a pleasure to meet you Alison."
Kenna's mind:"Bitch."
[Alison smiles]
Adam:"cool looks like Kenna got competition."
[Scott and Adam laugh]
[Lucas looks confused]
[Kenna had seemed to know what they were talking about]
[Alison grabbed and tugged the bottom of Lucas's shirt]
Lucas:"What's the matter?"
[Alison looks upset]
Alison:"I'm gonna head into class early. It was lovely meeting all of you I'll leave first bye."
Lucas's mind:"Is she okay?? She looked upset."
Adam:"was it something I said?"
[Lucas punches Adam and Scott]
Kenna:"Who cares? She seems uptight to me."
Scott:"You only think that because you know she's got a thing for Lucas."
[Kenna gets red]
Kenna:"That's not it!!"
Lucas:"A thing..?"
Adam:"yeah you don't see it?"
[Lucas looks confused]
Scott:"She likes you. Idiot!"
Lucas:"....Me?"
[Alison walks in the girls bathroom]
Alison:"Breath Ali...breath"
Alison's mind:"She looked mad at me?? Does she like Lucas to? ugh no that's what they meant by "Competition". ughhh!!!"
[Lucas knocked on the bathroom door]
Lucas:"I didn't see you in class I figured you went in here."
[Alison comes out]
Alison:"How did you know?"
Lucas:" I've known you for four years in game and I also see how you acted in real life."
Alison:"Right..."
Lucas:"can I ask you a question?"
Alison"Umm....Sure"
Lucas:"Do you like me?"
