Chapter 36: KonoBurger Goes BIG! (Check Comments)
As they ran to the Civilian Technology Research Facility, Naruto grumbled while feeling very dissatisfied.
"Why are you grumbling, Naruto? I need you to be in tip-top shape." Yasui turned to Naruto and asked.
"It's just that everyone on the team has that Sharingan while I don't," Naruto said, feeling a little left out. His sensei had it, and even two of his teammates have Sharingans of their own!
"You shouldn't feel jealous, Naruto." Yasui arrived in front of a warehouse.
Kosuke was already standing in front of the warehouse with a key. Yasui had informed him with one of his clones that he would be coming, so he came ahead and waited for his little boss.
He didn't mind working under such a boss. After he was hired, Yasui revealed himself as a juvenile, and many of the scientists hesitated about staying in the company. However, they were awed by his way of thinking, and they all stayed due to the good conditions in addition to their respect for him.
"Why not?" Naruto wondered while Yasui received the key from Kosuke.
"It's because you have something amazing too. It's even something that I am jealous of." Yasui elaborated and stuck the key into the keyhole.
"Jealous? I have something that you're jealous of?" Naruto asked as he watched Yausi open the warehouse door.
"Yes. It's your massive chakra reserve! Don't you know that the number of shadow clones you make is simply absurd!? I can only make five at max! Others our age might not even have as much chakra as I do." Yasui pushed the door open.
In front of Yasui and Nartuo, a warehouse filled with neat cooking stations appeared. Approximately one hundred stations were laid out across the whole warehouse. It's stocked with all the equipment that a modern chef would need.
On one side of the warehouse, a massive array of ingredients were stored in a large refrigerator with artificial cooling sticks around them. Most of the ingredients here were things that are needed to make hamburgers. Yasui planned to make this place a food research area in the future, but since he wasn't at that stage yet, he was using it to train his restaurant employees while the restaurant was being built.
"Woahhh! Then doesn't that mean that I am a pretty unique ninja!?" Naruto's eyes gleamed after Yasui admitted his jealousy. He also took a look around the pristine warehouse.
"Yup!! And to master your strengths, you have to practice using them! That's why you're going to use your shadow clones to help me make hamburgers! After you help me, I will tell you about a secret of the Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Yasui played Naruto into being his slave for the day.
It's true, though. He is going to tell Naruto about the cheating ability of the Shadow clone. He wondered if this will help spike up Naruto's abilities in the future.
"Okay! You better keep your promise, Yasui!" Naruto made a hand sign and got ready to make shadow clones.
"Wait! Naruto! Let me teach you how to make the hamburger first." Yasui stopped Naruto.
Shadow clones can send information back to the main body. Similarly, Naruto can also copy information to his shadow clones. However, the condition is that Naruto must already have the knowledge in his brain before making the clones…

Ino and Tachibana walked around the festive district while trying out all sorts of food. Although they were love rivals, they had come to a truce today to support Yasui's restaurant.
With all of the promotions that he was giving out, they had already become aware that their cool Yasui had already opened a restaurant. If this endeavor of his shoots off into the sky, his attractiveness will just soar even higher.
Who says that a girl isn't attracted to a man who is capable of making money? It's okay if he isn't capable, but it's even better if he is. It makes him cooler too!
But their plan to support the business went down the drain shortly after they arrived. They saw a long line that seemed to be unending. This totally destroyed their plan of eating Yasui's food.
Of course, they were happy about Yasui's success. They just found it a pity they won't be able to eat it yet.
"Huh? Isn't that Naruto?" Ino looked up into the sky and saw an orange boy with yellow hair.
Tachibana also looked up and confirmed that Ino wasn't losing her mind. It's just that this next scene shocked her to her core.
"YA!!! NARUTO UZUMAKI, HERE TO SAVE THE DAY!"
"I BRING FREE KONOBURGERS FOR EVERYONE!!"
"IT'S ALL FREE! BELIEVE IT!"
Suddenly, hundreds of Narutos were seen jumping from the roofs onto the district, and they started to distribute fresh and warm hamburgers!
"Isn't that the kid?" A civilian lady from the crowd looked at Naruto, fear emerging from her eyes.
"But mom! He's giving out free KONO BURGERS! I want one! Please!! Let me go get one from him?? Pleasee?" The little girl next to the civilian lady pleaded.
All of her friends had come early, and they had already eaten the Kono Burger. They said that it was extremely delicious and juicy.
"...Fine." The civilian lady allowed her little girl to go get a free Kono Burger from Naruto. She's still afraid, but that boy is working for a reputable restaurant. So it should be fine for her little girl to at least get the free burger, right? This will save her some money too.
"Yay! Yay!" The little girl happily cheered and ran to Naruto, holding her hand out for a burger.
"Hehe! Here you go!" Naruto's shadow clone happily chuckled and handed his last burger to the little girl. This was the first time that kids approached him without fear in their eyes. It made him feel… kinda warm on the inside.
"Thank you, onii-san!" The little girl bowed and she eagerly took a big bite after unwrapping the Kono Burger. The juicy, savory flavors of the burger immediately filled her mouth. She exclaimed that it was the best food she had ever tasted.
Everyone else who also received the free burger agreed that the Kono Burger was an amazing meal.
"Alright, everyone! Stay here for a bit longer! I will be sending more burgers soon! I am KONO BURGER's Delivery boy–NARUTO UZUMAKI! Believe it!" Naruto made a salute to everyone and his shadow clone turned into smoke, sending the warm memories back to his main body.
The people in the line were a little ticked when they saw this scene happening. They're waiting in line to pay while some people on the streets are getting free food. They wanted to leave right away due to the unfair treatment.
But they suddenly halted due to a beautiful voice.
"Due to the long line, we will not be taking any more money to make the pace go faster! Everyone who wants KONO BURGERS will receive one for free! We will also include one cold Vanilla Ice Cream, and we will also include a cold cup of Kono Juice–the carbonated drink!" Katsumi also came out of the fast food restaurant and announced to all of the customers that were standing in line.
This was Yasui's plan to further make their brand well known. Even more FREE food? Who doesn't like free food, especially when it's delicious?!
Seeing that they were not in the line for naught, the people once again stayed where they were.
Plus, it's not like they were really forgotten.
When the Kono delivery boy Naruto Uzumaki comes, they can receive a free burger even if they are still in line. They just had to ask politely.
In the near future, today marked the day of an especially big establishment inside of Konoha. It's also a very important day for Naruto because, for the first time, he managed to receive many smiles from the villagers.
