Chapter 2: CHAPTER II
Chris POV
I woke up too early in this morning, so I decided to jog around my neighborhood. I don't really jog when I wake up early, but I kinda want to do it now.
When the sun is finally rising I went back home and shower then do more of my morning routine.
I'm walking downstairs to make a food to myself, you know, I don't have a maid or something, because I can do it myself. When I entered the kitchen I start making omelette and cooking hotdog the fried rice. I also made a coffee.
When I'm done cooking I placed it on the table and begin eating, until my phone rings, I groaned before answering my phone.
"What's up, motherfucker?" I greeted.
"What a great greeting from you, bastard." I looked at the caller's ID and saw my friend's name, Jaypee.
"What do you want?" I asked and continue eating my food.
"Kaiden's daughter's, Zyritch, her birthday is coming." He stated.
"Do you call me because you thought I forgot her birthday?" I asked.
"Of course, you idiot, you always forgetting our birthdays." Jaypee explained.
"Of course not, I can forgot all of your birthdays, but I will never forget my nieces and nephew's birthday." I answered smirking.
"How touching of yours, motherfucker." He responded.
"You're welcome, dre." I said then hang up the phone.
After eating my breakfast, I decided to go to my friend's house, Kaiden. I drove for like about 10 minutes before sighting his house. Yeah, we all live at the same neighborhood, me and my friends are more like a family.
When I arrived at his house, I banged his door, letting his husband out, Dwayne.
"Good morning, Chris." Dwayne greeted me with a smile.
"Good morning to you too, Dwayne. Where is your husband?" I asked.
"He's in backyard, playing with Zyritch." He replied, letting me in.
"Have you eaten breakfast?" He asked and I just nodded my head and went to backyard.
"Hey, dre!" I exclaimed getting his attention.
"Why are you here, early this morning?" He asked then look back at his daughter. "Papa, will talk to uncle first, okay?" He said to his daughter then kissed her to her forehead.
"How sweet dad." I said then he glared at me.
"Oh, fuck off, dre. Why are you here? I'm sure you're not here just to annoy me, well kind of." he said then gesture me to sit. Dwayne came with coffee and some pancakes.
"Well, I'm here to annoy you, but I need to tell you something." I uttered then sip at my coffee.
"What do you need to tell me?" He asked.
I sit up straight and placed my both arm on the table and intertwined my hands.
"I'm, you know, uhmm Bi?" I announced.
"And?" He asked calmly.
"That's all." I replied.
"Okay." He stated then eat his pancake.
"Okay? That's all your reaction?" I stated and he looked at me then rolled his eyes.
"How do you want me to react? Jump up and down? Punching the air? Squeal like a teenage girl?" He answered glaring at me.
"You're a piece of shit, dre." I responded.
"Is this the reason?" He asked this time he's more serious.
"Reason for what?" I asked confused.
"You are acting weird and not yourself lately." He uttered.
"Of course not." I said then he narrowed his eyes.
"Then what is it? You seems like off this past one year, what really happened to you?"
"And don't lie, Chris Laurence." He added, he calls me with my whole name that's mean he's freaking serious about the subject.
"Geez, no need to call me by my whole name, you know." I said scratching the back of my neck.
"Alright, spill the beans, what really happened?" He asked full of seriousness in his voice. I took a deep breath before speaking.
"I met a guy that I liked a lot." I stated and he hummed.
"Oh, your first love? interesting." He teased and I shot him a dagger.
"I met him at the cafe near at your company, we get along pretty well, but we ended didn't well." I sighed.
"Why?" He asked.
"Well, he told me that it's all a fucking dare and he has a freaking boyfriend and he choose to be his boyfriend because he wants my money and not me." I answered.
"The one and only Chris Laurence was fooled by a guy? What a great news." He responded smirking and I glared at him.
I laugh sarcastically, "Thank you, my fucking friend."
"Anyways, I'm kind of surprised but hey don't worry, you will get through at that then maybe you found your the one anytime soon." He said then patted my shoulder.
"No, I don't believe in love anymore." I replied.
"Yeah, yeah whatever, dre, but you will still found it." He smirk.
"Do you tell this to other?" He asked.
"Not yet, but I'm planning to tell them today." I answered.
"Why don't you call them and make them come here, you brainless?" He asked and I punched him on his arm and he swing back.
"Yeah, That really didn't came in my mind." I chuckled then went to call our other friend to come here.
"You know that we accept you, right? hell, I also have a husband but you all didn't find me disgusting and accepted me for who I am." He stated after I called all our friends.
Later that moment our other friends arrived then I told them what I said to Kaiden.
"Wow, he fooled you, for the first in forever someone fooled you." Jaypee said while clapping his hand.
"Stop that, you're like a seal." Paul said then look at me.
"Why don't you tell us when you found out?" He asked.
"Well, I'm kind of scared that you will all be disgusted and will ditch me." I answered full of honesty. Kyle hit the back of my head and I glared at him.
"You're an absolutely idiot, dre, of course, we won't leave you, son of a gun." He stated and we all talk about our lives, it's not like we don't really know.
"How about we go to club, tonight?" I stated and they all nodded.
