Yours truly, am enjoying the shade, under a tree. It was break time and I didn't want to interact with the snotty kids right now.

No, I wasn't in a bad mood. More like, this daddy was in the best of moods. Huhuhuhu.

Welp, tomorrow was my birthday. And my mom promised to get me the thing I really wanted!!

"Hey Mitsu-kun, why are you lazing around like Shikamaru?" Before I could answer myself, a chubby little goliath came into my view.

I sighed seeing him. I wanted to shoo him away. But I stopped myself. Because I remembered what my mom said this morning.

~*Small Flashback No Jutsu*~

"Honebun, I don't know why you want a restaurant, and it's not even one that's popular. But if you want that for your birthday, then you better invite your friends for the party. I want to meet the friends you wanted to make so badly."

Said my mom very enthusiastically. Her focus was all on the friends I made...

She didn't even question me, who was only a kid and wanted to buy a whole restaurant…

'I mean, WOMAN DON'T YOU HAVE YOUR PRIORITIES WRONG? And not to mention your reasoning doesn't even make sense....'

But I kept the thoughts to myself... I made some excuse about liking a small birthday party with my family but…

She wouldn't budge on the friend's matter...

"B-but mom -" I wanted to protest,

"Yes, I would love to meet your little friends. Say, Honeybun, are there any cute girls among them? Do you have a crush on any?" My mom started giggling as she said that. As if this was the funniest and most interesting topic in the world.

I secretly rolled my eyes.

I just stood there and endured my mom's teasing… I didn't particularly mind it, till I remembered.

Wait a minute!

There were girls in the group… And they might have a crush on me?

Wait! Isn't this bad? Won't my mom get into her matchmaker mode?

Will I have to bear through an agonizing night of my mom trying to ask all the girls... if they were my girlfriends?

Wait, am I not too young for that? But this is the Ninja world... And the logic is all over the place so who knows,

I sighed as I thought all that.

'Well, I was not worried about Ino. I am sure she will have a blast….

But Hina-bunny will prolly faint because of my mother.

Sigh!!… What a drag…'

~*Flashback no Jutsu Loses Chakra*~

I sighed as I thought about the things my mom said.

She really knows how to jump into conclusions. Booo~

But I really can't seem to talk back to her. I wonder why that is?

I remember that,

In my previous life, my mother was always working and rarely spent time with me. I was alone most of the time, hence I developed much of my *ahem* 'habits'.

But this isn't that bad. I kinda like how she treats me. I never had this before, it's a new feeling, and I am liking it.

I smiled unknowingly as I earned a questioning gaze from the little goliath.

I glanced at him and said, "Hey Choji-koji, would you like to come to my house tomorrow? I will treat you to an all you can eat BBQ."

Choji was stunned for a moment. Then he shouted loud, "Of course I will come to your birthday party, Mitsu-kun!" That got the attention of many kids. But they didn't seem curious for some reason...

I nodded happily, but then realized. 'When did I say it was my birthday party?'

I wanted to ask the Munchlax, but he ran away happily saying, "See you tomorrow, Mitsu-kun. You better have enough meat!"

I was a bit surprised.

But I put it at the back of my head, as it didn't really matter. I then approached Shikamaru. Who cordially but a bit lazily accepted my invitation.

He also seemed to know that it was for my birthday.

Now I was a bit surprised. So I asked him, "Yo, lazy radish, do tell. How come you knew it was an invitation to my birthday celebration?"

The Nara seemed a bit surprised and before he could say anything, two blondies grabbed the back of my shirt and started dragging me away.

I wanted to shout at them, but they kept on giggling.

'These little rugrats were getting on my nerves… '

I could hear a female voice saying, "Good job, Naruto. Now we will have him to ourselves!"

The blonde furball then said, "I told you right? Leave it to me, dattebayo!"

Ino then said to me, "Don't worry Mitsu-sama, I have made sure to invite everyone to your birthday party tomorrow! So you don't have to go around asking them yourself!" She seemed proud of herself.

I was like… 'Wha? Huh? The heck? Why do I not know anything about this? How come the little blondes started inviting people on my stead? I mean, which son of a brisket even told them?'

*A raven haired Uchiha felt cold sweat on his back..*

I had an incredulous look on my face.

I screamed to the world as I was being dragged towards Ichiraku's "THE HEEEEEEEELLLLLL!"

The next day, around late afternoon

Daimyo's Mansion

Mitsu was greeting many individuals, as the birthday boy and the host of the party. Madam Shijimi was beside him wearing more jewelry than a jewelry showcase. Looking umm... spectacular..dazzling... Polished? Umm yeah lets go with that.

Mitsu appeared exemplary. Even as a six-year-old child, his manners were impeccable. The guests whether the clan heads or the other invitees, everyone greeted him with a sign of respect.

Mitsu's reputation had grown by leaps and bounds among the higher society. Since the incident a few months back.

But after hearing the situation, Madam Shijimi arrived to take care of her son, she was afraid that, something might have happened to him when she read the letter from the Hokage.

It's not every day, you hear your little boy was attacked at your own house. But the Hokage, the clan leaders and even Mitsu himself assured her that everything was alright now.

The attacker was a senile old traitor who barged in and attacked the Hokage. And he was publicly damned, and his helper was publicly executed. With all of their disgusting acts coming out in light.

She only calmed down, when she heard that the brave samurai who disposed of the traitor was a very loyal guard to her son.

The bravery of this Samurai was told in full all around the Fire country. A new legend has been created about the elder samurai that protects the prince.

The Hokage promised her that, the prince was safe and was well protected. Madam Shijimi didn't want to believe that at first, but after inspecting Mitsu and talking to the elder, she sighed and agreed.

But she increased the security around the mansion by a fold.

Well it was understandable and the Hokage complied without question.

But now~

The party was underway and after giving an opening speech, Mitsu took the children and left the main hall.

'Today I will tell Mitsu-sama about how I feel!

I am a bit embarrassed, but this is my best chance! Mitsu-sama has gotten more popular lately. And I don't know when another girl will confess to him.

I need to make my move first!'

As I thought about what to say. I looked around for Mitsu-sama, and found him in one corner talking with some of our classmates.

As I was approaching him. I saw Naruto rushed to him and pulled him away.

I frowned a bit and started following behind them.

'Don't tell me…. Does Na-naruto l-like Mitsu-s-sama too?'

[A/N: You have watched too many dramas little missie...]

I had a horrifying thought. But then I slapped my cheeks and told myself, it was impossible.

But I was still anxious, and so I trailed them.

I then saw Naruto stopping and embarrassedly looking down, while a confused Mitsu-sama was looking at him.

I hid behind one of the pillars and tried to eavesdrop. My heart was beating fast. I really have no idea about what will happen. But I crossed my fingers and hoped Naruto won't say anything stupid.

Because if he does…

I WILL BURY HIM ALIVE. Grrr…

But then I heard Mitsu-sama's voice…

"Oi, furball, do tell me the reason for dragging me here. If people didn't know any better. They would think you are trying to confess." Mitsu-sama had an over exaggerated expression as he said that. With his hands hiding his body.

Acting as if he was protecting himself from a pervert.

I giggled as I witnessed the scene.

Naruto got even more embarrassed and shouted, "Mitsu-deme, who wants to confess to your stupid face? You are too ugly for me to like you."

I really wanted to hit the blonde bastard right then. But I heard Mitsu-sama's chuckle. As he said.

"Good, because this handsome young master is only into girls. Now out with it, furball. Why did you bring me here? Is it a present for me?"

Naruto seemed a bit out of it. As he bit on his lower lip and lowered his head. But after a moment he nodded.

Mitsu-sama said, "Then out with it. I wanna see what the great prankster of Konoha has gotten for me!"

Naruto fidgeted around a bit but then gave Mitsu a paper card…

I was confused but then I heard him talking, "M-mitsu… I didn't have enough pocket money to buy anything good. But umm, this is your birthday…

And I know friends give each other gifts on their birthdays… I didn't know what to give, as I never received a proper gift before…

So… ummm... Here is a handmade coupon from me, for your special day! It's a onetime use Ichiraku's ramen coupon! I had the old man make it for me.. So, when ever you are hungry… Umm, please use it to eat ramen. It's my best gift to you, dattebayo!"

Naruto then smiled brightly like the star. I felt a bit weird that he gave such a gift but…

'Why do I feel so sad?'

I looked at Mitsu-sama who seemed calm as he received the gift, but he didn't say anything for a long time…

I thought that maybe the gift was too beneath the prince, but I was wrong.

Mitsu-sama smiled, and said, "Furball, I know how important ramen is to you. So you giving me this, says a lot.

So listen, you bastard!

From now on, I want you to work hard . I want you to get super strong, and serve my country properly!

I will not let an idiot sit on the chair of Hokage. So you better start listening in class from now.

And the day I inaugurate you as the Hokage for being the best candidate to protect my country, and not this dumb-ass you are now!

I will cash in this coupon! To celebrate. So if you want me to ever use this. Then you better complete my command like a good little furball you are! Go train, get strong, become acknowledged, so you can be the Hokage."

Naruto was stunned as he heard the prince, I was stunned too.

'Does he believe, Naruto can become the Hokage?' I thought. Even I felt these words were just to jest.

But the smile on Mitsu-sama's face betrayed my thoughts… He left a stunned Naruto and turned around.

I then saw him come near me and stopped right in front of my hiding place. I was surprised and wanted to run away, but he held my arm.

He whispered, "It's not nice to eavesdrop, you know… So Ino, what can I do for you?"

I blushed and looked at him. I lost all my courage to say what I wanted to say. So….

"Mitsu-sama, happy birthday! This is a specially grown orchid from my garden. I hope you will like this gift."

I gave him the gift and smiled. The orchid held a special meaning. But I didn't bother to tell him.

I knew, tonight wasn't the right time to confess. I don't know many things and many sides of Mitsu-sama.

I will watch him more and tell him how I feel once we are closer..

I smiled at him again and ran back before he could say anything.

At the end of the party~

The party was over and all the civilian kids have already left. We few of the clan heirs and heiresses are still here chatting, as our parents were discussing some matters with Madam Shijimi and the elder Samurai.

Sasuke-kun was back to normal. He still avoided Mitsu-sama, but he would answer questions when he is asked.

As for Mitsu-sama…. I wanted to give him my present, but I was too shy to even approach him…

I am such a failure…

I was down. I felt depressed. I was also a bit jealous to see all the others giving him their presents and Mitsu sama smiling happily as he accepted them.

I didn't know what to do. Until.

"Say Hinata, I had something to show you. Can you come with me?"

I heard the voice of Mitsu-sama. I was feeling too shy to reply, but he simply pulled me by my hand.

'Ahhh! So embarrassing!'

I was sure my face was all red.. But I complied and followed him silently. The others were looking at us, but Mitsu-sama didn't seem to care.

I peeked at him and was met with the familiar back. I always see this sight when he trains. It was so close to me right now. I could touch it if I wanted to.

But it still felt so far, far away.

I kept contemplating. And before I knew it,

We arrived in front of a room. And Mitsu-sama told me to wait outside.

[A/N: No, you dirty larries, they are still kids!!! Those things will be later when they are teens at least gawwwd!]

I was curious to know what Mitsu-sama was upto.

But my wait wasn't long. As Mitsu-sama, came out with a book in his hand. He handed it to me with a smile and said,

"After you gave me the pressed flowers. I kinda found them enjoyable. So I made some on my own. But I really don't know how to preserve them properly, so I will give them to you, Hinata."

I giggle.

I felt like this scene was familiar.

Yes, it was. It was the same on my birthday! That time, I gave him a present first. And now on his birthday.. He is giving me one…. What a coincidence!~

And it is the same present too.

I blushed.

I said, "Mitsu-sama, thank you for this gift. I will take good care of it. And I have a gift for you too!"

Mitsu-sama was looking at me with wide eyes. I was even more embarrassed now. 'Aw, is there something on my face? Do I look bad?'

And before I could panic more… Mitsu-sama smiled and said, "Hina, you didn't stutter. Congratulations."

"E-eh? Etto~ Um-umm Mi-mitsusama-" I was confused and blushing, I felt like I was going to faint.

But I heard Mitsu-sama's giggle again. "Well, looks like I spoke too soon. So do tell, Hina, what do you have for me."

'He called me Hina again… I like it…'

I smiled and gave him the present I prepared for him. It was a Jacket I ordered. It was a black windbreaker with the symbol of Fire embedded on the back.

I knew he liked the color black and wore those long windbreakers when he came to the academy. So I found a good store and got one made.

I really hope he likes it…

I watched him take the jacket and look at me with a gentle smile. I was mesmerized by his golden eyes. He never showed this smile before.

I kept staring at him…

I don't know how much time has passed, but I was only brought back to reality. When he said, "Thank you Hina. The jacket is beautiful and to my preference. I love the gift!"

I smiled and lowered my head. Hearing his complement felt nice. My heart was beating fast and my stomach felt weird.

I started playing with my side hair that has grown recently. I was trying to hide my face with them. When I heard him saying something casually, "Hmm? You have grown your hair a bit? It looks good on you. You should let your hair grow. It will look cuter."

He said while nodding to himself and smiled. I was stunned when I heard him say that....

'Long hair...cute..'

That is the last thing I remember before I fainted....

[A/N: Hello frens, Sorry for the late chapter! As I told the last time, I had some personal things to take care of. And I am happy to say that my grandmother had a successful surgery and now back at home! She will have to wear sunglasses like a badass for 21 days but. Who doesnt? Am I right!
