Chapter 88: Chapter 86 - A Cheat!
Looking at her childhood lover finding the magic she attained to be unusual as the ability wasn't exactly the manipulation of magical energy in the surroundings but appeared to influence her body directly.
Ryuu wonders if this still falls under the category of magic but vaguely guesses that it manipulates magical energy to let the body adapt and overpowered virtually anything while making them physically stronger.
Her limits is only finding the right people to combat with and seemed the need to use magic to make her body stronger.
'I wonder how physically stronger she is with [ Aura ].'
If her ability to power through virtually anything is given enough time then it's safe to say her superior magic if level up in Lambda would be closer to Evolution than Adaptability.
Justine opened her eyes and stood up having a feel of her Body before flexing doing several martial art movements taught by her brothers. She's quite a capable fighter even more when added to her magic and [ Aura ].
The magic allows to seemingly move in such a way that continuously makes her stronger. The more mentally she put the more powerful her strike eventually caused a strong shockwave that obliterated at least twenty meters of three in front of her.
Everyone we're surprised by the display of power since in terms of physical prowess Justine has the edge.
"Whoa! With a single struck instantly destroyed those trees!"( Mitsuri )
"Does her magic let her strengthen her body or is it just the effect of [ Aura ]." ( Nezuko )
"It seems that they mix together. Her Aura was multiplied by several times when she tried using magical energy."( Kanae )
"How could her body handle the backlash of that attack?" ( Kie )
"Her magic I suppose. She seems to be wincing but that's it. Ryuu can you tell us her magic?"( Shinobu )
"I'm not sure if it should be called magic but her ability seems to grow stronger the more she pushes herself. Perhaps even unlock untap power?"
Ryuu was utterly speechless but shook his head since it only meant that she was able to grow much quicker and defend herself.
Her abilities are like a Saiyan and made him wonder if she is able to take form like super Saiyan or something similar that doesn't multiply but gives her additional ability like an evolution.
Meanwhile, Justine turns to Ryuu and uses her power to amplify her speed, appearing before him in blinding speed but far from [ Shundō ].
"Damn, is this how it feels to have magic?"
"Your magic seems similar to shounen protagonists who keep stronger the more they face challenges and unlock abilities based on the situation."
"Oh so I have plot armor? Nice!"
"Don't get your hopes up! Even if you can doesn't mean you should!! It would give me a heart attack if I see you all beat up!!"
Ryuu exclaimed, surprising her before blushing when she realized his words. He couldn't just see her laying on the ground wincing in pain which is why he gave her a strict warning.
They may be strong but not yet unkillable therefore needed to be careful when in fight. Knowing her then she would likely fight head first in battle without thinking.
"Yeah yeah, I won't! I'm not an idiot or a Masochist."
"Should we test it~?"( Kanae )
"Don't corrupt her, Nee-san." ( Shinobu )
"Anyway, that was sooo amazing, Justine-san!!" ( Mitsuri )
"Yeah your punch is like boom!"
Nezuko imitated her punch while Mitsuri went closer to hold Justine's hands to congratulate her. She smiled, enjoying their compliment.
"Now that you've gained magic, should we start training?"
Afterwards, Ryuu helped her train for the next week's teaching [ Total Concentration Breathing ] that she could easily learn and used her arnis lesson using a style reminiscent of Sound breathing.
She didn't name her fighting style and only Called it Arnis for simplicity. It appears her magic lets her learn opponents movements when she is defeated by it.
Of course there's a limit and time until she is able to grow more powerful. Justine still needs to learn and adapt rather than instantly mastering it. She's just much quicker than normal.
"That's just a cheat!"( Nezuko )
"Well I won fair and square!" ( Justine )
"Sorry but….Return!" ( Mitsuri )
The week passed, Ryuu was currently watching them play and Uno decided to stop her training and do it next week in real time. It would be bad if they don't experience the outside world from time to time.
They were playing some game of Uno card that was easy enough for them to understand. However, the reason for their unusual enthusiasm is rather obvious.
"Oh fuck!"( Justine )
"Young lady please tone down the excessive profanity."( Kie )
"Ah sorry about that…well here."
"I seem to have won then…Uno." (Kanae )
"Fufuuf too bad nee-san but…pull four more cards! Uno!"
Shinobu sadistically smiles looking at them giggling as they've won the bet of who would go with Ryuu to look at the restaurant and essentially have a date.
"Now how about we head now?"
She moves to Ryuu warily, smiling looking at the rest of her lover who felt utterly defeated by her since their battle went far too quickly.
Shinobu was hugging her breast more flirtatious than normal, making the girls slightly annoyed.
"Oh come on I was soooo close!! Ryuu!!!"
"There there…"
Justine went to Ryuu for a hug giving a smug smile to Shinobu who flinched while she received a pat on the head. She may have won the battle but not the war. Ryuu could only wryly smile during all of their bickering.
"Hey me too!!"( Nezuko )
"Don't forget about me!"( Mitsuri )
"...I wonder if I should join in considering my age?"( Kie )
"You shouldn't feel embarrassed! We were the only ones here."( Kanae )
Ryuu only had two hands on them and even if he could create extra limbs refuse to since it's just cheating. In the end, he ends up pampering everyone for several minutes before heading out.
He went out making sure to make the time similar to real time as Ryuu and Shinobu headed their way to the restaurant that was bought by his perfect clone for him.
The influence of the one he took was enough to the job time and of course the clone made sure every trace of himself was unseen making sure no one would trace him.
"Is this it? The space seems to be enough for several people to dine and there's even a second floor. What meal do you plan on selling?"
"Some ramen and some Japanese cuisine but primarily the latter."
"Why ramen though?"
"It's my second favorite meal since it's light and can keep eating. Anyway, how about we go inside and see how the place is. Maybe try cooking inside."
She nodded before the two headed inside and was surprised how welcoming the place was. If Shinobu had been to a Cafe then it would have the same atmosphere.
Exploring the place, Ryuu nodded that it was enough to run the place and create clones to start designing the menu while another with their logo.
"What name do you think I should name it?"
Ryuu and Shinobu sat close to the window walls that people were passing by and saw them cuddling. He was making their dish using the clone in the kitchen in a different form.
He is literally able to work as one if he needed to but most of his doesn't have all his skill except for his perfect clone. It costs too much when making perfect clones. Regardless, they are enough to do the basic job.
"You should have brought Justine-san since I'm not creative in making names."
"Well I am just asking for an opinion but I was planning on naming it Fifth Dragon. Based on my name."
"That sounds good."
In the end, they decided to name it the "Fifth Dragon" and their meal soon arrived before digging in. Once they finished their meal they went around to explore the city.
After a few days in real time, Ryuu is currently on top of a building wearing a trench coat and a hollow Ichigo mask.
"It's been a few days but it's show time."
Ryuu used his [ Byakugan ] to see inside, finding two beings with different Aura than human and another with pure utter darkness inside them.
He was surprised to see the [ Aura ] but ignored it and used [ Second form - Instant-Death step ] to instantly vanish and turned his body in pure biomass to easily seep through the doors.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen."
