Chapter 42: It will never stay the same [Part-42]
She placed some extra kunai and shuriken in the hidden pockets of her outfit. Deciding to head out 5 minutes early so that she could get a small run to pump up her muscles, she quickly dashed through the doors.
"Yo Veronica! You're early today."-Tanaka
The bright boy waved at her. It seemed as though they both had come to a silent agreement. They would not talk to each other about that incident till they felt like it.
<So are you.>
"Yea, I couldn't sleep all night! Sensei seems really cool; I wonder what's he going to be teaching us today!!!"-Tanaka
He seemed like a bright ball of energy for the weirdest reason to her right now. She almost compared him to Naruto if she didn't notice how his eyes were. They showed just how much he hated their current sensei.
[His level of sarcasm is so high we can't even tell he's being sarcastic.]-Matatabi
'Indeed.'
Nodding at the astute observation, she focused back on Tanaka.
<Yea sure. Oh right, what did he discuss with you yesterday?>
"Oh, nothing much, just tips and pointers. Also, some things we'll be working on. What about you?"-Tanaka
<He did the same thing with me.>
"Oh yea, he told you to bring your training schedule, right?"-Tanaka
"Mhm."-Veronica
Tanaka didn't bother to continue the conversation and the same was said for Veronica. A minute or two later, Ohta had arrived. The three Genin were now waiting for their sensei.
'Well, I guess we'll be waiting for a while. Kaka-San said that Ura-sensei will probably keep throwing test after test. Plus, since this isn't a normal team who knows what he will and can do.'
Soon enough their teacher arrived with Might Gai and his team. Veronica sighed at this, already knowing whatever will be happening will probably be very tiring and irritating thing.
[Here it comes...]-Matatabi
'I think I'm starting to understand why the Nara clan is always just so tired...'
"Hello there youthful-" Gai
Veronica already had enough, so she tuned him out and just asked Matatabi to summarize for her.
[He said that you all will be training together with Gai's team for some time and completing some missions with them.]-Matatabi
'Thanks.'
Her teammates didn't look too fond with the idea of working together with Lee and Gai which Veronica silently agreed with, but seeing Tenten helped. Tenten was really dependable and since Ura had announced that they would be learning different weapon styles so she knew that Tenten was the person to go to.

'Shut up.'
Apparently, they would be starting off with a run and Veronica really wanted to groan out loud at that. She was sure her legs were going to be super sore by the end of today.
"It's only been an hour and you're already falling behind. Losers like you will only get in the way so-" -Neji
Ohta had an irk mark on his forehead and proceeded to run ahead of Neji. The boy was in shock at his outburst while Gai and Lee ran after him screaming something about youth which he paid no attention to.
Veronica, Tanaka and Tenten seemed to be having fun ignoring all of them.
"You guys are doing ok for your first time."-Ura
They had all stopped to take a break. Ura decided that now was the time to encourage and let his students in on his feedback till now.
"Ohta and Tanaka, you two have been comparing yourselves to the others while you don't seem to consider the fact that, they have trained much more than you two. And Veronica, I know you're tired, I am too, but you still have to try."-Ura
The first statement looked more towards Tanaka. She noticed that Ura usually ignored Ohta. She didn't mind it much but she wondered how the two knew each other as Ohta seemed to have been yearning for his attention.
"Sorry sensei."-Ohta and Tanaka
'Why are they even apologizing for this?'
The two looked determined to train more as they watched the others with more tenacity than before.
"That's alright, now, we are going to train separately from them and then meet up with them again at 5."-Ura
Everyone nodded at this and they went to another training ground after bidding their farewells.
"Uh sensei...? I'm pretty sure people call this the 'forest of death'? What are we going to be doing here?"-Tanaka
The three children looked worried at what their teacher seemed to be planning.
"Yes sensei, right now-" -Ohta
"We won't be doing anything much, for now. For these few hours, we'll remain on the outskirts of the forest and hunt for our lunch and protect ourselves from any creatures that pop up."-Ura
All three Genin didn't know what to think of Ura's excited smile. It seems as though their sensei was a sadist.
'Perverted sadistic pedophile bastard.'
"Anyways, onward soldiers!"-Ura
They could only agree with whatever he said for now.
'I don't know about this-
Is that blood? And is that a giant snake? IS THAT ANKO?!!!!!'
