Chapter 15: Girl's Day
Waking up to a few text messages from Dimitri who was apologising for what she had said and gone and done, along with making her pay for the item that she had broken. I am feeling uneasy about that, I don’t want this type of drama in my life, who knows what she could do, if this is how crazy she gets after he spoke to me, and kissed me, hopefully, she doesn’t know that we have already had sex. Quickly sent off a text to him to not apologise to me as it’s her that needs to not him and not worry about the bowl. Along with letting him know that I wasn’t impressed by her behaviour either.
My brother taps on my bedroom door, “Oi you up yet? I’m about to leave to get to work.” He said, “Hmm I’m up, what’s up?” I asked sitting up on my bed and looking at him, “Some advice little sister, stay home and work on those photos, but make sure crazy bitch doesn’t see you. Or if you don’t want to stay home go out and explore the city or buy yourself a car. Do not spend time with him today!” He said, “Geez, I know, that is why I was still in bed I need to do all of these things today. Alright enjoy your day, I’m going to see what Dad and Charlotte are up to.” I said, “Ok, good cya!” He said before heading upstairs I find Charlotte in the lounge watching some Dragon Ball Z.
“Morning Sis, you going old school hey?” I said cheerfully, “Morning Rhi, oh yes, yes I am.” She said brightly, “Can I join you?” I asked, “Don’t need to ask.” She said, “Sweet!” I cried out jumping onto the couch and sitting next to her, she wraps me up in the normal sisterly hugs that we do. “Are you ok?” She asked, “Yeah, just over crazy people sis.” I told her she giggles, “I have heard.” She told me, “Alex told you?” I asked, “Yep.” She said, “Where’s Dad?” I asked, “He has gone to buy himself a car.” She told me, “Cool, I’m thinking about doing that today too, want to join me?” I asked her, “Nope, your not.” She stated. “I’m not?” I asked shocked.
“No, spend the day with me?” She asked, I smiled at her, “Oh that is a better offer. Do we have our sister’s day junk food sorted?” I asked, “Um, I haven’t checked after this show please?” She asked. “Sure babe,” I said once DBZ finished I checked the kitchen, and nothing no junk food whatsoever, Charlotte is looking up at me, “You up for a trip to the shops?” I asked her, “Oh hell yes! Let me have a shower first.” She said, “No worries I need one too.” I told her.
I head down to my bathroom and do my shower routine, once clean and dried I got dressed today and feel like being a girly girl today. I have chosen to wear a short sleeve white lace bohemian above the knee dress with my hair curled and put into a loose braid, with my brown boots and brown bag with the bracelets my sister got me on our birthday last year.
I raced upstairs to see if Charlie is ready and nearly laughed out loud as we are nearly dressing the same again, she has on a white elbow length sleeve lace, that is short at the front and long at the back floor length dress. She has her hair out and it’s been straightened with white sandals on and the bracelets I got her for Christmas. “Great minds think alike.” She said brightly, I burst out into a fit of laughter while locking up looking back at her, “You ready?” I asked, “Definitely!” She yelled out, linking arms as we walked down to the bus stop, it took two bus stops before we got to the shops, thanking the driver for helping us out. “Want to get some sushi as well?” She asked me. “Yes, we should get it on the way home,” I told her, she nod her head yes.
We spend the next twenty minutes in Coles getting the items we needed, we both forgot that the shops no longer give out plastic bags, so we had to buy our own. Charlotte taps my arm, I look at her, “Look it’s one of the last ones left.” She said sounding really happy, “Hell yes, that is cool.” I said to her, “Let’s get some DVDs” She told me, “Yes to that sis.” I told her. Ten minutes later we left the shops with junk food, DVDs, and sushi, of course, I love the fact the shops are so close to our house. We got off the bus and were making our way towards our home, I noticed him before he spotted us so did my sister, she gave my arm a soft squeeze. He only noticed us when we walked past his house, we quickly walked to our front door unlocking it Charlotte took the bags out of my hands, “I will go in and get set up, please don’t be too long Rhi.” She told me, and I nod my head yes, “Can we please talk?” He asked. “Why?” I asked, he looked hurt by that, am I being too mean?
“Because I feel like you are angry at me like I used you or something.” He said, “I don’t need crazy people drama in my life, Dimitri.” I told him. “Please Rhiannon hear me out.” He begged sounding very hurt, “Why should I? She finds out I have spoken to you which member of my family is going to get hurt next?” I asked sounding hurt too, “It won’t happen again.” He stated, “How can you be so sure?” I asked, “Please.” He begged, starting to feel like I should hear him out. “Dimitri I’m trying to have a girl’s day with my sister,” I told him, “I won’t take that long please.” He begged again, “Fine, please follow me.” I told him, taking him down into the lounge room in front of my bedroom.
