Chapter 2: The Central Tower
"Class! It's time to move on to the next part of the trip!" The teacher yelled out.
The class gathered together at the entrance of Central Town. "Now class, it's time for the main part of the trip. We are going to the Central Tower!" The Teacher said in excitement.
'The tower? They're just going to let kids go to the tower.' Kamio thought.
"Hey, are you ready for this?" Sarah asked him.
"Ready for what?" He asked.
"We're going to get a tour of the Central Tower!!" Sarah exclaimed, excitedly.
The young girl walked on the top of a building near the Central Tower. 'I hate curfews.' She thought.
"Yuu, are you there?" She heard a voice say at her hip. She grabbed a small radio that was connected to her belt.
"Yeah, what's up?" She asked.
"Listen up, we have a change of plans," The voice said.
"What do you mean?" Yuu asked.
"I have found out that a school from another town is having a 2-day field trip to this town."
"So?"
"Ahh, I want you to infiltrate this group and get into the tower."
With the rest of his class, Kamio walked toward a tall tower. "Listen up!" The teacher started.
"You all better be on your best behavior! I don't want to have to explain it to your parents if one of you gets arrested," She told them.
The class followed their teacher until they got to the entrance of the tower. There was an old man wearing silver armor and a white hood and cape, the hood was down, showing his short, gray hair. "Welcome! How are you all?" He said to the class.
"We all are good, thank you for asking," The teacher answered for them all.
"That's good. My name is Satou, and I am one of the two General Elites of this tower. Well, let's begin the first part of the tour. Follow me," The old man, now identified as Satou, told them.
Satou turned around and opened the big door that was the entrance to the tower and led the group inside.
Yuu walked to the back of the class, being careful not to be noticed by any guards. 'Hmm, why do I have to go in alone?' She thought.
The group followed Satou through the long, empty halls of the tower. "Our first stop will be the first-floor meeting room," Satou told the group as he led them down an adjacent hall.
Kamio was around the center of the group. 'Why?! A meeting room sounds so boring!' He thought.
"You seem bored," A short girl with silver/gray hair and red eyes asked him. She wore a white, sleeveless shirt, and a white skirt that went ¾ down her thighs, a pair of brown boots, and some black, fingerless gloves.
"Who are you?" Kamio asked her. "You're not in my class."
"Yes, I am. Do you not pay attention to your classmates?" She asked, offended.
"I've never seen you before though, are you sure you're supposed to be here?" Kamio asked.
"I am! Now tell me, why are you bored? Everyone else is so excited to be here," The girl said.
"Life itself is boring! I thought coming here would be exciting, but so far, it's not!" He told her. "Who are you anyway?"
"Oh, my name's Yuu. What's your's?"
"It's Kamio." He answered
"Well Kamio, I think I know a way you can have some excitement," Yuu told him.
"How?!" He asked.
"Follow me," Yuu told him. They slowed down and when they got to the back of the group, Yuu led Kamio down another hall.
"Where are we going?!" He asked her.
"Be quiet, we don't want to get caught!" She told him. "We're going to the control room."
