Chapter 105: Stubborn

Leo felt her forehead and found it cool. He looked at her and smiled "Babe your forehead is cool. Your temperature is okay."

"How can you call this cool?" Emma asked, putting her hand over her own forehead. "This is clammy Leo, not cool!"

"Clammy?" Leo asked and sighed. "Yes babe, you're a bit sweaty but isn't that normal?" He asked with a shrug.

The pitiful look she gave made him compromise and started to negotiate

"Okay, what if I attend to whatever urgent matter there is at work then I'll come back and pick you up later?"

"No Leo! I just need you to take me to the hospital and it would only take like an hour, maybe two!... Am I asking you for too much!?..." Emma suddenly flared with fake anger "You know what? Don't bother about it anymore, I'll just ask my sister."

Leo was lost for words. Her sudden burst of anger caught him by surprise.
