With a cheerful laugh, Luffy grabbed a banana from the bucket nearby and offered it to Bai Ye, thinking that his new crewmate might be hungry.
However, Bai Ye took a step back and declined Luffy's offer politely. He had something important to attend to.

Meanwhile, back in the room, Luffy, Koby, and the pirates watched as Bai Ye sat in meditation. They respected his request for privacy and waited quietly.
However, their peace was soon interrupted by approaching footsteps and voices from outside the room.
"I swear, Miss Alvida, I saw Koby bringing an outsider onto the ship! And just now, that outsider knocked me out!"
"That's right, Miss Alvida! Those two outsiders are young but incredibly strong. They must be the bounty hunters Koby hired to deal with you."
"Miss Alvida, they're here!"
The pirates on the ship had opened the door to the room, revealing the same group of pirates who had been knocked out by Luffy and Bai Ye earlier. The turban-wearing pirate was the most eager to report.
Alvida, the pirate with a five-million-Beli bounty, followed closely behind them. She had a distinctive appearance, resembling a ball, and she entered the room with a sense of authority.
Seeing Luffy, Bai Ye, and Koby inside, she immediately assessed the situation. She noticed that they were not the three-sword bounty hunter she had expected.
Alvida's gaze then fell upon Bai Ye, who had a handsome face. She couldn't help but feel a flutter of attraction and admiration. In her eyes, Bai Ye was worthy of being with the most beautiful woman on the sea.
"Darling... Alvida..." Koby stammered nervously as Alvida entered the room. He was shaken by her presence.
Alvida, on the other hand, was enjoying the attention. She liked being admired and adored by those around her.
Noticing Koby's reaction, Luffy chimed in with an innocent question, "Who's this rude lady?"
It wasn't a deliberate provocation, but Luffy's innocent inquiry left Koby and the pirates dumbfounded. They couldn't believe he had dared to speak to Alvida in such a manner.
"Brat..." Alvida clenched her teeth and glared at Luffy, her patience wearing thin.
Before she could react, Luffy swiftly moved back and pulled Bai Ye and Koby out of the room and onto the deck. He didn't want to fight Alvida in the cramped space of the room, as he had remembered Bai Ye's advice about finding a larger area.
On the deck, Koby finally found his voice and began shouting at Alvida, "You're not the most beautiful woman! You're just an ugly, fat, and awful lady!"
Luffy, who had been looking on, nodded in approval at Koby's words. He found it amusing.
Alvida, her temper flaring, responded with a threatening tone, "You all want to die, don't you?"
She approached them menacingly, and her mace came crashing down toward Luffy with incredible force.
At this critical moment, something strange began to happen with Bai Ye. A dazzling golden light emanated from his body, and a distant voice could be heard:
"...Guardians of the Three Realms, welcome the Five Emperors. All gods, pay tribute and harness the power of thunder. Specters and demons, tremble and perish. Inside and outside the Three Realms, only Dao remains..."
In an instant, a brilliant golden light surrounded Bai Ye, causing Koby and everyone present to be momentarily blinded. As the golden light dissipated, they saw that Bai Ye had positioned himself between Alvida and Luffy.
Her mace hadn't hit Luffy, and the technique Bai Ye had activated remained incomplete.
Before Alvida could react, her mace struck the golden barrier created by Bai Ye's newfound abilities.
