Volcano Island
Its an island apart of the land of lightning, south of the mainland
The island got its name from the huge volcano in the center of the island, which has been dormant for many years
Unlike the mainland which had a lot of mountains, the island didn't have any. Because of the surrounding water, the island has beaches and the volcano helped produce a number of Hotspring
Beaches, wildlife, hot spring, and countless resorts have turned the island into a tourist attraction in the shinobi world. It was a nice place to relax at any time of the year. The climate and beaches made it a great place in the summer
Sadly this island has been the center of conflict between 2 of the major shinobi countries for years
The land of water is a country made up of numerous islands. Since the country was created many years ago, the water country has always considered volcano island as a part of their country, but the land of lightning had other plans
The island was too close to the mainland and if the water country owned it then they would have a huge military advantage
Around that time, the hidden villages weren't created yet and the Land of Water was crowded with ninja clans, the lightning country was afraid that one day they would invade and decided to shamelessly claim the island as their own
This angered the land of water and after several disputes regarding ownership, wars over the country began. At first, the ownership over the island was balanced but after the founding of the hidden villages things changed
Kumo increased the military strength of the land of lightning exponentially because they had the advantage of the island sitting in their backyard
Volcano island was taken over
Technincally speaking the island is a part of the land of lighting but the water country refuses to give it up. Kumo established a huge base on the island for support and because of distance Kiri couldn't give the island a lot of support
Over time the world has already acknowledged that the lightning country owns the island and gets all the benefits

It's been 2 days since team 11 started their mission
After leaving the village they traveled all the way to the coast to board a ship then traveled to Volcano island
They rest a bit and continued their journey to the village near the lightning-water border
Because of the village's distance, they had to take a passing carriage to go there
After another day of travel, they were now close to the village and would arrive soon
In a carriage was team 11 wearing robes
It wasn't a secret mission but it was an investigation one, they didn't want the people that were involved in the missing person incident to run away before they even start investigating
Kazuto looked outside the carriage window and looked at the passing scenery, his face was expressionless as usual but his eyes were full of curiosity. Since coming to the naruto world, he has only stayed in Kumo and never left the village so he didn't know a lot about what's beyond the walls
He would observe everything from the environment. to the people, to the culture. The naruto world was a very beautiful place, some places were even livelier than the village with made him understand how different the village and the outside world was
Turing his head kazuto looked at his teacher, who was asleep and had his hand crossed over, then to his teammates who were looking through the window like him
Suddenly the carriage came to a stop
"Why did we stop"
A asked while trying to see the situation outside
"It bandits"
Darui who was sleeping slowly opened his eyes and spoke
Kazuto looked out the window and saw 3 figures from how they dressed and look he could confirm that they were indeed bandits
"My guest you don't need to worry just listen to them and everything will be solved"
The coach turned around and spoke to Kazuto and the other with an assuring look, it wasn't the first time has happened so he knew how to handle the current situation
"Everyone get out and bring out all your valuables"
A hoarse voice rang from outside
Darui signal them to exit
The bandits looked very ordinary they looked like you would forget what they look like a minute after stopping looking at them, true background characters
"You guys dispose of them"
Darui saw their appearance and lost all interest and went back inside
"You there I told you to come out where are you going"
The man who was probably their leader shouted at Darui and stepped forward before Kazuto and the other blocked his way
"Hey kids get out of my way before I make you go back to your mamas crying"
"You guys take the other 2 I'll take this one"
Kazuto ignored what the background character had to say and ordered A and Mabui to attack
This was an easy task for them these men didn't know how to use chakra and hadn't received any professional training
A wasted no time and hit the bandit on the left with a heavy punch sending the man flying
'So weak'
Seeing what happened to his comrade the other 2 looked at Kazuto and Mabui seriously
These kids were more dangerous than they thought
Mabui threw 2 sebon that strked her opponent's acupnture points. The man's body immediately became tensed, he could move his body and Mabui knocked him out
Kazuto looked at the leader he was very tall and big. The leader was throwing a lot of punches with his big hand which Kazuto dodged with ease, he then sent a palm strike to the man's jaw, the palm strike was too much for an ordinary person like him and he was knocked out
Not even breaking a sweat team 11 took down the bandits
"Well that was a waste of time"
A put his hand behind his head and look at the bandits with boredom
Darui exited the carriage and ordered them to tie them to a tree
Using some water to wake them up they performed a small interrogation, they were doing an investigation so any information was valuable
After getting some information that was a bit useful Darui looked at his disciples, his lazy eyes turned cold
"You guys still haven't completed the task I gave you"
Team 11 looked at Darui strangely. They defeated the bandits and they got some information so they should be complete right?
Seeming to read their minds Darui didn't beat around the bush and told them straight
"I said to dispose of them not dismantle them"
Understanding what Darui meant team 11 looked at each other
Dispose of them? does that mean kill
"I will give you 30 minutes make it quick"
Darui didn't heed his student's look and walked toward the carriage to wait on them
'I'm sorry my little disciples but this world is not kind, you need to jump over this hurdle first before you can call yourself a shinobi"
Kazuto and the others were silent at this moment. They knew they would have to do it eventually but never expect it to be now
Kazuto was hit the hardest even though he knew how dangerous it would be if you don't properly take care of your enemies, but he was still facing a challenge
Living in a world shackled by laws and morals, being taught what was good and bad at a young age, growing up knowing how murdering someone could cause a lot of pain and suffering
He has only lived in the naruto world for 7 years now but it was not enough for him to disregard his 20+ years of life experience
After 10 minutes Kazuto took out a kunai and walk to the big guy who was tied to a tree
"Hey kid please don't do this, I have a wife and 3 kids, the youngest is just 2 months old imagine her life without a father"
The man face was miserable, he was trying his best to survive at this moment
Kzuto's hands trembled bit
He knew he was lying, he knew what he was trying to do, but still
'No, if i can't even do this then how will my dreams of surviving become a reality'
His eyes flashed with determination and he slowly put the kunai to the man's neck
"I will make it quick"

Blood
Blood stained his hands he looked down at his hand that was covered in blood and looked at his lifeless body
he didn't feel the need to puke or did he feel sad
He just felt
Empty
'So easy'
'He died so easy'
'Just a cut to the neck and he's gone, dead'
'He died because he was weak, I don't want to be weak'
'I don't want to die, I don't want to be in such a miserable situation where I have to beg for my life'
'I need to get stronger, yes that's it, if I'm strong then who will be able to kill me'
'This is just the first of many, the bloodshed I will cause along my path will be able to fill the bath and soon the sea'
'I will sit on a throne lifted by corpses if I want to survive sacrifices have to be made'
After taking a minute to self-hypnotize himself, Kazuto washed his hands and walked back to the carriage silently
Soon after A and Mabui returned
The carriage ride was quiet everyone was having their own internal battle at the moment
'They seem to be doing better than I thought'
Darui who was pretending to sleep looked at them from the corner of his eyes
'Don't worry kids it gets easy'
The carriage continued moving, ending this short but impactful episode
