About the soul, magic and other energies.
Hello, everybody. The author is with you. This chapter is designed specifically to explain the structure of the soul. In fact, some things will be explained in the fanfic. So consider this as a guidebook. I will not analyze some specific energies (Sirzechs' Power of Destruction, Ophis' Power of Infinity, etc.) as these are just special states of the basic energies. You can learn more about them in the fanfic itself.
I. The Soul and its structure.
The soul itself exists as a sphere. There are three layers with a core in the center. We'll take it apart from the first layer.
1. The first layer.
It's a name traditionally worn by the physical body. However, this component is far from obligatory - there are quite a few creatures that are not burdened with this shell. They are commonly called spirits (or ghosts, or phantom and so on). The first layer of the soul also produces prana, life strength, ki, yang, and the like.
2. The second layer.
These are the spiritual lines and knots along which mana flows. It's this Sheath that allows you to do the spell. In ordinary people, the second layer is in a "sleeping" state, and only in the body of a properly trained magician, it blossoms in all its glory. Of course, even in non-wizards, it is present and functions - such things as prayer, meditation depend on it. Also because of it, ordinary people, even a little bit, but can use mana (although their reserves are not enough even for "Firefly").
3. The third layer.
It's also called the sea of consciousness, the inner world, and the like. It's one thing. It includes two parts.
3.1
A sensual spirit. It's personality, character, emotions, feelings. This very part is usually understood by the soul in fairy tales - a creature deprived of this part becomes like a soulless machine.
3.2
Thinking spirit. It's mind, memory. It is thanks to this part that the spirit retains the ability to think and remember after death, despite the loss of the brain.
4. Core.
Or True Soul is the central core,to which all other layers are "attached". This is the most important part of all - the self-consciousness. In it, the basic information about the structure of the soul is encoded. It is impossible to change or destroy the core. This very core of the soul is responsible for the continuity of the chain of reincarnations - when the soul goes for reincarnation, only this core remains. Though sometimes shreds of other Layers cling to it. This core also generates the energy of faith (but we will talk about it later).
You can also add some "modifications" to the core. For example, when you get a body, you can change it automatically (add strength, dexterity, tentacles), or you can add an automatic Google Translator for all languages of a multiverse. The possibilities are limited by fantasy.

II. Primary energies.
There are mana, chakra, ki, chi, and so on. It's all uninteresting and boring bullshit. We won't even talk about it. We're more interested in the elements. Anyway, there are three categories. The highest, middle, and lowest (it's easier to explain).
1. Highest.
Only four: Darkness and Light, Order and Chaos.
1.1 Pure Light and Pure Darkness. The key difference between them is the direction of the flow. From themselves and to themselves. Radiation and absorption. Altruism and selfishness. Light gives, darkness takes. Light is creation, darkness is destruction. Light sanctifies and blesses everything, darkness defiles and devours. Together these primordials form a balance - not static, but constantly fluctuating and moving. They are the very essence of the universe. In full accordance with the symbolism of yin-yang Light and Darkness complement each other and flow into each other. This balance of two opposites - this is the True Soul. To combine these opposites into a single whole and thus create a new soul is beyond the control of either magicians or gods. And in the same way, no force can tear this one whole apart and stop the existence of the soul. For every True Soul is a tiny particle, a spark of the uncreated and unchanging... I won't say, it's an intrigue.
1.2 With chaos and order, it gets easier and harder at the same time. Chaos is a constant mutation, evolution and degradation, progress and regression, complexity, madness and limitless possibilities. Chaos is changing.
The order is different. Order is stability, simplicity, logic, and bounds. Order is stagnation. Together they create the universe. Chaos is like baking ingredients from which everything can be created. Order is the baking form that keeps the baked goods from breaking up into pieces. I hope I've made myself clear.
2. Middle.
It is Space and time, life and death, mental.
2.1 With space and time, I don't think I need to explain. I can only say that many people underestimate these two elements. I suggest that you google and go deeper into physics. There are a lot of interesting things there (Antimatter, vector control, black holes, the quantum world, etc.).
2.2 It's the same with life and death. It is only necessary to add that life can control organic substances (blood, body, cells and viruses). Death, on the other hand, allows to manipulate the soul to some extent ( Specifically, the second layer.For the fourth layer you need to either use runes, rituals and artifacts or control one of the higher elements).
2.3 Mental magic manipulates the third layer of the soul, that is the mind. That's it. The description is quite short, but the potential is enormous.
3. Lowest.
It's earth, water, fire, air. This also includes the control of their specific parts (metal, lightning, lava and so on). Is there anything to explain?
The rest of the elements are hybrids. For example, a holy element is a hybrid of light and order (but it is much weaker than its creators).

III. Energy manipulation.
We can settle things pretty quickly here, too. To manipulate the ki, chi, chakra, etc. often nothing is needed, only a strong body and mind (with the chakra there are many control variants so let's add it to the rest).
Magic is easy, too.
А magician cannot freely manipulate all elements, even lowest (except for the Avatar, but there is a special case). Often magicians have inborn elements. For example, earth and fire, space-time (the middle elements are interrelated, so they usually go with each other), water and air.
However, there is a limit. You can, of course, add yourself one-two elements, but there are their own conditions (more in fanfic). To control the rest of the elements you need concentrators ( wands, staffs, runes, dragon Lacrimas). But you will control them worse than the innate.
It is also impossible to have two inborn opposite elements (Dark and Light, Chaos and Order, Fire and Water). If you try to force them together, you'll be disabled at best. Totally. All body and soul. And it'll be hundreds of millions of years to heal.
IV. The most important thing - faith.
Faith is the most important energy. It can be used to unconsciously manipulate reality. With enough faith, it is even possible to create worlds. It's just that a huge number of beings must believe that these worlds are real. Let me explain.
Incarnation - the process of forming or changing reality under the influence of faith or beliefs of a sufficiently large group of beings (beings created by faith themselves do not possess the energy of faith). There are three important things:
1. Realization - if a large number of creatures believe in something, it can become a reality.
2. Changing history - if something has become real, and it is widely believed, it is impossible to determine exactly what is the cause and what is the consequence. So even the history of the past can change.
3. Different interpretations of events - if there are several common versions of the justification for something that contradicts each other, it is quite possible that they are all simultaneously true. Therefore, myths and science are equally true.
That's how much faith is strong. If a huge number of creatures believe that, for example, you, my dear reader, God, maybe this will happen. Or you were already God before the creatures started believing that you were God. Or... Anyway, it's complicated and illogical, but it's a fact. Let me give you a simpler example. There's a spell called "Fireball." It's pretty weak and worthless. However, a huge crowd of people believes it's an "Armageddon" spell. It's likely to become "Armageddon" in the end. Or it has already been...
Something like that. With faith, you can create gods, mythology, worlds, cookies. Whatever you want. As long as faith is enough.
