Chapter 381: I Have No Idea What I'm Doing

Laney did seem happy and relaxed after the movie ended, which was exactly what Richard had hoped for. She immediately launched into an in-depth movie analysis before cutting herself off and blushing. 

"Sorry, you don't want to hear about that, do you?"

He may not like movies but they were important to her so he didn't mind. "By all means, keep going. I may not understand what you like but it's still important to you so I want to hear it."

Laney beamed at him and laced their fingers together before continuing. No, he may not like movies, but he couldn't help but feel that the past two and a half hours weren't wasted solely because of how happy she was.
