Chapter 182: You're the Cutest Girl I Ever Met!
Days passed by quickly. Without realising, it was already the day the Fang Can Guardian Ascension Ceremony held.
The ceremony began in the evening, Min Zhi Yi and the others have plenty of time. The sun just rises, even if they departed now, there s still it would still be three hours early.
Unexpectedly, Min Yue Yue was very eager. Min Zhi Yi was still asleep, but she visited her friend's room.
"Zhi Yi, wake up! It's time to leave."
Min Yue Yue said out loud in front of Min Zhi Yi's sleeping face. Her face sneered as she saw Min Zhi Yi makes a surprised expression.
"Yue Yue... Don't you think it's still too early? How come you're this interested? At first, you said you did not like it."
"Well, I have my reason... But, it's better to be early than late right?" Min Yue Yue slightly grinned as she explained, "Don't worry, I talked with your mother, and she also agreed to leave as soon as you finished get ready."
Min Zhi Yi thought that the only reason her mother agreed to the sudden request was because of Min Yue Yue's background. Min Yue Yue was the Clan Lord's daughter, and if she wishes for something, and as long as it's not impossible, there's no reason to refuse. However, it seemed Min Yue Yue herself did not realise this fact, so Min Zhi Yi decided to keep quiet about it.
"Don't you know how much trouble you caused, Yue Yue?!" A voice came from outside. The intonation contained a high and loud sound representing anger and furiousness.
That someone entered the room, it was Min Yue Yue's little sister, Yue Miao. The first thing she did was scolding her big sister.
"I told you many times don't make such a sudden request, you're only troubling Zhi Yi's family! You know that Zhi Yi's mother can't refuse you because of father."
"Ehh... But..."
"No Buts, quickly apologise and cancel your request!"
Min Zhi Yi's mother arrived just in time to heard the conversation. "It's all right. I do not mind at all."
"See... Zhi Yi's mother said it's all right! Isn't the sooner we arrive, the better? Little Sister also needs to get ready."
"..." Min Yue Miao sighed while creasing her eyebrow. She made an uncomfortable expression because of her sister's stubbornness.
"Young Lady Yue Miao, it's really all right." Min Zhi Yi's mother replied with a smile. Her stature did indicate her sincerity towards the request being made. "It is just as Young Lady Yue Yue said, the sooner we arrive then Zhi Yi will have time to meet her family."
Min Yue Miao bowed slightly "I'm really sorry for my sister's rudeness."
"Young Lady Yue Miao does not have to bow. You did nothing wrong." Min Zhi Yi's mother panicked slightly.
"Well then, forgive me. I have to go and get prepared." Min Yue Miao quickly leaves the room.
Witnessing the scene before her, Min Zhi Yi tilted her head. "Yue Yue, Have anyone ever said your little sister and yourself are totally different?"
"Everyone does, compared to Yue Miao I'm too immature is what they said. But, father said Yue Miao is a bit special. She loves to study, read books about wars and techniques. She also likes to cultivate and watches fighting practice."
Min Zhi Yi nodded in agreement. Certainly for a six-year-old child, having that kind of activities as a hobby is quite extraordinary. Besides that, her personality was also calm like an adult.
However, because of her personality, it seemed that Min Yue Miao does not have any friends. They were creeped out by her. Honestly, Min Zhi Yi was surprised when Min Zhi Yi inserted herself into this journey.
On the other hand, the big sister, Min Yue Yue have many friends due to her outgoing personality. Alongside her pretty and cute face, many boys even have confessed their love for her.

Min Zhi Yi along with her family, the two Min sisters and their guards finally departed.
The Clan Lord of the Min Clan knew that Min Zhi Yi was her daughter's closest friend. He completely trusted his two daughters to the Min Zhi Yi's family. He even lent some guards to make their journey go smoothly.
Since most of those guards were also from the Fang Clan, their travel went faster than they had expected.
Using the spare time, Min Zhi Yi finally visited her birth parents.
Their meeting went really well. Min Zhi Yi's birth parents explained everything, they only gave her up due to money problems. In the end, they treated Min Zhi Yi very well, and Min Zhi Yi herself has nothing to complain about.
After gaining a new father and mother, she also met her grandmother and cousins. For Min Zhi Yi, it was a lovely and happy day. Yet, there's still one person she has yet to meet, her big sister, Fang Ye Na. Unfortunately, she was out because she was training to prepare for the ceremony.
Apparently, Fang Ye Na was one of the favourites to be chosen by the holy guardian. Min Zhi Yi was surprised but would be excited if her sister was chosen. It would provide better fund allocated towards her family.
Meanwhile, the Min sisters were brought to the guest room, knowing that they were the Clan Lord of Min Clan's daughters they were treated really well.
With Min Yue Yue's personality, there's no way she would be able to stay still. She decided to walk around.
"Zhi Yi, congratulations on meeting your birth parents. You must be happy." Min Yue Yue said as they coincidentally meet in the corridor.
"Thank you. Even until now, I still can't believe I have two pairs of great parents."
Min Yue Yue smiled happily for her friends. But, then she fidgets around. While fiddling her finger around long hair, she nervously asked. "By the way... About the person, we were talking about..."
"Hmmm... Which person?"
"You know... The one from Fang Clan, the one you said who's beautiful and her fighting is attractive."
"Ah! I realised that after talking with my parents. That person is actually my sister, Fang Ye Na."
"Eh... Really?!" Min Yue Yue was surprised after hearing that. "She's here, right? Can I meet her now?"
"Unfortunately, no... My sister is currently training for the fight in the ceremony. Even I have not seen her face yet."
"I see..." Min Yue Yue said with a sigh.
"But why are you so eager to meet her?" asked Min Zhi Yi.
"No reason... Just curious." Min Yue Yue said as if to evade her question. "Well then, I'll be going back to the room. Just enjoy your time with your family. And tell me when it is time for the ceremony."
Min Zhi Yi scratched her head as she gazed at her friend's figure disappearing into the corner. Min Yue Yue's action were a bit suspicious, but Min Zhi Yi decided to wave it off, as there's nothing she could gain from probing her friend.

The Fang Clan Guardian Ascension Ceremony has begun. It was held in the stadium big enough to accommodate more than 20,000 people. Despite their clan's economy, the stadium was clean and well-maintained.
Furthermore, the Fang Clan also hired performer and dancer to entertain. With such grand expenses, it symbolises just how important it is the ceremony for the clan.
After some entertaining performance was the fight between the younger members. Although all the young members between six years old to twelve years old in the Fang Clan were the candidate to be chosen, there was no time for them to fight against each other.
Instead, the Fang Clan's elder chose twenty people they believe has the most potential to be the match representatives. In a series of ten matches, two people were paired together to fight against each other.
However, the fight was only a show created for the holy guardian. The winner of the match will not neccessarily be chosen.
Although it was quite rare. History indicated the holy guardian had actually chosen someone out of the ten winners of the match. It was more than 500 years ago.
And more than 800 years ago, the holy guardian chose someone that does not even participate in the matches.
This time, the fight was quite entertaining, the kids from the Fang Clan showed the strength that was even better than the other kids from the upper-tier clan has.
Nine matches have ended with all of their strength were close to each other.
The last match began. In one side, was an eleven-year-old boy who was said to be one of the strongest in the tournament. On the other side was an eight-year-old girl. Her cute demeanour and small stature truly made everyone wonder if this match was fair.
"That's her! Zhi Yi, that's is your sister, Ye Na!" Her birth father pointed out for her.
"Ehh! So that's my sister!" Min Zhi Yi excitedly watched the match.
The match ended sooner than they thought. Fang Ye Na swiftly dodged her opponent's movement and launched counter after counter. Her strikes were executed perfectly, with elegance as if a swallow were to strike its prey.
The moment her opponent fell into the ground and admitted defeat, cheers erupted from the audience.
"Wow, my sister is the best!" Min Zhi Yi excitedly cheered.
"She did it beautifully and with such grace!" her father praised.
"Truly, our daughter. I hope she will be chosen" her mother said.
"...", Min Yue Yue.
"Hmmm... What's up Yue Yue? Did you not like the match?"
"No, it was good..." Min Yue Yue responded. "Zhi Yi, your sister is not only strong and cute..."
"Of course, she is my sister, after all!" Min Zhi Yi said proudly. "She is certainly strong, but... I think Yue Yue is cuter!"
"Really!?"
"Yes, Yue Yue, you're the cutest girl I ever met!"
Min Yue Yue covered her cheek with her hand, He smiled shined really bright as she heard that, "Stop it. You're embarrassing me!"
Yue Miao glanced at her sister beside her and sighed. As she turned her attention back into the ring again. The main event has finally started.
It was time for the holy guardian to chose the next Fang Clan leader.
The Clan Lord of the Fang Clan in his late sixties goes into the middle of the ring. There he kneeled down, prayed and uttered some kind of spell.
Slowly a star appeared in the sky, it shined more brightly than the other stars.
It was the star of the holy guardian. Just like a giant flashlight, it will point its light to the chosen ones.
It created a spotlight if it pointed at you but does not stop it means you were not chosen. It carefully points to one kid after another, but it passes them to look for another.
Suddenly the light headed towards Fang Ye Na's direction. Min Zhi Yi and her whole family prayed that it would stop at Fang Ye Na. But, their hopes crash as it passed by her. It could not be helped, the selection from the holy guardian was absolute.
It takes time, but after five minutes, it finally found someone and stopped.
But, the light does not stop inside the arena, it pointed towards one of the audience.
The whole arena gasped, they did not know who that girl was.
The holy guardian has chosen Min Yue Miao.
