"Who are you, I've never heard of such a formidable Uchiha in battle like you."
Itachi tried to buy time to make another precise attack with Amateratsu.
Kenzo saw through his little trick, but he didn't care and continued his game.
"I am an Uchiha who abandoned the village, but I always watched over my clan, especially during the Second and Third Great Ninja Wars. When I found out that you wiped out the Uchiha clan, I wanted to kill you, but I didn't expect you to come and surrender voluntarily." Kenzo pretended to be rough.
"As you abandoned the village, you have no right to interfere with their plans, especially when the problem was political." Itachi revealed a small part of the truth.
"Ohhh! Believe me, I know the whole truth, and I have to say that you are an admirable and foolish man at the same time. Killing your parents for the sake of a village whose leaders only know how to bring it to disgrace, you don't deserve to have those eyes."
Itachi was suddenly surprised by Kenzo's change in mood.
He saw him disappear and reappear in a blink in front of him.

With Itachi standing in front of him like an executioner.

He looked at Kenzo tied to the cross and recognized him in his heart for not panicking.
Kenzo, on the other hand, looked at Itachi with amusement and let him indulge.

Itachi paid no attention at all to his false praise and materialized a sharp sword out of thin air.
However, Kenzo suddenly managed to free himself from the bindings with ease, and then looked at the shocked Itachi.
Itachi couldn't believe what he was seeing.
He was not surprised at all that Kenzo freed himself, rather, the pattern of waves extending along his eyeballs, with thin purplish-gray irises and sclerae.

"Do you have the Rinnegan?" Itachi couldn't help but ask.
But Kenzo did not answer that question.
Instead, he extended his hands into the air and said,

Kenzo appeared in a blink, looking down at him with amusement.
"Dying at the hands of anyone other than my little brother was never in my plans," Itachi said calmly as he looked out into the void.
"That's your problem, you make too many plans in your mind, and in the end, they don't turn out the way you want," Kenzo said, extending his hand to Itachi.
Itachi did not expect this turn of events.
"You won't kill me?" Itachi asked.
"I was just testing you, I have no intention of killing you."
Itachi eyed Kenzo's outstretched hand suspiciously.
At the same moment he felt a surge of chakra enter his body.
His chakra returned to maximum and the fatigue he had felt disappeared.
Kenzo smiled and pulled out a paper seal.
Without waiting for Itachi to react, he threw it towards his eyes.
At this point, Itachi did not react, after all, if this man wanted him dead, he would already be.
A warm sensation ran through his eyes, it seemed to be cleansing them.
After a few seconds, Itachi opened his eyes again.
To his surprise and shock, his vision loss was completely restored.
Clear and more powerful than ever.
He felt that now he could use the Susanoo for much longer.
"You...!" Itachi couldn't find the words.
"Allow me to introduce myself formally, my name is Uchiha Kenzo, survivor of the Uchiha clan massacre, currently serving as an interdimensional trader. The seal from before is one of the many products I trade, I want to make you my client, Uchiha Itachi. What happened before was to see if you were qualified to carry out the missions assigned to you," Kenzo made his characteristic introduction.
Itachi didn't know how to react to this.
He didn't know what to ask.
About the Rinnegan.
Or about being able to cure blindness caused by excessive use of the Mangekyo Sharingan.
"Take this, you can crush it when you decide to leave Akatsuki and join me. Trust me, I pay better than those puppet bastards of another puppet, who is also a puppet for another puppet who doesn't know he's a puppet."

"Izumi, Kenzo-sama is right, he was just testing Itachi." Another female voice scolded the previous one.
"It's just that he's been through so much." The young woman said with a heavy heart.
"Itachi knows what he's doing, thank Kenzo-sama for not killing him for his insolence and even restoring his vision!" The older woman reprimanded the young one again.
"Hmph!" The girl snorted in annoyance.
"Ah! Mikoto, you're an angel!" Kenzo said dramatically as he saw Mikoto defending him.
Kenzo smiled at the older woman.
Suddenly, several figures appeared in a blink, all kneeling before Kenzo.
"Mikoto, Izumi, you are being disrespectful, kneel down quickly." A male voice reprimanded the two women.
"Fugaku... you don't have to be so serious." Kenzo scratched his head and looked at the burly man.
However, his eyes suddenly turned serious.
"Kumo has been arrogant lately, sending so many Jōnin spies to my country. It seems they are too impatient to take over this mountain of money and want to take the initiative before the other countries. Are they ready to pay a visit to The Cloud?" Kenzo asked with a mad gleam in his eyes.
"Hai!!"
The next moment.
Countless scarlet pupils in the midst of darkness appeared around Kenzo.
This murderous intent in the air excited Kenzo.
"You may depart, remember to keep your identity hidden. No one can see those beautiful red eyes and live to tell the tale. Am I clear?"
"Hai!"
Once again, a loud and clear response was heard as over two hundred shadows mobilized towards Kumogakure.
"Itachi, you've grown a lot. I'm glad to have you as a friend. I can't wait for us to meet again." The young man leading the entire squad murmured nostalgically.
