Chapter 91: The Fall Of The Great Sue Antaler
The upcoming birthday party of Jack Shin spreads like a wild fire and everyone is anticipating it. They know this is a one big celebration. Tycoons, moguls and a lot of socialite are making their own preparations to attend such event they will not let it pass just like that. All the opportunities are in there.
Sue is browsing at her pad when she saw the news of Jack's upcoming banquet. She's very pissed because until now he haven't visited her yet.
'I think I should visit him today. Even though he's married, nobody knows it anyway. I'll just pretend that I know nothing. Even if she's there, let see if she can stand on my way if were outside their comfort zone'. She learned the truth about Jack's marriage from Ken and she is not going to give him up so easily to Azalea.
She prepared herself and drive to Shin Tower to visit him.
Sue wants to surprise Jack by visiting him without any notice but to her dismay she can't get through him without any appointment. She was pissed and started to make a scene. She keeps on telling them that she is his fiance and keeps on threatening all the employee that she will ask Jack to fire them for humiliating her. She keeps on screaming and making threats until Corbin showed up.
"Ms. Antaler, please calm down... You are disturbing the peace of this company. You know what you are doing is illegal". He tried to talk to her as calm as possible.
"Where is Jack.... Where is my fiance?". She is intentionally questioning him with a loud voice for other people to hear it. She wants to scare them using Jack's name.
"He still have a meeting. I was hoping if you could go home first and wait for his call I'm sure he.....". He was cut by Sue's whining.
"No!.... No!... No!... Go there and tell him his fiance is here or else I will cause a lot of scene in here". She is threatening him hard.
Corbin is trying his best to control his temper. Sue is getting on his nerves he really wants to throw her out of this building if only he can. He can't help himself to compare her to Azalea. They are very opposite to each other. When his phone rings he signaled his men to watch her.
"Yes sir, I'll take her". He was talking to his boss Jack.
"Ms. Antaler would you mind following me?". He don't want to be courteous to her but it's part of his job.
"See!". She's looking to all the receptionist in the counter. "Do you all think I'm lying, I am Jack Shin's fiance always remember that.... But because you put me in a bad mood I will make sure you'll going to lose all your job today". She's annoyingly smiling at them.
The receptionists didn't bothered by her threats. They are not blind they know that they are not in good terms anymore. And someone else is making their boss happy.
Corbin shook his head. He'd encountered a lot of socialite woman before but not as crazy as Sue Antaler. He wish Ms. Son can have a proper claim on his boss to lessen his job on dealing airheads like this one.
The two reached Jack's office and Sue hurriedly opened the door. Jack and her secretary Susan is looking at a document when she came in. In her eyes they are in a very intimate position. Susan's face is almost touching Jack's cheeks and they are talking about something she don't understand.
"Who the fuck are you?". She forgot her front act. The demure etiquette she always flaunt. "What are you doing with my fiance.....Are you seducing him?!". She made a quick stride and ready to grabs Susan's hair, but Susan just swat her hands and she trip.
Susan was allowed to defend herself specially when the one who's going to attack her is Sue. She will never going to hesitate.
Jack sends his secretary back to her table without any word of reprimand and let Corbin stay in the room.
"What are you doing here?". Jack asked her lazily while he is still sitting in his swivel chair looking down on Sue who's still sitting on the floor.
"I came to visit you". She is starting to play the victim role again. "We haven't seen each other for a long time and I missed you". Her tears falls like big white crystals and her face shows a broken hearted woman's pain.
'What a good actress'. A thought that quickly reside in Jack's brain. He remembered those tears and the painting of pain in her face. He always gives in when he sees them but now she looks like a joke to him.
"Is it because of her you decided not to see me anymore?". She's pertaining to Susan. She still stays on the floor and hug herself she is waiting for him to pick her up. She uses a lot of her tears this time that made her eyes swollen, the woman's greatest weapon to soften his heart and make him come to her.
"Do you really want to stay there or do you want Corbin to pick you up?". Jack is tired of her crocodile tears and she's pissing him off. He can't feel any remorse for her.
Sue frowned, her acting ability seems to lost its touch she's thinking of another way to get through him again. She stands up and brush herself like nothing happened then look at Jack with furrowed eyebrows while wiping her tears. She tried to come near him but she saw him raised his hand and signaled her to stop.
"Tell me what do you want. I don't have time to deal with you right now, you know how busy I am". He said directly to her.
"Your having a banquet on your birthday". She crossed her arm to her chest and gave him a sharp gaze.
"Yes I do. Do you have any problems with that?". He just lean lazily in his chair. He wants to show her his disinterest in their conversation.
"I will accompany you right?..... I mean, I am still your girlfriend, am I not?". She wants to know her status to him.
Jack looks at her with irritation in his eyes. He crossed his legs and put his elbows on top of his arm rest and clasp his hands to a fist. He is pissed but he can't throw any tantrums to her he needs to conceal his anger. She is now his constant reminder of his mistakes pertaining to the contract. The rules that he put there was because of her and know Azalea is suffering. She beame his hidden wife, his secret lover, and his secret trophy in this world.
"Of course you are. Unless you want me to bring my secretary with me". He is thinking of a way to deal with her.
"Really!.... I mean you don't have to bring your stupid secretary with you. All you need is me. I will prepare myself now so you won't be humiliated in your own banquet". Her eyes glisten in excitement. She knew this will going to happen.
'Ken is right even if his married to that stupid nerd Azalea he can't make a claim on her in public because it's one of the rules he put in their contract himself'. In her thoughts she is rejoicing she can still feel she have a hold on him.
"I'll go and make some preparations". She's thinking of hugging and kissing him but he made the hand stop gesture again. She frowned.
Jack saw the excitement in Sue's eyes and it made him cranky in an instant. He saw her attempt to make a move of touching him but he stopped her. He knows now how many man toyed her filthy body because of Trey he made a thorough investigation on her and found out that he even went to Riff and Ken behind his back. She became a dirty whore in his eyes and he don't want to be touch by her. He will keep her to punished her little by little until she crumbles to the ground.
"Okay, just do that". He is clearly sending her away. "And Sue".
"Yes?".
"Make sure to apologize to Susan on your way and also to the receptionists on the ground floor for your behavior earlier". He said it like asking an ordinary employee to do a task while getting back to his work.
"What!". Sue was very shocked.
"You offended them don't you think it's only proper to apologize?". He looked at her in a disdainful way.
Sue's face wrinkled and darken. She can't believed he ask her to apologize to those people she threatened to fire using him. He is obviously stripping her dignity away by making her lower herself to those trash people outside. But she can't retaliate to him or she will lose her chance of enchanting him again.
"If that's what makes you happy, I'll do it wholeheartedly". She decided to swallowed her pride. She needs him and she will do anything to get him even kissing his foot if he asked her. Today she feels this is the fall of the great Sue Antaler.
