Alina laughed for five minutes straight when they got back and Ivo told everyone where he'd been.

"So, you left here asking us where you could go to -- and I quote-- get 'fucked up' but apparently your definition of that was finding a job."

Thiago hummed thoughtfully from his place on the sofa. "If you think about it most jobs are fucked up."

"The ones we used to have for sure." She paused. "The one we still do, actually."

"Edu seems to like his job at the bar," Ivo said, walking towards the kitchen to fix himself something to eat. "I guess he works for himself, so that's why."

Davi snorted, uncrossing his arms and joining Ivo in the kitchen. "You think the bar is his? No, he works for some old fuck who bought some shitty run down properties around here and lives off of renting the space and the equipment. Edu needs to pay him a share of the profits, that's why he can only hire help from time to time."
