Chapter 54: The rightful Lord.
Cheon Mujin, whether he admits it or not, is having quite the hard time right now. No matter how much he took Cheon Yeowun's furtiouse encounter, the latter still grows up to be a Supreme Master. Though he is not still at his level yet he knew that by some bullshit main character plot Cheon Yeowun would eventually catch up to him.
And he is not willing to let that happen. He is not allowed to kill him but that does not mean he is not allowed to take what is his.
After their failed expedition, the cult thought that Cheon Mujin had gone into isolated training but that is not the case. Cheon Mujin used that one month to go to the Sword Creek and take the blade traces left behind there by Blade God.
After taking Blade God's traces he managed to level up his martial arts he was creating and now he is at the end stage of Supreme Master. Very powerful enough to defeat Cheon Yeowun by a margin, if it weren't for Great Guardian Marakyum then I would've been able to overpower him.
"Sword Force of the Sky Demon: Second Formation!" Cheon Yeowun unfolded the most powerful sword formation in existence and concentrated its might unto me with the intention of fully killing me.
But unfortunately for him, I know that technique too so in turn I unfolded mine.
'Sword Force of the Sky Demon: Third Formation.' Upon unleashing mine, our two sword formation collided against each other, the ground was destroyed leaving a wide creator that was littered with sword slashes deeply embedded to the ground.
"You! That's impossible!" I could see Cheon Yeowun's surprised expression and that truly delighted me.
My lips rose up to a smile and greeted him with it as if saying 'nothing is impossible, my dear brother'.
"Did you think that you're the only one who can perform the Sword Force of the Sky Demon?" I asked him with ridicule.
"Sword Force of the Sky Demon: Third Formation!" He unfolded his technique once again.
"Sword Force of the Sky Demon: Fourth Formation!" To which I annulled.
Then I looked at Great Guardian Marakyum and saw him stopping his movement. It seems that he is conflicted. Any bloodline of Cheon who managed to perform the original Sword Force of the Sky Demon is automatically the Lord of the Cult but now that two of them have appeared it seems like he is conflicted on whom to side with.
"I could see you conflicted Great Guardian." I whispered to him like the devil enticing with my sound emission technique.
"You are wondering who you should put your loyalty to now that I have appeared."
"No! Even if you have the Sword Force of the Sky Demon! My Lord is still far better than you! You failed to protect the previous lord!" Shouted Great Guardian Marakyum to me and from that I smiled.
"Oh? Do you think so?" I smirked then I poured Sky Demon Qi over to my wrist guard and from it the glistening beautiful blade of the Sky Demon Sword assembled in mid-air.
There are two ways to become the Lord by the Great Guardian. That is by having the original Sword Force of the Sky Demon or having Cheon Ma's original Sky Demon Sword.
Cheon Yeowun only had the Sword Force of the Sky Demon Technique while I have both. After I showed my Sky Demon Sword to him, the Great Guardian was struck and he bent his knee to the ground and struck his head. With reluctance he greeted Cheon Mujin once again
"I greet the Second Generation Cheon Ma! All hail the Sky Demon Order!" He struck his head three times to the ground and shouted. Then he stood up from his seat and pointed his sword at Cheon Yeowun.
Cheon Yeowun was taken aback. How did Cheon Mujin get the Sky Demon Sword? Now that he thinks about it, something did feel missing when he entered the Sealed Demon Cave. As if something very crucial was taken from it, now he knew what it was.
"Did you get that from the Sealed Demon Cave?" Cheon Yeuwun asked to which I smiled. By that smile he already knew the answer.
"Now what is it my dear brother? What are you going to do now?" I asked him.
Then suddenly. He pulled out his blade, a blade that was made of pure thousand cold iron and brandished it. Since he was cornered Cheon Yeowun performed the blade technique of Blade God. In his mind he thought that maybe I don't know the Extreme Art of Blade God and thought I only knew Sword Force of the Sky Demon.
Extreme Art of the Blade God!
Cheon Yeowun weaved his blade in an ungodly formation, creating a whirlwind of blade movements that would make any blade user kneel in reverence. His image split into dozens of figures, each of them performing the Blade Formation.
But as he unfolded his blade technique I also unfolded mine.
The same thing happened except mine holds more punch than his.
"Hahaha everything that you have I can do better!" I laughed at him as I saw his face slowly go through despair. Our blades clashed agains one another creating a symphony of metal clang.
"Great guardian! Do no interfere with this fight! This is mine alone to win!" I shouted at Marakyum who was about to join in. Upon my words he stopped on his track and remained static.
"How do you know even Blade God's technique!?" Shouted Cheon Yeowun at me.
"Do you think you are the only one with Godlike martial arts talent?"
"Think again! The world doesn't revolve around you!" Even though it did. The world does revolve around him, I just want to shake his mental barrier right now.
But as our blades and sword clashed against one another, I could see him slowly falling to despair but suddenly I saw a glint of hope within his eyes.
Then I felt three presence from the forest. I am familiar with them. Huan Yi the twelfth elder and the Clan Leader of Ghost Illusion Clan, Yeon Mun Hwa the eleventh elder and clan leader of Hazy Demon Sword Clan and finally Sama Yi the Tenth Elder and Clan Leader of Nihility Clan.
