Let's head towards the perfect clone that Ryuu sent out. The clones was currently using [ Shundō ] towards the building going around dirty and places where drugs along with prostitute could be seen. He breezley moved to the streets being followed along the way due to his high class clothes.
The clone stopped at an alley where they thought that he was being cornered, finding at least three to four people with an intent to harm him.
He finds it cliche that he'd run to them but he needs information about stopping and testing his [ Blacklight virus ]. The clone hadn't tested it, choosing to focus his attention with his moment and current skills.
The clone could easily use [ Hypnosis ] to get this answer but it would kill three birds with one stone since the three people in front of him weren't exactly kind hearted.
Their aura was so miasmic and disgusting that it made him want to vomit. There are certain people with black aura but not necessarily evil and those in front of him were beyond vile.
"Quick question, does any of you know a crime syndicate nearby?"
"No and give us all your money if you know what's good for you."

The clone sighed using [ Shundō ] to appear behind the thugs before stabbing his hands through it chest that made his allies dumbstruck at what they had witnessed then was stabbed in the walls by a tendrils behind the clones who quickly absorbed the body of the thugs he had stabbed.
At that moment, his body slowly felt being rearranged and memories of that surely not began to resurface in detail. The clones made sure to separate it from important memories using his [ Mind Palace ] destroy useless things.
'Well that was rather unpleasant…'
The clone muttered finding himself witnessing one of the memory in which the person rape a child in front of her parent. It was traumatic and disgusting, letting him feel no remorse for his action.
Still he is able to replicate near perfect copies of a person's shapeshift into his form. The clone acquired what he needed and was fortunate the guy is close to a member of the crime syndicate.

The clone then turned his attention towards the thugs who were struggling, then their eyes faded when the tendrils consumed their flesh and were absorbed by Ryuu acquiring their memories.
'I should try to make juggernauts and other blacklight creatures.'
There are few monsters in monster from the prototype games namely Hunters which are tanky humanoid creatures and juggernauts similar yet more bulky variant.
The main body or Main hive could easily manipulate each and everyone of them but it will take time. Ryuu needed to be careful or else he might consequently end the world by how powerful [ Blacklight Virus ] is.
'Though, I could make Evolved as my subordinate.'
An evolved is a type of creature infected by [ Blacklight virus ] that could remain human. Normally, Ryuu needed to experiment to have the right type of virus but he had [ Disease Magic ] that could genetically make what he needed.
The clone shapeshifted into the first thug he consumed and headed his way to the headquarters of the Crime Syndicate which was an enormous building. He went to the receptionist using [ Hypnosis ] in the surroundings while making a Disease that made them forget.
It was extremely easy due to his innate skill of [ Biochemist ] that provided him knowledge and understanding in living organisms from biology, enzymes, etc.
'How convenient, this clone is just like the main body…maybe I could do a similar thing like Vandalieu but I need [ abyss ] skill to do that.'
In death mage verse, the skill [ abyss ] and the functionally of this skill re-activates special abilities issued through gaze, like Demon Eyes, as if the Abyss owner had used them against the sender.

Furthermore, they were able to send their soul to the clone that essentially meant that in order to kill Vandalieu in the novel is to kill each and every clone that he had which is virtually impossible due how powerful each clone is, not even mentioning the main body.

The clone thought since it was possible upon devouring a person who has a strong will would eventually consume his body or affect it negatively. Though, his mind wouldn't be an issue but his body is.
He knew it would be troublesome being a puppeteer and manipulated by the creature he would consume. The clone chuckled recalling how the demon king, Guduranis from death mage tried stealing back its body fragment but ended up consumed by Vandalieu.
Shaking his head, the clone soon arrived on top of the building where guards saw him approach and tried to stop him.
"Fall."
With a single phrase, he hypnotized them I to falling asleep and breezly opening the door where your typical mob boss could be seen with at the end was his target.
"Who are you!? Guards!!"
"What's going on!? Whose this idiot?"
"You said that no one else is going to be here?"
The boss expression contorted looking at the clone who only shrugged it off using [ Shundō ] without wasting any time. He dislikes monologues unless those people are the one he is fighting.
Everyone baffled when he disappeared and heard the boss grunt as the clone grabbed him by the next, raising him up letting everyone watch in horror.
The clone proceeded to crush it's next before being absorbed by him, gaining his memory and fortunately doesn't have any family members which would be troublesome.
"Not bad…this guy has a lot of connections and networks. Fortunately, his crime is only robbing banks and weapons distributions."
He said to himself ignoring the screams of the people who were unable to move from their seats. The clone then sat back in the chair using the form of the boss before the expression of the people inside changed.
"What was I doing again?"
"You said that you've gotten your hands on new weapons?"
The boss or the clone said smirking, manipulating the people inside slowly changing their ways. Ryuu still needs to find the people responsible for killing his brother. Furthermore, he made his new subordinate find every detail about the supernatural even how minor it is.
Soon, the clone gathered all the kindest goonies that don't have much sin beside needing money for their family. The [ Aura ] doesn't lie when looking at him along with his intuition. He personally doesn't care for people who rob banks since it's actually a good thing.
The government often tricks people and steals money from the people. It would allow him to act like Asiong or Robin hood. Though, he doesn't plan on being some sort of hero or vigilante.
"Boss, I've gathered everyone. What is it that you need?"
"Few things but do you all swear loyalty to me? Don't worry I won't kill you but make you better. I swear that all of you shall have better lives after this."
Everyone looked at themself consumed by why their boss was acting strange before nodding. This made him smirked once again since he was testing if it was possible to replicate infected from Prototype.
"Now then let's begin."
At that moment, the clone injected them with the virus and soon their body experienced some changes with increased strength and durability, shocking everyone. He wasn't afraid of them betraying him since there's a Hive mind and could easily know their movement. Killing them would be as easy as crushing a bug.
"Now go do my test and make sure to give me the result."
"Yes boss!"
They didn't question anything being influenced by his virus rewriting their brain devoting themselves to him. The clone sat back in his chair like asking with his legs crossed and a wine I handed.
'I should change the name of the group.'
