Chapter 7: chapter 6
team seven had finally stepped outside of the village for the first time in their life. they might not feel it but Naruto could feel that the outside world was full of negative emotions. naruto began to walk with the rest of team 7.
while the other teammates didn't pay that much attention to their surroundings that didn't mean naruto was going to follow their example. he made sure to search for chakra signatures constantly.
naruto felt that there were two ninjas following them since they left the village. Naruto was about to pull out the spear that scathach had gifted him, but he realized that if he acted like he was alerted now then they wouldn't attack them.
I mean he could just go to them and kill or capture them, but he honestly wanted to let them attack when they thought that they had the upper hand and destroy any hope they had about attacking him.
for the next five minutes, they started walking but naruto sensed that the two enemies finally started to ambush us. they pulled out chains and "killed" Kakashi, but I knew it was a genjustu. I pulled out gae blog and sliced their Achilles tendon, they fell over and tried to get back up.
I pulled out ropes then I sealed and tied them to the tree. I proceeded to ask them who sent them, they wouldn't talk so I pulled out a dagger and stabbed one of their knees. that got them talking real quick. they said they were hired by a man named gato.
that's when Kakashi made his entrance emerging from the trees. Kakashi looked at me with pity in his eyes. I mean I wanted information and they had it for me, so I got it out of them.
after I got the information I questioned tuna about why he lied about the mission details. when he started to say that his town was being ruled by a greedy merchant. we then decided that we will complete the mission.
We continued walking before my sixth sense warned me of something coming in our direction. I yelled "get down", before grabbing tazuna and pulling him onto the ground. a big blade got embedded in a tree a couple of seconds later.
"looks like there is a capable person in your group," the man said as he appeared on his sword.
I studied the man and noticed that another person was hiding outside of our vision.
"Well, well if it isn't rogue Nina of the mist Zabuza momochi," Kakashi said walking slowly towards him.
'so this is a rogue ninja, from the way Kakashi is talking, it would seem that this Zabuza is powerful. judging by the way Kakashi is walking slowly up to him that means he's most likely going to lose this fight,' I started thinking.
from the amount of chakra he had, and comparing it to Kakashi it was safe to assume that my theory was correct.
"I assume you are Kakashi, the Sharingan user..." he said before continuing, "sorry but, I'll have you hand over the old man."
"get in the Manjit battle formation, you guys. protect tazuna. don't involve yourself in this fight," Kakashi said.
I quickly got into formation and took off the spear I had on my back and luckily I did because the mist started to come in.
"let's end the talking here. I must kill the old man immediately, but it seems I have to defeat you first," Zabuza said.
he kicked the tree and my eyes followed his movements and he appeared standing on water.
a tiny bit of whirlpool started building up from around him and I could tell he was building up a lot of chakras.
suddenly he disappeared and Kakashi walked forward again.
"he'll probably come to erase me first...," he said stopping.
"What is he," Sakura asked.
"Zabuza momochi, he's an annual black ops member in the hidden mist and is known as "the silent killing" technique expert," Kakashi explained.
"well if we fail, well only die," Kakashi said.
"How can you be so carefree," Sakura yelled.
I noticed the mist getting thicker and used my eye of kagura to its max and began to sense the two people again.
"the land of waves is surrounded by ocean. so mist rises very easily," tazuna said.
"eight spots. the larynx, the spine, the lungs, the liver... the jugular, and the subclavian veins. the kidneys, the heart. now then, which vulnerable spot would be good," Zabuza said.
"the larynx," I responded quickly.
"Naruto now is not the time to be messing around," Sakura yelled.
I noticed Kakashi building up the chakra and the mist dispelling a little so everything was visible.
suddenly I was met with killing intent, it was okay however it was nothing compared to when I first started sparing against scathach.
"Sasuke, don't worry. I'll protect you with my life. I will not allow my comrades to be killed." Kakashi said before turning his head towards us.
I felt the wind change and Zabuza appeared behind us, I however already anticipated this and knew that this was a water clone and the real one was still hiding.
Kakashi appeared and blocked his knife swing and the real Zabuza appeared behind him about to swing his sword. I took this chance to appear behind him and stab him threw the heart with my spear.
this time it wasn't the water clone, but the real body and he coughed up blood and I removed my spear from his chest, to which Zabuza fell to the ground lying motionless.
I went to the nearest tree and barfed and the fact that I had taken a life. I got out of my mood and quickly rejoined the others.
"you killed him," Sakura said fearfully.
"yes, now let's finish this mission so I can get home and eat some barbecue with Shikamaru and choji," I said before walking back to tazuna village.
we continued in silence and the occasional look from Kakashi, while I had been walking I had a clone follow the person that was hiding earlier in the fight.
so we reached tazuna's house and met tsunami, tazuna's daughter. she was a lovely person, (not romantically) and I helped out when it came to cooking since I was good at it.
I met the brat that went on to say some stuff about heroes isn't real. honestly, I turned him out and ate the meal that we cooked.
after eating I went outside on the roof and stared at the stars. I lost track of how long I was staring before I sat back up.
I entered the training grounds and met with Scáthach sitting there. I walked over to her and handed her the spare ramen I had in my inventory.
"you know if you want you can join me outside, at least now I know I can trust you," I told her.
"and do what?" she responded.
"don't know, we can go exploring, we can help the mist in their revaluation or we can go to another world. I can do whatever you want to do," I said.
she didn't respond and just stared at the ceiling and looked lost in thought. I lifted the restrictions to this place so that if she wanted to she can leave.
I appeared back on the roof and fell asleep for the rest of the night.
I woke up sometime later due to sensing bloodlust directed toward me. I closed my eyes and pinpointed the position.
once I had the position of the target in the range I used chronokinesis to freeze the enemy in place and body flickering behind them and used Gáe Bulg and pierced their heart.

when I stopped the chronokinesis stop I felt a chunk of my chakra disappear. I looked at the body of the person I killed.
I sighed before digging a hole and burying them. I then place a rock over the grave and went back to "my" roof.
I began to formulate a couple of plans on how to proceed with this mission. I could do the easy way and assassinate gato, or I can wait for him to make a move.
I decided to deal with it in the morning and l laid back down. I dreamt that I was in a place that was being overrun by monsters and people were defending a building.
I awoke to see Scáthach standing over me. my soul left my body for a couple of seconds before I grabbed it and put it back in my body.
"you scared me for a second there," I said sitting up.
"your teammates are currently guarding the bridge," she said.
I stood up and set up two clones to protect the house and grabbed my kunai and threw it just hard enough so it lands Infront of the bridge.
I turned towards Scáthach and said, "you coming."
"no, I'm going back to the training chamber and not dealing with these weaklings," she said as I disappeared.
I reappeared and grabbed my kunai and looked up only to be met with Sakura wide-eyed and Sasuke fuming, Kakashi wasn't surprised in the slightest.
"sorry I'm late, did I miss anything?" I asked.
"no you didn't," Kakashi answered.
I nodded my head at made shadow clones to help build the bridge faster, that was until I felt a group approaching us with malicious intent.
"Guys we have a group approaching, get ready to defend," I shouted before dispelling all my clones.
Sasuke and Sakura got into position, however i body flickered onto the nearby roof and waited for the perfect opportunity to strike.
three minutes later a group carrying swords and other weapons was approaching us and the short man was talking about how tazuna's bridge would ruin his business.
My body flickered behind him and grabbed his neck and placed a restraining seal on him to make sure he was not going anywhere.
our team proceeded to dispatch the rest of the mob, I knocked out two and kept one alive.
"Sakura come here," I said, to which she reluctantly followed me.
I woke up the bandit and told him to fight her with all he had or not even the afterlife will save him from me.
I proceeded to watch over Sakura's one-sided beating and made sure to step in when there were life-threatening injuries and healed them.
this continued until the bride was completed and I took Gato in Infront of all the villagers.
"it would be a shame if Gato lost his memory and his good friend tazuna were to inherit all his belongings," I said as I removed the seal on Gato and kicked him hard enough that he fell in the middle of the crowd.
I then met up with the rest of team 7 and we left for Konoha. we finally arrived back at the village and we went to report the mission to the Hokage.
while we were in the Hokage office I could see the pop-up of how many sins he had right next to his body.
after reporting the mission we left the Hokage office I got some food from the barbeque shop and teleported home to be met with Scáthach already there.
"your mother is really beautiful," she said as she looked at the photo of my mom and dad.
"yeah, she was," I said. "I have food for us so come on and eat."
we ate in peace then I cleaned up the mess afterward. scathach took the bed and I took the couch, before I could go to sleep I got a message from the system.

mission: protect and don't allow it to fall.
