Chapter 47: Tinge of Annoyance

"What is the noise all about?" Yawning, Julius descended the stairs in his thick sleeping robe. His eyes narrowed when he saw the commotion in the main hall and stopped midway down the staircase. He crossed his arms and leaned on the banister.

Criselle looked at her father, but she stayed rooted in her spot, refusing to let her brothers continue their fight.

"Look at them, father! They are planning to destroy our castle!"

"I can see that," Julius said lazily.

From the balcony upstairs, Caius peeked down the hall. His eyes fell on his brothers with disinterest before he walked down to the main hall's floor at vampire speed, reaching it in no time.

"If you two want to fight, the garden is spacious. You shouldn't do it here when the children are sleeping upstairs."
