Chapter 30: A Sudden Farewell
It was a cold and peaceful night, a great condition to sleep. I wrapped myself in my Blanket and started to sleep. There I had a weird dream, not straight up weird but still weird. I always had this dream, a blurry dream, in some sort of bright cavern with a girl with pink hair just keep on manifesting. I wonder who is she, well it's too blurry and I cannot see her face. It will start to get clearer and clearer as she get close to me but I'll just end up seeing her with her faceless feature. It's been going on for a while no, a repetitive dream. Not until..... The date was August 15. I decided to sleep on my soft bed after watching some videos I accidentally found, it was anime girls playing some sort of video games. I headed straight to bed and I started dreaming again. It was a very bright but not blinding bright. But something is different, the place is much more recognizable and my vision is way clearer. I heard a voice, an angelic voice, it's singing. It's so beautiful, I think I can listen to it all day. I followed where the sound came from. As I've get closer I got a glimpse on where the source is. A Pink Haired girl sitting on a rock and singing, It was the same girl I've been seeing. I got closer to greet her but I noticed something, I looked on its head, I saw two horns, tho the other one is still underdeveloped. I step back but I stepped on a stone and tumbled to the ground, as I tumbled I've heard footsteps.
"Oh, a human, don't worry I won't hurt you. Here stand up" she said as she reach her hand for me. Holy shit she's cute as hell. I stand up and accepted her hand. She looked at me while smiling. My elbow was bleeding as I've hit it.
"Oh no your elbow is bleeding, lemme put bandaid on it" she said as she got a bandaid out of nowhere. As I've looked at her I instantly thought that she's an angelic demon, but as she's about to sing I saw a tail holding her mic. Oh,she must be a Succubus.
"Uh this might be too late to say but what's your name??" I asked.
"Aloe, Mano Aloe, a young Succubus" she answered.
"Oh, I see" I replied, she didn't asked for mine so I guess she isn't interested in my name. I just sat beside her staring awkwardly at the cavern's floor, as I sat I've heard her sing once again, it was lively, it blessed my ear despite her being an actual type of demon.
"Oops, I think it's time's up for you human, see you around!!" she said.
"Wait what do you me--" my words abruptly stopped as I woke up on my bed, I looked on the clock, it was exactly 7 o'clock am. My elbow hurts and somehow I still have the bandaid she gave me. I looked on my 'thing' and it was up so I decided to go to the bathroom to deal with it and take a bath since I'm off to work.
I've finished the day and slept hoping that I'll meet her again on my dreams. I didn't meet her. But the next day, I was so tired and so beat up so I decided to head straight to bed. I slept and I started dreaming again. I met her again.
"Oh, hello again human" she said, she doesn't really look happy but she's smiling. I greeted her and we head off somewhere. It was a hill and below is a city, there's no people but there's lights on the buildings, it must be works of my mind. We sat on a bench and admired the beautiful view.
"You know I've taken a break on some things, you'll be meeting me everynight this 2 weeks" she said. She doesn't sound happy but hey I can atleast spend more time with this unknown girl. Since that day i've been meeting her every night. It was fun, also I can make things real and bring it to the real world. One night I decided to make an entire festival place, where we only two were. We sat on a good place getting ready for the fireworks display.
"You know, I wanna sing on front of a crowd, on top of a big stage, on front of everyone, where they'll look up on me and listen to my song" she said as she's about sing again and in the rhythm of the fireworks.
"You see this horn? It's small right? Means I still have to grow. Will you watch me as I grow it?" She added as the show stopped.
"Yes, I'll watch you grow and I'll watch you sing on the stage" I said as I look to her smiling face. The dream were eventually cut off as I've woken up.
It was the night of August 31, I've slept at my bad like I'd normally do after a long day of work. I met her again, she was there where we first met. She was singing once again, but wait she is crying. I wanna know why she is crying but I can't seem to go near her. Until it just went black and I suddenly woke up. I got on my computer since it was day off. I was about to search something but I forgot what it is. I suddenly felt sleepy. I soon realized I was at her front. We were at a long stretch of dirt road, with the end of it seem to be non-existent as it was just bright light. She was there standing, smiling at me. She sang, it was still as good as the first time I've heard it. We continued walking on the road but she suddenly stopped. She turned around and looked at me.
"I'm sorry human, but I think this is the last day we meet, the last you'll hear my voice, the last time we'll be able to talk with each other" she sadly said.
"Wait wait wait" I said as I try to catch up with her. He was going straight on the light.
"That two weeks were fun!" She said.
"Yeah it was fun, I'll never forget about it!" I said. She smiled and said the last words as she continues to disappear on my field of vision
"Farewell Human, I've had fun". Until I eventually woke up on my chair. Crying and don't know what to do. I've waited for days hoping to meet her again one more time until it eventually became weeks and months of waiting. Was it Really a goodbye Aloe?.... I was browsing at my computer when I saw a video, I heard a voice, a familiar voice, it was hers, tho it doesn't look like her. Was it really a farewell or so I thought?......
