Chapter 18: Damn Exams.
It was a good day, lying in his bed he bought three months ago...
three months ago?
(Holy shit, the Chunin Exams).
He shot up from the bed, and started putting on his clothes, he had a few things to do before the exams.
putting on his ANBU style pants, Sandals, and his black muscle shirt.
taking out his new Gloves he upgraded to hold more equipment, he pulls them on his hands.
[...What's the Rush Kit?].
Kyuubi woke up, and seemed very confused about the situation, Naruto wasn't like this in the mornings... he wasn't a morning person at all.
(I got the Gunbai to pick up, and the new Katana and the Chunin exams will start soon, I don't know what will happen but I just want to be ready).
he explained as he got out of his house and out in the street, heading towards the weapons shop.
(I still decided to move in early).
he mentally noted, while turning the corner, avoiding a few kids who were playing with a ball, he resumes his walk.
[at least you found a few notes on the flying thunder god and the old monkey didn't clean out the library].
He walked inside the store and saw the old man Higurashi... reading a very familiar orange book.
"...Hey, im here for my Order".
he said in an even voice, getting the old man's attention, who hid the book faster than he could see.
"One second, I'll be right back".
Said the old man and went in the back to get his weapons.
it was a minute later the man came back with two items in his hands.
One was a Gunbai with a red outline instead of black and red swirls instead of three Tomos.
And in the other hand, he was holding a katana, the blade was black with golden linings, once the blade was unsheathed there was a lightning bolt just above the handguard, imprinted on the blade.
They were paid for already, he was filthy rich since he got the savings of both his parents, which was a lot.
sealing them both in the left glove, he started walking towards the training ground twelve.
seeing his teammates, he channeled chakra to his legs and dashed forward, appearing in a burst of speed, in the middle of the two.
"Morning".
his sudden appearance startled the two, but they calmed down when they saw who it was.
"Good morning".
Said Ouka sighing at the blonde's antics, he was quite annoyed at him, but he couldn't do anything about it.
"You're late".
Said Satsuki, with a blank stare but only got a shrug and a smirk in response.
"So, have any of you noticed the few foreign ninjas in the village today?".
Naruto asked, sitting down on the grass, and laid back, hand behind his head.
"Mother told me that the Chunin exams are starting soon, so it may be because of that".
Ouka nodded, but otherwise didn't respond, he was still waiting for their teacher to show up and confirm their suspicions.
And an hour later, she did, holding three papers.
"Hello my cute little Genin, I have great news".
She said waving the papers in the air, to her disappointment, none of them were surprised.
-Satsuki POV-
Walking home was not pleasant even for her today, Naruto couldn't walk with her since his master was finishing a new jutsu that the blonde apparently came up with.
As she got closer to the Uchiha district her dread grew, she would have to face her father, who would chew her out, try to push her into a political marriage... again.
The only thing that's stopping him is her Mothers protest... and her siblings tend to ignore him if he pushes too much.
At least his brother and sister trained her when they had free time, and when they were busy, his mother would help as well.
Her father rarely checked on her progress, but that changed when she awakened her Sharingan.
He was more interested in her eyes than her, he was pushing her to use the eyes more often, rely on them, and serve the clan.
Then she remembered something, or rather someone else who she had one spotted had red eyes...
(Naruto... I forgot to ask him about his change...Damn).
