Chapter 5: Timeskip and Flashback
"KIRA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
A nun whom I previously knew as sister Anna shouted my name, as I was about to finish the fight.
After being separated and treating the wounded, I was lectured and 'interrogated' about what happened to the point where I beat him.
I'm just explaining the truth, without telling where I was before. I also blamed the older children, saying that they were discriminating against the sand boy's friend.
After being asked for an explanation, they realized that what I was doing was defending myself.
I was only asked to forgive the sand boy. I do not mind. In fact, if I do well, the previously lost footing can be replaced with a new one.
So now I met him. He wasn't alone, his friend from the previous incident the black-haired boy was with him.
"Please forgive his actions" - said the black-haired boy as he bowed. There was regret in his voice.
"Oh, no, it's okay. I understand what happened, so it's not his fault, 'not completely.'" - I replied, with a final sentence to myself.
"Thank you for understanding."
"By the way, what's your name guys? I'm Kira."
"Ah, sorry, my name is Kankuro, and the red-haired kid beside me is Gaara." - Kankuro answered while pointing at himself and Gaara. Gaara on the other hand just nodded his head. Hmm, he's quieter than I thought.
Even though it was awkward at first, we continued to talk after that.
From that conversation, I learned that Kankuro is a year older than Gaara and I, he doesn't have a quirk either, but he is interested in mechanical things. It's quite unfortunate, but there's nothing useless. Now the question is how do I use it.
As for Gaara, he's the same as Gaara in the story with no tanuki and some traits that don't match the story.
After that time, we tried to play together, Gaara still hasn't opened up to me but it doesn't matter, not everything has to be done fast, sometimes you have to slow down to get something worthwhile.
Timeskip 2 year, (MC 6 yo)
I am currently entering elementary school, A lot of things have happened over the last 2 years, for example, our relationship has gotten better, well it's not a surprise so I'll go through with it.
Something I want to tell you is better than that. But first we had to back off when I was 5 years old.

When it was my fifth birthday, we celebrated together, not a fancy celebration with a big cake, but a small celebration with bread and matches on top. It's something simple, but if I see who gave it I'm quite touched.
To be honest, I feel a little guilty thinking about my intentions towards them earlier.
Anyway, something surprising happened after that. The robotic voice I had heard before when Gaara went berserk was back again, but the difference was that it explained a lot to me.
It describes itself as a nanomachine within my body, it also has many abilities, one of which I have used is its ability to absorb what I see, in other words, photographic memory.
I also 'download' the knowledge that is already in it, such as various kinds of martial arts, basic and intermediate level academic abilities and so on.
It also has abilities like regeneration which can increase my survival rate.
But what surprised me the most was that I had a quirk. The reason why it wasn't identified earlier was because of the nano in my body.
My quirk ability is also not something that can emit fire and ice or a pressure that can destroy buildings to change the weather.
It's something smaller.
But with nano with me, it has tremendous potential. I call it Fusion. This ability allows me to fuse with things that exist or have contact with me and make them a part of my body.
(A/N; MC has the option to be completely fused or separate, both have their drawbacks.)
Sounds pretty strong, right? But before that can happen, some conditions must be met. For example, if I want to fuse with the blade I have to stay in contact with the blade throughout the fusion process.
The length of the process depends on the object I want to fuse, the best example being nano, it takes about a year to fuse with it.
Although, the fusion time will decrease with my growth. It's not an effective quirk when used in combat.
Even so, I'm quite satisfied with what I have now.
