Chapter 61: Take Me to the Party

A waiter brought food to the door of a room that regularly ordered room service three times a day. A person dressed in white, possibly a hired nurse, took the food cart and gave a generous tip. The atmosphere was dreadful, but the waiter remained happy because of the two hundred dollars tip he always received from the room's owner.

The nurse brought the food in and placed it on the bedside table so she could easily feed the figure handcuffed and asleep. "It's time to eat, Miss," the middle-aged nurse said politely as if she were serving an ordinary person.

Ava opened her eyes and found herself once again waking up still stuck to the bed. Her hands were sore and achy. But she couldn't do anything to improve her condition.
