Chapter 10: Is She Dead?
Graviel watched as his boss approached his car. "Although boss acts weird after he got into an accident I guess his new self isn't all that bad. He now praises me instead of scolding me like he always did in the past". Graviel spun and head towards the direction of his car after seeing Harry enter his car.
Although Harry was the first person to enter the car, Graviel was the first to drive away.
It didn't reach up to two minutes Graviel left that Harry heard a crashing sound at the front and a person scream.
'Did he get into an accident?'
Fear crept into Harry's heart the moment realisation of what might have happened dawned on him.
Quickly, he ignited the car and drove to the front to confirm what had happened. When he got to the scene of the incident, he met Graviel kneeling in front of a figure lying on the ground.
Even from afar, he could see a pool of blood where the person lay. "Did he kill someone? Goddamn it!" Graviel hasten to go check on what happened from a close distance.
"Is she dead?" Asked Harry from a distance. The fear that he might get implicated if the lady on the floor died did not make Harry move closer.
He loves freedom more than anything. He would never sacrifice his freedom for anything in this world and that's why getting locked up in prison as an accomplice wasn't an option.
"No, she is still breathing," Graviel said sounding scared. He shifts his gaze to stare at Harry. "She is alive now but I am afraid she won't be alive for long if I don't take her to the hospital".
Harry gained the confidence to walk closer after listening to Graviel's words. "Let's take her to the hospital," Graviel suggested as he bent closer to where the lady lay. He and Graviel assisted the lady to where he parked his car. Since both the lady's car and Graviel's car were damaged they couldn't make use of it.
While Harry rode the car, Graviel stayed with the unconscious lady in the backseat. As he drive he often steal glances at the backseat to make sure everything was alright.
Reaching the hospital nurses came to their assistance. They assisted in taking the bleeding lady inside the huge hospital. "Boss, thank you so much for your assistance. I will take it up from here. You don't have to worry," Graviel said, bowing slightly in courtesy when Harry wanted to go in with him.
'I was waiting to hear him call me to brag about finding that perfect lady he was searching for but why did he get into an accident instead', Harry's mind wander around seeing Graviel's bloodstained white shirt.
'Does the bleeding lady has anything to do with his greatest wish? Is that why he got into an accident some minutes after the system confirmed that his greatest wish has been granted?'
Harry became kinda confused after what happened. Anytime the system confirmed that the greatest wish has been granted, that is what always happened so why is Graviel's case different?
Except that the accident happened so that his greatest wish will come true.
The impatient Graviel who wants to get into the hospital as soon as possible waved his hand at Harry's face when he didn't say anything. "Boss are you alright".
"Since you are confident about handling things here then I will leave. I will come to check on you tomorrow".
Harry went to the car after tapping Graviel on the shoulder. He zoomed off after seeing Graviel dashed into the hospital.
Despite that, he knew nothing about the guy called Harry Walker, that didn't mean he doesn't know where Paradise hotel is located.
As John Walker, he had been to a lot of places and mingled with a lot of people of different classes, beliefs and statuses.
Anywhere there is fun, you will find John Walker there. That was his kind of lifestyle and he is not going to change merely because he is Harry Walker. He will have fun to the fullest and make sure his second chance was worthwhile.
Getting to the hotel, he didn't need to embarrass himself asking for his room but the manager of the hotel himself showed him to his room.
"Being a big shot is awesome. I can't wait to explore the identity of Harry Walker".
Harry shut the door after biding the manager farewell.
"Wow! This is heaven!" Harry couldn't hide his excitement the minute he turned around to face his room.
He has been to many hotels in his life but the room right in front of him is the most luxurious hotel room he has ever entered.
The room itself screamed WEALTH not to mention the exotic decors.
He took his time checking the room. He was left even more amazed after he has examined everything in the VVIP hotel room. 'I guess this will be my new home from now on'. Harry fell on the bed with satisfaction visible on his face.
The rumbling sound of his stomach made Harry recall the hell he went through the entire day. He had no chance to eat throughout the day.
"I went through hell today but the goddamn system didn't show me my current stats. Was the result of my hard work a total waste?" muttered Harry as he sat up on the bed.
It was as if the system heard his words because the instant he finished badmouthing the system, the notification he was looking forward to popped up.

"Now that my wealth points are intact, I can chill without any worries," A beautiful smile appears on his face.
