Chapter 8: Survival of the Fittest - part 2
It was only 9:00 pm in the night when I come out of my thoughts. Since there was still some time for me to sleep so I removed the fangs I've collected in the morning. They were large enough to make into dagger. I removed 6 out of 20 fangs. I started using wind manipulation, they were harder to cut hence were stronger than iron. Around 11 pm they were sharp enough to cut through any animal's hide. I fell asleep beside my new fluffy buddy.
The journey continued in the morning for the next few days I attacked many animals. I was able to defeat everyone. On 15th day while sleeping peacefully in night a snake started slithering towards me. My danger sense warned me I was ready the second he lunged towards me. I and Hogen jumped towards left Hogen has unlocked his chakra and was also quite fast. He had grown up a inch or two with proper amount of food. I take my dagger and see towards snake my mouth hung open I tried saying something but I couldn't.
T-th-the s-snake was enormous. It was around 60-65 feet long and a meter wide. The place where he had bitten was melting like that thing out came out of its mouth was acid not poison. I gulped it was the biggest one so far. I harden my resolve flowed wind chakra through dagger and jumped towards snake while shouting and saying Hogen to hide he was first hesitant but then complicated.my dagger tried cutting through its scale but it didn't even put a scratch my eyes widen as it lashed out its tail and swatted me away like a bug. I skitted to a hault. I put my dagger back in the seal, since wind chakra through dagger wasn't working I chenched my fist fire and some ocational sparks of lightning dancing on my fist. I deactivated the gravity and resistance seal. I rushed towards it in blinding speed. The speed was good even close to the Lee without weights in chunin exam but I needed strength.
so I focused slowly small amount of Yin and large amount of Yang chakra too gathered in the storm of fire and lighting. It formed a shape of dragon on each hand. The dragon was made up of fire with its insides being made up of lightning. I jumped with all my might and punched the snake on the head its head slammed on a tree it hissed in pain the lighting wasn't ready yet to open dragon's mouth hence it only leave burn mark. I started a barrage of punches my chakra level was decreasing but I keep the barrage going. The lighting was ready the dragon's on my both hands roared in fury the mouth of dragon opened the lighting charged and then in one last punch the lighting pierced through the almost burn skull of the snake. The snake died.
I started removing anything I can remove from him. Its fangs were a feet and half long I removed both of them. Scales harder than steel were also removed. The poison sac was removed and secured safely. The sac was quite giant containing nearly 10 litres of poison. I found a chakra core inside the snake it was in crystal form. I was able to sense 1.5 times more chakra than myself. And my reserves were at low jounin level even higher than Naruto. It was something I wasn't able to digest but it was higher, maybe in future when he will start to train he will surpass me or even leave me in dust.
For now I eyed the core I had read about them in books they were quite rare and can only be found in the beast older than 10 years. This core can be absorbed and they will increase your chakra reserves with the amount they contain along with stacking up density of our chakra. This core can only be found in a beasts who never used their chakra. After the core is used the small ball shaped crystal is left which one can use in weapon's but finding a crystal is like finding a needle in a sea. Hence, now a days it is said to be a myth since crystal despite being small can hold chakra at elite jounin level and can expand with time.
It is said the Samahada is made using three tails chakra and crystal... Putting all unwanted thoughts out of my head I started to absorbe while wishing to find the crystal the football size crystal starter to shrink with every minute my chakra reserves had been refilled while I was in thought in meditative state. A slight pain was felt by me in my stomach but I still keep absorbing it was of no particular nature hence it was this dense. It took around two hour when I couldn't absorbe anymore I thought I reached my limit to absorbe and put large marble size core back in my seal I slowly guided chakra towards my stomach and then through my whole body.
A scream of pain left my mouth. I was feeling like my body was being destroyed from inside out. I screamed for few minutes rolling on ground in agony. I was just about to loose my consciousness. A million thoughts went through my mind. My thoughts were "am I going to die here in a place where I was supposed to train to become strong"
"Am I going to be killed due to some dead snake"
I haven't even told Meo that I have feelings for her, I haven't saved even a single person I wanted to save in this world like Haku, Zabuza, Fu, and others. Haku was a kind soul never wishing bad for anyone. Zabuza had a change of heart in end and loved Haku as his daughter. Fu was a lonely soul it was also rumoured that she just surrendered when Akatsuki came for her. It was due to not having any will to live since no one loved her, on one wanted her she had no friends, no family no one who would have cried for her, missed her. I wanted to become her friend and tell her that she have a friend who cares for her since no one deserves to be alone.

Few tears came out of my eyes. If I will die here these people will suffer and even my dreams will be left undone. I was filled with sorrow and misery. Even if I survive I am just a single person even I can't save world I have only a single friend who is what just a young fox. Tears flowed down my face thinking about my only friend Hogen he was young and could get in trouble he could die. Thinking about him something snapped inside me as I screamed to the heaven's "I-I want to live.....".
