Chapter 4: Chapter-4 : Money Flex
As Hinata said it would take some time in completing the formalities of the mission and accepting the new mission he had for her, Hiro went out of the Hokage tower alone as he wandered towards one of dozens of markets in Konoha.
He wandered aimlessly as he walked through the long streets, he sighed 'I wish there was a bicycle here....wait why didn't I think of it!!'
Transportation business was just as lucrative in this world, while large goods up to a limit could be sealed and carried through scrolls, same could not be said for people, plus sealing arts did not come cheap, each seal could be worth tens of thousands and could only be used a few times before becoming useless.
And why stay limited till there, if he can do that, he can open delivery services in konoha. he could start by delivering food then slowly incorporate the delivery system in the lives of people and then take advantage of it.
He would become even richer.
He could be the next Amazon on this world.
Feeling the flame reignited, Hiro went towards a Stationary ship and brought multitude of drafting equipments, papers, inks, paints and many more things.
Since the shop owner has a son also working in the shop, Hiro just asked the stuff to be delivered to his mansion for which he paid an extra 1000 Ryo.
Feeling good about his new train of thoughts and how frequently 'new' ideas popped up in his mind, Hiro ventured into an unknown path as he suddenly stopped.
A sweet and Mellow floral scent came from the entire area as he turned his head around to see that he was near the Yamanaka district with their signature flower shops still open.
Curiosity killed the cat, he wandered into biggest shop as he saw a familiar looking girl platinum blonde hair sitting at the reception desk with a boring expression on her face as she scribbled onto a paper.
looked like she was trying to solve some question.
Just as the door started closing, it chimed in a melody as she raised her head to see someone step into the shop.
"Hiro ??" Ino said with a surprised face.
"Ino ?? You never told me you worked at a flower shop...." Hiro also acted surprised, altough he knew the fact, he never expected to see her here.
"Yeah, my family kind of runs the business and dad had some work to complete so I'm here today instead" Ino said with awkwardness as she changed the topic "So, how come you are here today?"
From her previous interactions with him, they have already become friends, and with the amount of money he paid for each mission, she only viewed him in a favoured light.
they were still formal friends, but recently Hiro had been getting different ideas about that.
"Nothing, just wandered here, the scent of flowers was just too good to resist, so I came in here to buy some, imagine the surprise when I saw you" Hiro said as he spoke truthfully, he did not expect her to be here.
"So what can I do for you today?" Ino asked with a smile on her face, suddenly her charm increased even more as her curves and features became more apparent from her casual purple wearing.
'Is she trying to seduce me?? Nah. Maybe trying to sell more flowers, who knows' Hiro thought as he mentally shrugged, but still didn't miss the chance to hit on her.
"You know, each time I look at you it's like you turn even more beautiful, tell me, which flower is responsible for that?"
A light blush came onto her face as she listened to his praises and replied "Come on Hiro kun, you know it's not flowers, but if you are looking into a beautiful flower, I am....have one"
Not clearly hearing the end part, Hiro looked around the shop as Ino introduced him to many varieties of Chakra flowers to overcome the awkwardness that she almost created.
Talking of flowers and plants, there were types that increase Chakra concentration in the air, ones that glow in the night and look absolutely stunning, those which give of a sweet smell, those that can improve health if one stays near it and many more.
Hiro continued to tease her in between through his comments and acted oblivious, he didn't get chances like this to properly ""flirt"" with her on the Missions before, their interaction there was limited.
After half an hour of tour through different kinds of flowers and flower beds, she finally asked him "So Hiro kun, which flowers would you like to take home?"
"All of them"
'Huh??'
Ino did not register what he just said
"I said I want all of them, to be precise I want every kind to be planted in and around my mansion. Alot of them"
"I...m..th....that's alot of money Hiro kun"
"Don't worry Ino, it isn't like I'm poor, how much will it cost, a million? I can pay it now if you want...." Hiro said as he took out a few bank bonds out from his inner pocket, the bonds had golden edges made of real gold with a promissory credit of 100 000 Ryo each.
Ino could not believe her eyes, she had known Ryo was rich, if you compare to normal shinobi standards, even she was quite rich and extravagant, but she had never seen such an outward display of wealth.
"W..well I won't know until I see how much area you want covered, but it won't take more than 500k." Ino said looking unsure, even 500k would be too much.
"No Big deal, say, are you free tomorrow??" Hiro asked while showing a pondering look on his face.
"Yes..." Ino said.
"That's perfect!, you can come to my mansion tomorrow to get the measurements." Hiro said as he 'invited' her.
She couldn't exactly say no, not only because of such a huge money opportunity for the clan, but also for herself. And it wasn't like she wasn't curious about Hiro, they had gone together on multiple Missions and each time she would learn something new and interesting about him, she had grown curious about Hiro.
She actually looked forward to meeting him at his home tomorrow.
Hiro said his greetings and went back to his work after a few more minutes.
Leaving Ino alone standing there, questioning if what she just experienced was real or not.
