Chapter 117: CH. 77.17
"Listen, guys, fighting with each other won't get us anywhere safe, we have to focus and work together in order to survive, and once when we are safe we can blame each other as long as we want, okay?", Said the calm reasonable male elf to both of Nigel and the angry elf who were fighting now and completely forgot about the danger closing in.
"Ouch, what's that?", Said the angry elf while checking his right hand, there was a small wound and blood around it, he looked towards Nigel and focused on Feika on Nigel's shoulder, she was surprisingly having blood on her right tiny hand.
"You did that?", Asked the angry elf while looking surprised at Feika, Feika on the other side just hissed in a threatening manner, obviously she scratched him when he and Nigel were going to fight, protecting her friend by instinct.
"Calm down, Feika, everything is fine now, but thanks for the help.", Said Nigel while looking at Feika and rubbing her head.
"Listen, I have a good plan to get rid from all of the demons, but I need all of your help, we have to be ready in a couple of minutes, now come and follow me, we can't lose any more time.", Said Nigel while rubbing Feika's head before turning back and started running towards the research department, the three elves looked at each other in confusion.
"Well, what are we waiting for? That's Nigel, he's just like that, let's go and see what he wants to do, that's our last hope at least.", Said the elven female before following Nigel.
"Come on, man, let's forget about this for now.", Said the calm elf while looking at the angry one before following the other two, the angry elf looked down and took a deep breath.
"Why does he always make it hard like that?", Said the angry elf who gradually calmed down before looking at his colleagues entering the research department.
"Sitting here won't solve anything.", Thought the elf before standing up and walking towards his colleagues too.
On the other side of the research department, Gorwin was kneeling on the ground and opening a strange looking blue scroll and placed it on the ground then started reading it, then he put seven fingers on it.
"Let you be reven.", Said Gorwin calmly before the scroll started glowing before it strangely merged inside the ground and completely disappeared!
Gorwin stood up and walked back, the demons are very close to him now, they could be seen from a far.
"That's the seventh one, also the last one with me, this should be more than enough to kill the ones that I saw, I just hope that there are no more of them.", Thought Gorwin before looking at the demons ahead.
"The divine scrolls are my only hope, since I'm not trained to use my divine energy, the spells in this scrolls are my only way to protect myself, I should be thanking grandfather for them after we get out safe, grandfather!", Thought Gorwin before looking worried.
"I should have informed him about what's happening, he doesn't know about the breach in here, I completely forgot because of fear.", Thought Gorwin in a blaming manner.
"Fine, let's get rid of those demons them inform him on my way back to Elviera and Nigel at the research department.", Thought Gorwin before stepping back and kneeling to watch the demons more calmly.
Finally, the demonic hounds are running fast, they're about 40 in numbers, growling and snapping their teeth while looking furiously at their next elven victim sitting for them, they don't know that they're literally walking inside a deadly trap.
"Come on, a bit closer, that's all what I'm asking for.", Said Gorwin while anticipating patiently for the demons to fall in his trap.
Once the hounds stepped inside the zone he is standing in front, Gorwin pointed seven fingers down in his sitting position, 4 from the right hand and 3 from the left one.
"Reven!", Said Gorwin seriously and suddenly the place where he placed the seventh scroll glowed strong and immediately several ice spikes were summoned over the demonic hounds and started falling aggressive on them!
The spikes started tearing up their flesh and piercing their frail bodies compared to the other scarlet demons, this spell already killed several ones and completely pinned them to the floor, the other hounds behind them dashes past the dead ones and completely ignored them, only focusing on reaching Gorwin.
"Eno!", Said Gorwin seriously again but this time his right hand only pointed one finger down and the second hand was closed in a fist and pointing down too, immediately the part of the ground after the first one for the seventh scroll glowed too but this time a strong fire exploded from the ground, pyromancy!
The fire kept eating the bodies of the demonic hounds easily and they were screaming in pain, and just as the effect of the second pyromancy spell started to disappear, Gorwin pointed two fingers from his right hand and only one from his left hand in the same manner as previous.
"Tertion!", Said Gorwin and another part of the ground glowed green before several large carnivorous plants emerged from the ground and started swallowing the demonic hounds alive!
Gorwin was just sitting down, using his hand fingers and saying strange words and just like that the demons were getting killed easily!
