Chapter 11: Roronoa Zoro
"Ain, what are you thinking about?", someone whispered into her ear, and she was brought back into the present.
Ain took one of her daggers and attacked the guy who was sneaking behind her back.
"What a nice greeting after two years. Do you think you can hit me?"
The man who was sneaking behind Ain was Luffy. He sensed that she was on this island even before he even arrived. Luffy's Observation Haki had a ridiculous range, sometimes he could spy on islands that were several miles away from him.
Ain took her second dagger and attacked Luffy with fierce moves. Luffy dodged every attack without effort, only evading without attacking back.
After he evaded a fierce attack that was directed to his face, he looked into Ain's eyes, there was only a little distance between their faces. Ain had a light blush on her cheeks.
"Ain", he chuckled with a small smile on his face. "When someone attacks me, then he is in danger. Do you know why?"
Ain answered with another swing of her dagger but before she could make her next move, the ground under her feet started to tremble and a huge hole appeared.
She fell into the hole and looked up into the sky, where she saw a little dragon with a blue fireball in his mouth, that was directed in her direction.
The little Dragon was of course Gible. He used his move Dig, traveled to his master and attacked Ain from the underground.
"Stop it, buddy. It's Ain."
Gible stopped his Dragon Rage attack and Ain sighed out. Only Luffy had a little dragon as a watchdog. Gible sensed when his master was in danger and would go on a rampage, how could she forget that. Gible wouldn't differentiate between friend and foe if someone attacked his master, then he was ready to attack.
Luffy looked into the hole where Ain was laying. He stretched his hand out to her and she grabbed it. After Luffy helped her out of the hole, he grabbed her by her waist and dragged her into the bar.
"Let me go, Luffy. I don't like parties."
"Come on, I'm so happy that you are here. I never thought you would leave that beloved sensei of yours!"
Luffy walked into the bar and pointed at Ain.
"GUYS! This girl is another crewmate! Her name is Ain."
Everyone looked towards Ain and laughed.
"HELLO AIN!", they exclaimed in unison and some village girls dragged her to the bar. After that, she was surrounded by villagers. She clearly looked embarrassed.
In some corners, Nami looked towards her new crewmate and sighed.
"So another beauty?", she mumbled.
"Hina is surprised. Hina never thought she would truly come."
"Is this Luffy's girlfriend?", Makino giggled with a smile on her face.
"No!", Nami and Hina answered at the same time. Then the two girls were staring at each other.
"How do you know that she is not Luffy's girlfriend?", Hina asked with a frown.
"It's… Just intuition."
The party lasted the whole night and the next day was finally the time for Luffy to start his journey.
Hina, Ain, Nami, and Luffy stood in front of the sea, the villagers behind their backs.
"So, do you have a ship, Luffy?", Ain asked. "I brought a ship from the headquarter if we need one."
Nami's eyes started to shine. Finally a ship!
"Hina has one, too."
Nami couldn't be happier. She never wanted to ride that huge monster again.
"A ship?", Luffy asked, scratching his head. "Well, I have one, but it's in the New World."
Ain and Hina were looking at Luffy with confusion, while Nami didn't even know what the New Word was.
"You went to the New World in the last two years?"
Luffy laughed embarrassed.
"Well, to tell you the truth… It was an accident."
"WHAT?"
"After our year together, I wanted to search for a place to train. So I thought the sea kings in the Calm Belt were a good place to train my buddy Magikarp."
"You trained that useless fish in the CALM BELT?", Ain snapped while hitting the back of his head.
"It's a long story. It was gramps fault, he dropped me somewhere in the New World."
Both of them sighed.
"So, are we going with Hina's or my ship?"
"Nah. Ships are too slow. We wait until we arrive at Water 7 or we take my ship from the New World when we arrive there."
They looked at him like he was an idiot.
"How do you want to arrive at the Grand Line without a ship?"
"You shouldn't have asked", Nami sobbed with a depressed expression.
Luffy took out a Pokeball out of his pocket and summoned Gyarados.
Hina and Ain nearly fainted out of fear.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS HUGE DRAGON?", they both bellowed, fear in their eyes.
"How could you forget him? You are good friends. This is my old buddy Magikarp, he evolved."
"HOW CAN A USELESS FISH EVOLVE INTO THIS MONSTROSITY?"
Hina and Ain were losing their minds. Nami could understand their sorrow.
Luffy jumped to Gyarados, landing on top of his head.
"Come on up, girls. It's faster to fly with Gyarados than to sail on the sea. We will get a ship later, jump on."
After that Gyarados began to fly to their next destination. While Nami was screaming because of the speed of the Chinese dragon, Ain and Hina were laughing because they found it exciting.
The newly formed group was sitting in a line on Gyarados back. Luffy and Gible were in front, behind him sat Ain who was holding his waist. Nami was behind Ain, and the last one was Hina.
"How much did you girls improve in your Haki?"
"Observation arrived at a new level", Ain answered.
"Hina focused on Armament Haki. Hina was successful"
"What the hell is Haki?"
Ain and Hina were looking at Nami with a shocked expression.
"She doesn't know about Haki?"
"I didn't teach her, but I will in the near future."
Ain and Hina sighed. They looked towards Nami with pity.
"Why are you looking towards me that way?"
"Oh, poor girl", Ain sighed. "You have to go through hell. You will have nightmares about an egg, so much I can tell you."
Nami began to sweat. Was it a good idea to join Luffy? She regretted her decision a little bit.
"Oh, here is our first stop. Wait for me a second, I have to rescue a little coward and present him to gramps."
The three girls looked at Luffy who jumped on a pirate ship. After a minute they saw a huge fat girl flying through the sky while cursing Luffy. The girls started to sweat.
"Did he just punch this fat pirate to the North Blue?"
Luffy returned with a little boy with glasses on his head. The boy was screaming out of fear. They started to fly to their next destination.
Now they were five people sitting on a Gyarados. Coby was behind Hina, still crying out of fear. He thought that Alvida was scary, but his kidnapper was on a new level.
"So you want to be a marine, coward?", Hina sneered. She didn't see potential in this boy who was crying all the time.
"Coby will be a good marine, don't worry", Luffy said while looking towards the next island that was approaching.
"On this island, we will find our next crew member. A guy who fights with three swords, he has the potential to beat Mihawk, but now he is still a little insect."
"Mihawk?", Ain and Hina were surprised. Both of them knew how strong this guy truly was.
"Yep, no kidding. You have to be careful, Ain. At the moment you are leagues ahead of him, but in two years he could kick your ass. So train hard, I don't want to see you left behind by my new swordsman."
Ain gritted her teeth. Luffy would always say casual remarks that didn't sound plausible at first. She learned in the year she spent together with him that most of the time, those casual remarks would turn into reality. She had to train harder.
They landed in the middle of the marine base, directly in front of Zoro who looked really miserable.
Zoro had his eyes wide open because he saw a huge Chinese dragon appear, which then vanished into his Pokeball.
"Is this a hallucination? I'm seeing things now…"
Hina und Ain looked towards Zoro with a frown. Was he a criminal?
Nami was shaking with fear.
"It's the pirate hunter… He's a monster! The strongest bounty hunter in East Blue!"
"Why is a bounty hunter captured by the marines?"
"I will fetch the swords for this guy. I will be right back."
Zoro was still thinking that all of that was an illusion.
Luffy returned with three swords in his hands and looked at the chaos that transpired in the Marine base while he was gone. Hina and Ain had an angry expression on their faces. Morgan was beaten up on the ground
"Well, what a mess. Do you girls want to become pirates now?", he teased with a smile.
"Damn, I never saw such a cruel and evil marine!", Ain shouted. She was annoyed.
"Hina called the headquarter. This Morgan guy will go to Impel Down!"
"Did you never see a corrupt marine? They are everywhere here in East Blue. The marines responsible for my hometown were bribed by pirates and those pirates terrorized my island for years.", Nami sneered.
The former marines looked down to the ground, embarrassed.

Do you want to recruit Chopper, Brook and Franky?
I like Brook, but the other two I don't mind if they join or not. I have many other characters I want to join, and if there are too many it will be difficult to develop all of them. I have all of my Pokemon, too. They also have to fight.
Tell me your opinion about those three. Recruit or not?
