Chapter 25: 25. Predator
In the underworld, all the organisations knew about the struggle between three main organisations, fighting for domination. Black Flag Organisation originally at a neutral side, never intervened. However, five years ago, their neutral stands crumbled as Welden Smith was assassinated by Dragon Snake Gang in his own mansion at the Mediterranean private island. From that day, the Black Flag Organisation declared war between Dragon Snake Gang.
" Dammit! Why them?" Layla groaned. Lily chuckled.
" Well, I already reported to Allen and he will send reinforcement to aid you. You should know about their speciality in using poison and Gu worms." Lily read the report about the Dragon Snake Gang one by one, ignoring the man. She actually already immune at this handsome male god beside Layla.
She wanted to fangirl the man but looked at how Layla reacted and being possessive over this man in the past few months, she threw this thought away from her mind.
' I rather offending Allen than antagonising Winter, the Sharpshooter Queen from the underworld. If not, I wouldn't know how I die,' Lily shuddered at these scary thoughts. In these days, she knew about the relationship between these two people. Too hot and steamy!
' This male god can only be satisfied by Layla, not another ordinary woman can do...including me,' Lily sighed internally, lamented at her fate to be born in the same generation with Layla.
" Found him!" Layla's voice broke Lily internal struggles. She saw a black car move fast in front of her.
" Yes, that's the car. You better careful..." Lily types some codes and the horizontal screen turned facing the road.
" Adrian, you better stay inside the car. Don't try to do something stupid or else, I'll be truly mad." Layla looked at the man beside her, threatening him with her sharp eyes. Adrian laughed and nodded.
" Fine, as you wish. I hope for some make-up session~" For the last sentence, he whispered seductively at her ear. Licking and biting her earlobe with his lips. Layla shuddered at the thoughts of their previous hot and steamy nights. Her face changed, her eyes darkened in lust as she takes a kiss from him. After taking advantage of Lily not seeing anything, she pressed the pedal and rushed to cut the car path in a sharp turn. Tyres shrieking and break in gear sounded through the night and silent road.
Layla pulled out her guns and two knives stuffed into her strapping belt inside her pant leg. She quickly went out after locking the car door and saw the man cursed and pulled out his own gun.
They exchange shots for some times and quickly accelerated to close range combat.

Meanwhile, on the road, the two engaged in the close combat war. After Layla kick away his gun, her guns also run out of the bullets. She throws away the guns and pulled out two knives.
" Who are you?! You dared to make an enemy with Dragon Snake Gang!?" The man bellowed, panting hards to control the pain and injury that was given by the woman in front of him. Such a shitty luck tonight!
" Hmph! A mere Drake's lapdog, dare to bark in front of me?! I want to see how his dog different from that Gelang!" Layla steps out, jumped up to strike the man.
The man hissed as he saw a deep slash on his left shoulder. He hissed, snarled at her hatefully.
"It's you! You killed our Second in command!!" The man roared furiously and threw out a punch. Layla avoidance quite late, making the punch connected at her left rib. She hissed in pain and threw out her secret weapon, kunai towards the man.
" F*ck!" The man cursed, trying to dodge. But failed as one of the kunai struck his right thigh.
" Bitch! Die! Die!" He roared, throwing needles out. Layla summersault to the back, avoiding the needles that she knew had deadly poison coated on it. The man went down in one knee, trying to get some breath.
She remembered something and went closer to the man. Her army knife slashed his wrist. Stunned at her action, and the man alarmed when he saw Layla pulled out a tablet from his slashed wrist. She knows his secret poison to commit suicide!
The man felt his legs went numb and looked at her in horror. How come...?
" Strange? I fought with Gelang half-dead two years ago, so I knew the secret." Layla threw away the tablet and went on to attack. Her leg flew towards the man temple, shot him down to the ground. The man groaned, puffing breaths. He can no longer be able to move as he lost a lot of blood from the slash on his wrist.
Layla walked towards him, and quickly treat his injury on the wrist. He understands her intention, she wanted to interrogate him while alive. She saw dragon and snake tattoos on his left forearm, intertwined each other.
She still remembers how worst Allen's day at that time. He was forced to take over the Black Flag Organisation after his family was massacred in one night. If not for Fred, he already died by committing suicide.
She tied up the man and put him to sleep before dragging him into her car booth. After securing the man, she went to clear the battle site and got a call from Allen's aid team. They arrived on time. What she needs them was to clean the place. Afterwards, she left with Adrian who is not moving from the car.
" Impressive as ever, baby." Adrian whistled. Looking at how his wife fighting with such elegance, yet deadly seductive, make him hard and excited.
Layla stiffened. Did he recognize her now? Impossible!
After her times in training with Adrian, she went to learn more martial arts to conceal some trace of his fighting stance and styles.
She heard from Allen that Adrian was injured at his left calf in his last mission before he takes early retirement and forever disappears from the pugilistic world.
