'Her mother? Her mother is Mother Superior Alethia. How did I not see it until now?' Tristan thought to himself.

"That doesn't mean anything." Tristan argued. "Even if we wanted to work together, I wouldn't be able to trust someone so easily."

"There are too many of them that will be on the watch and ready to strike for you to handle alone. We both need to stick together if you want to stay alive. And if you want what's under my shirt," she said, motioning to where her breasts pressed against the top of her shirt.

Tristan pulled away from her and stared into her eyes, trying to understand why she was being so forward with him. Was it because she didn't think he would think with his brain? Or was it simply that she was just that confident in herself and her abilities?

"Is this some test?" Tristan asked. He still hadn't taken his eyes off her face. "I'm not sure how much more of your manipulation I can take today."
