Chapter 13: Rescue
Sapphire's POV
I held my fists into a ball as I felt my anger boiling up inside me. It was an overwhelming feeling that I know I wouldn't be able to hold in any longer.
Emotions swirled inside me. But besides my anger, guilt filled every inch of my body as I know that Casey wouldn't have suffered if it wasn't for me.
They used her to lead me out here.
They used her just to torment me.
But this is the last straw.
Casey's POV
The locks clicked as the echo filled my ears. Heavily lifting my head up, I wished that the person wouldn't be him. But still I got myself ready for more of his beatings. I need to stay strong. I need to stay alive.
I clenched my jaw and fisted my hands, waiting for the door to open.
"Casey?" May's voice broke the eerie silence, making my tears flow endlessly.
I stared at her with all my hopes lifted up. Another person came into view which made me break into sobs.
"Aiden..." I breathed out as he ran towards me with tears flowing down from his eyes.
He gently cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead, it lingered for a few seconds before he breathed out. "I'm so sorry..." he sobbed. "I'm so sorry I'm late..."
I shook my head and smiled, just happy that he came for me... that he came to save me. "I just want to go home." I was in pain but I didn't want to let him know, not right now. All I want to do is to stay in bed with him for a few days and just sleep in his arms. I want to come home to my family.
He sighed and started to break the chains off. "We're going home."
It was all that I wanted to hear.
"Where Sapphire and Aiden?" I asked while he gently lifted me up, carrying me towards May.
"They stayed outside an office. They wanted to make sure that no one would know that we're here." He explained while May crouched down and Aiden suddenly placed me on her back.
"Wait--" I wanted to ask but he placed his lips onto mine and smiled.
"May will take you home. We'll be behind you but we need to make sure that you get home safely. If a fight breaks out then we wouldn't worry about you getting in danger again." Caressing my cheek, he smiled lovingly but pain filled his eyes.
"But I--" Before I could even finish, I was out like a light.

Aiden's POV
"Why did you use your power on her?" May asked, surprised by my sudden action.
"I can't let her talk me out of this. She always win in arguements and I can't risk it all because of her own power over me." I said before I placed a gentle kiss on top of her head. "Take her home."
May sighed and nodded. "I don't mind if you tear them into pieces but promise me that you'll come home in one?"
I chuckled and shook my head in disbelief. She can still make a joke out of this situation. "We will."
May nodded and suddenly disappeared.
My hand flew to my mouth as I clutched my chest as I remembered the blood that was dripping on to her tighs. The pain was overwhelming. I could only imagine how she felt while enduring what they did to her.
My eyes landed on the chair that she was on, without hesitation I threw it across the room and screamed. It crashed into a wall and broke into a pieces, and so did I.
How would she ever recover from this?

Sapphire's POV
I was about to charge into the office with Xander pulling me back helplessly when we heard Aiden's scream from the dungeon followed by a large object crashing into a wall.
"What's happening?"
They were all whispering before a chair was pushed back with force. "I'll go check it out."
"Finally, something you'll do that would be useful."
I looked at Xander as he pulled me back to where we were before and we ducked down with his hand over to my mouth.
"Be quiet."
The door flung open as footsteps echoed through the hallway. It came closer and closer with someone mumbling under his breath. "If I could only leave this place..." A shadow appeared and soon after, a tall guy with yellow eyes and dark brown hair came into view.
