Chapter 8: Cinnamon Rolls! [8]
'Naruto must of met Hinata at this point of time to listen to his talk no jutsu, trully a dangerous guy to be enemies with, it would be even worse if he was a cold blooded killer.'
I think to myself shivering at the thought of a serious Naruto.
Remembering that I got myself a dat-, friend to go and eat with. With that thought I started to walk forwards with her following closely.
"My names Raiden! Sorry for not telling you earlier, it was quite worried seeing bleeding."
Hinata hearing this starts to fiddle with her fingers and look down. Trying to get her to talk I start by remembering her favourite food.
'From what I've seen in the anime she seems to like Cinnamon rolls.'
"Do you know any food stalls with anything sweet? My sweet tooth is acting up." I say in a complaint.
"Well I know a place that sells Cinnamon rolls, my mother showed me where it was but I'm not sure if I can find it again." she says nervously.
"Don't worry you can take as long as you need, we aren't in a hurry after all! Besides my belly of course." I say making her giggle.
Getting a sudden idea, I put it into action.
'Hehe.'
Looking at the cute Hyuga thinking really hard on where the shop is, I get closer to her and hold her hand.
"Eeee!" She squeals at my touch.
"This is so we don't lose each other, Konoha is a bustling place after all." I explain making her coyly nod while she starts to walk.
After a few minutes Hinata and I make out way out of the shinobi section of the village and make it to a small street with multiple houses having stalls outside of them selling all types of things.
This ranges from foods, clothes, toys and much more.
Hinata now used to my company and hand holding starts to tap my shoulder.
"Right there." She says quietly pointing her tiny little fingers at a particular stall with a couple of seats with a few of them taken up.
Smiling I nod and start to pull my wallet out.
I have saved quite a lot of money not usual for a child but my clan is full of merchants. I currently have 900,000 and I should be able to buy food to my hearts content for Hinata and myself.
Hinata looking at the wallet widens her eyes.
"You brought a lot of money with you."
"I've saved up a little amount of money and have never left the compound so I couldn't really use it." I said sheepishly scratching the back of my head.
Walking up to the stall we get greeted by a woman that looks to be in her 30s.
"Well what do we have here? Has little Hinata already found herself a husband." She says teasingly making Hinata release steam from the top of her head blushing.
Still holding her hand I start to tap her shoulder to take a seat with me. Hinata regaining herself from her embarrassment, takes a seat with me next to her.
"Hello m'am how much does a single red bean bun and a single cinnamon roll cost?" I ask excitedly as I want to eat now.
"Hello Shimura-sama we are selling red bean buns for 850 ryo each and for cinnanom rolls we are selling a dozen for 11,400 ryo." She says with a smile I remember perfecting when I was young back in my old life at Coles.
"I'll take a dozen cinnamon rolls and two red bean buns please!" Hearing my order, the woman quickly gets to work after getting the ryo I put on the table.
'She must of recognised my clan symbol.' I think to myself.
"Hinata we both get one red bean bun and then we share the dozen cinnamon rolls, ok?" I tell her.
The cute little Hinata with stars in her eyes, nods in a cute way making me wince inwardly.
'I cant withstand this cuteness brother. Help!' I say imagining myself clutching my chest exaggeratedly.
"Hinata you seem to be having a rough time in your compound, if you ever need help just tell me." I say this sincerely.
Hinata hearing this starts to fiddle with her fingers looking down while blushing.
"Well I'm strug-"
Before she could finish her sentence though, the woman with the food arrives and gives us the food.
Hinata and I taking a red bean bun each we start to dig in. While this is happening I start to sense the same chakra that has been trailing us before.
Not wanting to ruin Hinata's good mood I start to ignore the chakra I assume to be Ko Hyuga's as he is her bodyguard in canon. Walking through the streets slowly while eating some of the cinnamon rolls with Hinata making cute faces, I started to talk to her about some of our experiences untill we were almost at the Hyuga compound.
"Hey Hinata." I say seeing her getting nervous.
"Yeah?"
"Wanna be friends?" I ask.
Hinata not expecting that question starts to fiddle with her fingers.
--POV Hinata--
Running outside the compound I start to cry as my wound starts to bleed.
'It hurts.' I silently cry to myself.
A few minutes pass as I start to remember the events up to this point. I didn't want to hurt cousin Neji so I held back but he didn't.
Spending a few minutes in the cold snow feeling my wound get colder, I hear a voice.
"Hey are you okay." I hear the voice say out loud.
Getting nervous I started to squirm around.
'Is it Ko? I don't want to go back there.'
Continuing to ignore the voice I suddenly felt a soft piece of cloth wrap around my wound. After a while the guy who called out to me tied the cloth to my knee and he asked if I was okay which was new to me.
Surprised by the question I responded.
"I'm fine."
'He's a very nice person.' I say to myself getting a warm feeling in my chest.
-2 hours later-
Now walking back with the same kid who helped me who was injured, I was currently holding a cinnamon bun than he bought just for me!
Hes so nice!
He's friendly and likes red bean buns, just like me!
A few minutes a way from the Hyuga compound now I start to get nervous as I'm not sure what papa will say about me hanging out with Raiden.
"Hey Hinata." I hear him say.
"Yeah?"
"Wanna be friends?"
Hearing this my mind goes blank making me stop walking.
Mustering up the biggest smile I can with my eyes getting watery I respond.
"Okay!" I say while giving the biggest smile I've ever done.
--POV Kakashi--
'If they were older this could've been the scene in icha-icha three where after the confession scene they get into some spicy stuff.' I think to myself scratching my nose through my mask.
'heh.'
