Chapter 39: CHAPTER 39: An Old Lady

"This is beautiful, isn't it?" he whispers in my ears. His voice sounds poetic and charming, something I could never resist.

"Words are not enough to describe this moment's perfection, Adrian" I whisper back, close to his mouth as I'm laying on his chest.

I feel so comfortable on his body that I almost believe I'm actually sleeping on a could. Away from anything I once found painful and not fair.

I only feel joy and comfort in his arms, in this place. I am home now, as long as I'm with him.

"I am here with you, now and always and nothing is going to change that reality. You chose me and I chose you, regardless our past and the people we were forced to be with. Nothing else mattered since the moment we loved each other" Adrian says, while kissing me on my forehead softly. "We suffered the most and we deserve to be happy. Just you and me" he continues.
