Chapter 112: Threesome 2
As Shun and his clones flew toward the incoming barrage of explosion bullets, his chakra flared and took on a golden hue, transforming into an armour.
Boom...
As they both made contact, a series of explosions rang out and Shun and his clones were all drowned in the sea of explosions.
"Isn't that a little too much, nee-san?" Ria asked as she approached Hinami.
Hinami waved her hand dismissively and said, "It's Shun we're talking about here. What could happen to him?"
Ria looked at her weirdly and then sighed. "You're right, but still I feel lik- CAREFUL"
Boom.....
A series of loud thuds were heard as multiple black rods rammed into Hinami and her clones, dispelling them and sending the real Hinami flying.
Ria went on guard and waved her hand causing a gust of wind to blow apart the dust generated by the explosions.
The sight that greeted her was the sight of Shun and his clones, coated in a silver colored armour, smiling carefreely as they all turned their gaze at her.
"Hinami is right, you know. It's me we're talking about here, what could go wrong?" Shun said.
Ria squinted her eyes as she looked at the armour on him and with a wave of her hand, cracks appeared on them all, causing a look of shock to appear on Shun's face.
A moment later, a smile crept back on his lips as his chakra flared and negated what Ria was doing.
"Tsk" Ria snorted in dissatisfaction as Hinami flew back while clutching her stomach.
"Why weren't you affected by my explosions? Was it because of that armour?" Hinami asked as soon as she arrived.
"Yup, this armour was created with a metal that absorbs kinetic energy to a certain extent and sends it back should I desire" Shun explained with a smile.
Yep, the metal Shun created is exactly what y'all think it is, Vibranium, not the exact same thing but a metal with similar properties.
With creation of all things, Shun could only create things he has prior knowledge of to its foundational level, so although Shun knows what and how a vibranium works, he doesn't know the chemical make up of the metal.
"So an armour made from a metal that cripples my explosion?" Hinami asked.
"Basically, yes." Shun nodded. "So that means you're basically out of the contest"
"Says who? I just have to keep bombarding you with explosions till the armour gives up" Hinami said with a victorious smile on her face.
"Oh? And you forget I made this with my chakra. As long as I have chakra, I can recreate them if they're shattered" Shun said, proving Hinami to be in a disadvantageous position.
"I don't think so," Ria said from the side.
"Oh? Why is that?" Shun asked.
"Because I can destroy it now. You see, I've been trying to figure out something a since I woke up, my new ability included, and guess what I came up with?" Ria asked with a smug smile.
This time, it was Shun's turn to squint his eyes. If what Ria was saying is true, then she has figured out a way to manipulate vectors in these few minutes.
'Sigh, a genius indeed.' Shun thought.
"Firstly, the clouds of dust and sands flowing around, don't you find them familiar?" She asked again.
Shun looked around closely before his eyes flashed with a trace of surprise. 'As expected, she found a way to create hers'
Ria noticed his reaction which further increased the smugness on her face.
"That's right, with the help of my clones, I spread my chakra all over this part of your dimension, inadvertently turning here into my domain. Coupled with this new ability I just got, I'm 100 percent sure I can give you a run for your money. Care to try?" Ria asked as she took a stance.
"Well, that's what we're here for in the first place, ain't it?" Shun said with an excited smile.
Hinami used her Tenseigan to look around and was surprised to see that the very air around them seemed to be an extension of Ria's chakra.
She smiled wryly and thought, 'As expected from Ria, she's a genius no doubt'
Although Hinami hadn't gotten her own domain, she wasn't really worried about it as Kaguya told her that her Tenseigan when trained properly could rival Shun with or without his domain.
"Now then, Shun, in your own words, shall we dance?" Ria said and suddenly everything stilled and Shun felt a pulling force acting on him.
'Oh? Guess she's learned the attraction force of physics. Beautiful' Shun thought as he allowed his body to fly toward her.
Mid-flight, he smirked and raised his hands before slamming it down toward Ria, causing a gigantic palm nearly 3 meters in both length and width and slams it toward the two girls.
Ria merely smiled before the entire palm disintegrated and turned to dust.
Shun's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of this. 'What the hell did she do right there?' he thought while still flying towards her with a smile.
Ria wasn't one to engage in close combat so his attention wasn't fixed on her but on Hinami, and true to his thought, Ria changed the direction he was flying towards and veered him toward Hinami.
Hinami took a stance with chakra coating her palm ready to strike at the given opportunity.
'Oh hell no. There's no way I'm getting close to that without protection ' Shun thought as he immediately reinforced his body with vibranium metal and raised his fist to welcome the incoming punch.
Boom
An explosion went off as the palm and fist met and they were both sent back due to the force.
Shun landed steadily while Hinami floated to create a distance between them.
Before she could get comfortable, Shun flashed and appeared by her side and threw a punch to her face to which she inclined her head, allowing the fist to pass by but the aura around the fist got to her, sending her flying.
She stabilized herself in the air and looked at Shun weirdly, "What was that? I'm sure I evaded that punch,"
"Of course you did, but that's an application of natural energy that even you could do. Did you think this chakra flowing around me was for fancy?" Shun asked with a teasing smirk.
"You too should be able to do it. Look at the chakra gushing out of you, with proper control, you could achieve even this, here I come" Shun said and flashed again, this time appearing in front of her and threw a punch to her ribs.
Instead of dodging, she raised her leg to block the punch while coating the part that blocked it with chakra.
Shun smiled seeing this and threw another punch after another with Hinami blocking them without dodging any.
To anyone watching, they both looked like two flashes of gold and green meeting and clashing continuously.
At a point, Hinami managed to make use of a small lapse in Shun's punches to throw a palm of her own at a near sonic speed at his chest
Shun saw this with his Rikugan but couldn't dodge it as it was way past his basic speed limit.
Reinforcing his chest armour Shun prepared to receive the palm.
Crack.
A cracking sound resounded as Shun's chest caved in with the armour almost being shattered. The remnant force behind the palm went on further to impact his body causing him to fly back while spitting out saliva.
Boom.
A crater was created where he landed as he looked at the sky in confusion.
'What the hell was that? There weren't any explosions so what!?' Shun thought.
"You must be wondering what that was, right?" Hinami asked. "Well, that was something that I came up with while you were attacking. I thought, 'what if I can further compress my chakra to its most minimal size before hitting you with it'. Obviously, I figured it was dangerous but it's you we're talking about here so..." Hinami finished with a giggle
'That's becoming a new reasonable excuse for them' Shun thought with a wry smile as he stood up
"What about you Ria, we haven't danced as you proposed," Shun said.
"Oh don't worry, I'm leaving the opening to nee-san" Ria replied.
"I see, you want to see if I have any exploitable weaknesses," Shun said as he dusted the debris on him.
Ria smiled without saying anything, proving Shun correct. "So? What do you think so far?"
"I think you're underestimating us a little too much," Ria said with a look of dissatisfaction.
"Eh? On the contrary Ria, I'm putting in my full effort here. I'm just waiting for the two of you to make me go all out. You both have the ability to, you're just not trying hard enough" Shun defended with a serious look on his face.
'Really, these two don't know what they have. Should Ria put in a little more thought she could dictate this entire fight. Hinami on the other hand could give me a run for my money if she really explored her Tenseigan more. While being in the Tenseigan Chakra Mode, Toneri could focus a tremendous amount of chakra into one of his Truth-Seeking Balls and use it to create a giant golden sword of pure chakra, capable of easily slicing the entire moon in half with a single swipe. He could also focus it into a single blast, capable of blowing away the crust of the Moon with ease. Now how could I not be taking this seriously' Shun thought while still paying attention to their every move.
"If you say so, then I think it's time for me to try out my new ability to its fullest," Ria said and then the dust and sand around us stilled once more before turning into different weapons.
