Chapter 1: I was on my own

Hi! I'm Emma and this is my story! I was born on August sixth, in the year of 2031. I am currently fifteen, and today is July fifth, fantasy day! in my world fantasy day is a day where you celebrate all the fantasies! In the normal world, they celebrate independence on July fourth. My parents are Sarah and Felix. they have raised me until I was only three years old, then they threw me on the streets and left me on my own. when I was six years old I started first grade and made a couple friends. I eventually dropped out at eighth grade and I'm am now living in a tiny apartment with a part time job at Wolfy Burgers. Yup, you heard it. A human working at Wolfy Burgers! But it's the only restaurant that pays eight dollars an hour and I work 9 hours each day. So I can afford groceries every month and the rent and bills, I cant really buy anything special or I'll run out of money and bills will only stack up. I go to work 4 days a week every month. and on one of those days a customer told me about our society, and little did I know was coming my way.
