Chapter 2: It begins
"Thank you. Please visit again." said Ray to the customer. She has been working in this cafe for over an year now. Suzy, a close friend of Ray , ever since her childhood, said " Stop working at this place already, it's so tiring because of you. People just won't stop coming." Suzy is like a sister for Ray. She was always there for her in ups and downs. After the death of Ray's parents, their relationship got even stronger. Her parents always considered Ray as their daughter and even asked her to stay with them, but she didn't wanted to be a burden on them, therefore she politely refused . Suzy was the one who recommended the job at the cafe to her. " Why would she quit? She is my lucky mascot afterall" the owner of the cafe Mark said to Suzy. Mark has a little crush on Ray and out of pitty he offered the job to Ray as he wanted to help the little girl back then. Now, Ray is no longer a little girl to Mark , she is a full grown lady and he hope that someday he will express his feelings to her. It was around 6 pm ,when they called it a day. After cleaning up the tables, Ray asked her leave and went towards home.
A lots of things were going through her mind as she was walking. She had to pay the fee for her last semester. She also had pending assignments. A huge blow of wind brought her out of her thoughts.It was a cloudy day. Sun was about to hide for the night as it was winters. Before going home, she stopped at a grocery store to buy basic items. As she was waiting near the counter for payment, she felt a strange feeling as if someone is stareing at her. She threw a look around and in the store and found no one. She got ghoosbumbs on her hand , which she dismissed thinking that it might be because of the cold air.
As she reached near her house, she saw an expensive black car coming out of the lane in which her house stands. The windows of the car were tinted black ,so it was very difficult to see the person inside it, not that she was interested. When she unlocked the door and entered the house, she was confused because there was a room whose light was turned on, which she remembered turning off.....
