Chapter 26: Yomi's reward

"I did nothing out of the ordinary, lord Hokage and just like it was taught to us thought about the anatomy of a lion and this happened automatically," Kaida said, but he was thinking – oh, so just thinking about transforming like ben10 can bring such result, well let's keep it till myself for now, as I had already shown more than enough to make the village invest in us
Even after looking into Kaida's eyes, Hiruzen couldn't tell that Kaida was hiding something, since he was just a 6-year-old child what would he achieve by hiding it, he just thought that it was some special form of talent that Kaida possessed, after some time he said
"very good Kaida you too can go back to the academy, we will come there after some time to tell you guys about your result"
"thank you, lord hokage" Kaida spoke and then headed in the direction of the academy.
While Hiruzen turned toward kenji and asked
"what was decided for the student of the elite class for the 3rd and 4th part of the academy"
"Sir, it was decided that after learning basic jutsu in 2nd part they will learn elemental jutsu of their chakra affinities for 3rd part and work to get experience in one field of ninja after 4th part"
"hmm, exclude Kaida and Yomi from this plan, I will see about their future training," Hiruzen said
Kenji did not doubt this decision as he first hand saw the monstrous talent of both of them, learning all three of these jutsu in just two weeks was a feat in itself
However, he did not know that with talent the feat was possible due to the huge amount of hard work they had done in increasing their chakra control

They went back toward the academy too,
Kaida and Yomi were sitting in the training area, talking about the exam they had just given when they saw Kenji enter the training ground, he came toward them and said
"your exam is now over, go to the Hokage office there he will tell you about your result"
Both of them nodded respectfully and went toward Hokage's office, since Hiruzen was already expecting them, they did not have to wait and directly went toward his office
Knock knock
"come in"
"lord hokage" both of them greeted while bowing
He gestured for them to stand normally with a smile on his and said
"Both of your performances in exams were remarkable, so remarkable that I have decided that you guys have now graduated from Ninja Academy and will be genin from now on"
Kaida and Yomi became shocked after hearing this, as they had thought that they would still have some time before they would become genin seeing their confusion Hiruzen said
"of course, you guys will be learning the things you would have learned in the remaining time of the academy, I will tell you guys more about it in one week, now lets talk about the reward you guys want"
"the reward you promised us at the entrance exam?" Yomi asked
"oh! So you remember, yes I am talking about that reward, is there anything special you want to learn"
Yomi as if waiting for this opportunity, sprung up and said
"yes lord Hokage, actually Kaida has much more chakra than me, and due to this he can practice more, can you please tell me some ways to make my chakra reserve grow larger"
Hiruzen had an amused smile on his face last time he had checked both of them had more chakra than any academy student,
But need less to say Kaida do have almost double the amount the chakra than Yomi, Hiruzen nodded and then said
"Yomi do you know what is chakra"
"Chakra refers to the essential life force energy that exists within every living being in the world. It's depicted as a form of spiritual and physical energy that can be harnessed and manipulated by individuals with the appropriate training and abilities."
Yomi said the definition they were taught in the academy
"Just like you said chakra is a special energy that exists in everyone, and like you said it is made up of physical as well as spiritual energy
Since it is made up of two different types of energy, to grow the amount you have to increase both of this energy in your body,
As you guys already have quite good physiques, the aspect of physical energy is already complete but since chakra is made up of both of these energies,
you have to focus on increasing spiritual energy in your body, since chakra is formed by the equilibrium between these two" Hiruzen said trying to explain it simply
Yomi tilted her head and asked
"do we have to pray to increase our spiritual energy"
"hahaha, no Yomi shinobi don't believe in god, they just believe in themselves
Spiritual energy is related to the capabilities of your brain and its knowledge, so to increase your spiritual energy try to increase it
Trying to learn shogi may help in this as you will have to think of many strategies
Of course, some people try to increase their chakra reserve using special pills but they have a very bad effect on the body and they mainly stop the natural growth of the chakra reserve "
Yomi fell in deep thought for some time then after sorting out all the information Hiruzen had just given them, then bowed toward him and said

Hiruzen then shifted toward Kaida and said

Kaida fell into deep thought, he wanted many things at the moment and had not sorted out what he would ask from Hokage as he still had nearly 1 year before graduating from the academy
