Chapter 98: New Mission

"Kiyoshi among all the candidates for the jinchuriki of the six tails, you appeared to be the most likely one who could befriend him. Besides, your hard work and determination to your training and your loyalty to the village was also taken into consideration. You are also the best youngster who has not only mastered water ninjutsu but also wind ninjutsu to a certain degree. I can confidently say your talent in these two nature transformations is even better than Yoriichi." Ashira said looking at Kiyoshi
Everyone was surprised to hear this as everyone thought Yoriichi had the best talent in ninjutsu as they looked at Yoriichi for his response.
"I am good at Lightning, fire and water ninjutsu as they are my primary affinities. I prefer lightning and fire ninjutsu much more than water ninjutsu. Kiyoshi really has better talent than me in these two nature transformations." Yoriichi said
Although he had not met Kiyoshi much during the past months but he has kept track of everyone's progress. Kiyoshi's progress was really incredible. He was really a civilian prodigy when it came to wind and water ninjutsu.
Everyone considered Yoriichi's water ninjutsu better because of his water breathing techniques but they forget that it was a different kind of kenjutsu which had elements of ninjutsu in it. It was not pure water ninjutsu.
"Now why having a talent in these two nature transformations is important is because the six tails is famous for its water bubble ninjutsu and acid. We believe the one who becomes a jinchuriki would get the tailed beasts abilities to a certain extent so if you become a jinchuriki of six tails you would be able to use soap bubble ninjutsu." Ashira said
There has not been a jinchuriki before this so no one knew what abilities a jinchuriki would get from a tailed beast. They could only speculate. But Yoriichi knew that it was possible from the anime.
There was another reason for choosing him as Jinchuriki that Ashira didn't tell Kiyoshi.
Kiyoshi is from a civilian family. Civilians and civilians Shinobi have grown in population in Uzushiogakure. Civilian Shinobi always think that the village only supports the clan shinobi instead of them and don't present any opportunities for them.
If both Itsuki and Kiyoshi who are of civilian background become powerful after becoming a Jinchuriki, this perspective would change.
"Does this mean that becoming a Jinchuriki would increase my strength? Will I be able to beat Yoriichi then?" asked Kiyoshi excitedly

We speculate that the six tail jinchuriki would would get an increase in the amount of chakra and access to soap bubble ninjutsu. If you manage to control the tailed beast's power completely, You will be classified as a S-rank Shinobi. As for if you would be able to defeat Yoriichi, You could battle him in the future and see for yourself your improvement." Ashira explained with a smile.
"Very well, Uzukage sama I am ready to become a Jinchuriki. Thank you for this opportunity." Kiyoshi said while bowing
"Good, I will personally seal the tailed beasts. So you don't have to worry about it. It will be done tomorrow. You all can leave. Genkai, Hisame, Hiromi and Yoriichi stay. I have a mission for y'all." Ashira said as everyone who was not mentioned left the room.
After everyone left, Ashira started explaining to them their mission.
"As per our arrangements we have offered our services to different villages for sealing their tailed beasts. Your mission is to seal two tails in the clouds chosen Jinchuriki. Genkai will be responsible for sealing it."
"Only the two tails, what about the eight tails?" Hiromi asked
"Well they have not asked to help seal eight tails. This is probably because they don't trust us and want to check the quality of our seals with a weaker tailed beast as well as whether there is any devious plan from our side. Also they might also want to see the powers of a jinchuriki, their benefits and their downsides before deciding what to do with the eight tails." Ashira explained
"You know that me and Yoriichi have just shown our true strengths in the kage summit. They would surely try to hunt us down some way." Genkai expressed his worries
"Oh Genkai, the one with the shade release is getting worried? Have I heard it right? I must be getting old." Ashira jokes
Genkai snorted "I am just worried about the safety of your grandson and the other two kids."
"Hey! I can beat your ass now sensei!" Yoriichi said pointing his sword at Genkai
"Sure Sure you can." Genkai just laughed knowing that Yoriichi was still far away from beating him.
"Haha. Alright You two, that's enough banter for now. Even if the cloud tries to ambush you, All four of you are strong enough to kill your way out. Even if you can't, You surely could escape." Ashira said referring to Genkai's shadow teleport and Yoriichi's sword's ability to teleport
"Besides, I want them to attack you guys. That would at least lower down the number of their Shinobi. Now this is just one part of your mission. Your second mission is to check Kumo's military strength as well as their progress as a Shinobi village. You would also check upon the village hidden in the Frost to see their situation and whether they are still in a silent war with Kumo. If yes, help them discreetly without anyone knowing not even the higher up's in Frost. We don't know who can be a snitch these days." Ashira said
"Do you have any questions?"
"No!" They all answered
"Very well then, Good luck for your mission!"
