The relation between the pained expression on Snow and Ajax's completely filled spirit consciousness was that Snow was the one who was absorbing the extra essence of nature from his spirit consciousness along with the lightning essence of nature from the lightning strike.

In actuality, when Ajax's body absorbed the essence of nature from the sixth lightning strike, the essence of nature was split into two portions.

In those two, one portion of the essence of nature was entered into Ajax's spirit consciousness whereas another portion of the essence of nature was entered into Snow's spirit consciousness.

So, when Snow absorbed the essence of nature from Ajax's spirit consciousness to relieve some of his pain, she was barely able to manage the two portions of nature in Ajax's body and felt pained.
