Chapter 4: 4 - Yondaime Hokage's funeral and Sandaime's Resolve
In Hokage's Office:
Hiruzen Sarutobi, was having his pipe and contemplating all events have transcripted last few days. He is getting old. And its showing on its face.

"Minato, you should have at least give me 2 to 3 more years of retirement.

Homura: "What is status of borders?"

Danzo: "We should decide on new Hokage. I suggest, we should proceed with Orochimaru."
Hiruzen could clearly read the emotions on Danzo's face.
Hiruzen: "Let's decide on that at the meeting with the Daimyo. We need to discuss this situation with him, as we must redevelop and secure ourselves, and we require funds for that purpose."
He sees at dark of office and says "Call Shikaku and Medical Department leaders for briefs."
If normal person sees this he will thought, Old man has gone senile.

After half hour, Shikaku as Jounin commander and second authority of konoha, With Hospital director comes in office.
Third: "Lets here bad news and reports."
Shikaku: "We have quite a loss. About 100 jōnin. 500 Chūnin died. But our biggest loss are Fourth and his wife and Daiki Hiruma, and his whole family."
Hiruzen: "Samurai died huh."
Danzo: "Hiruzen, we don't have samurai in our midst."
Hiruzen: "You and i both know, why am i saying this. He was only kenjustsu specialist but still he can go toe to toe with Sakumo. And that's saying somethings."
Turning to Shikaku,
Hiruzen: "What about his Wife and Child?"
Shikaku: "We found Body of Daiki and Hisuna Hiruma or should i say Hyuga. But we couldn't found body of child."
All four elders got alerted.
Hiruzen: "What do you mean?"
Shikaku: "Actually there was record of him being dead, but after dispatching to hospital we couldn't found the body."
Hiruzen: "We should found his body. We can't show this type of disgrace to our shinobi's family."
Shikaku nods.
Danzo: "What happened to Hisuna Hyuga's body."
Shikaku: "Her body is being taken care by Hyuga family."
Shikaku knows what's happening in Danzo's mind. But he doesn't need to care about it.
Shikaku: "There many children who has become orphans. Exact number is 197. Many civilians died."
Hiruzen noded. Then turned to hospital director, Tessin Kuro.
Hiruzen: "Lets hear more bad things,"
Hiruzen knowing more bad news coming, still asked.
Tessin: "Many died on operating beds. Exactly, 60. Due to low numbers of beds, and low numbers of medical professionals."
Hiruzen can sense anger and knew reason but can't say anything against him as he know high officials are fault at here.
Hiruzen nods.
"73 has become cripple. 60 other's will heal in 3 weak. 15 will take around 4 to 5 months."
Hiruzen confirms it.
"Shikaku arrange for Yondaime's funeral for day after tomorrow, and call all jōnins for meeting at night of day after tomorrow, Notify Daimyo about fourth's death and arrange meeting with him."
Shikaku nods on that. He and Hospital director leaves the place.
Konoha's Funeral Grounds:
Funeral grounds of Konoha, this place contains many stories. As Sandaime stood there, He can't help but remember about Shodai and Nidaime Hokage, His teachers. But as number goes this should be his funeral instead of Yondaime. As they, Its said heart breaking for elders to give shoulders to coffins of their sons, juniors.
He has seen many faces, even talked with them as childern. Specifically, berserk Kushina, And calm Minato.
He can't help but remember all their conversations and movements.
As he looks around him, all jōnins, chūnins are their.
As he looks at them, can't help get vigor for taking care of his family again. Even if he died of over working he will take care of his family. His Konoha.
Now he faces memorial stones and images of all deceased in Nine tails attack.
"Minato.....Kushina..... You both gave your lives to protect Konohagakure no Sato... and its future. Thank you."
