"Luffy I have been watching you in the forest.I saw you kill that snake your elemental skills are improving."said garp with a smile on his face.
"You we're watching all this time I could have died!"shouted Luffy in frustration.
"You could not possible have died if so how could you have been my grandson."said garp sarcastically
"I'm going to kill you!"shouted Luffy in anger."As if you could even scratch me my weak little grandson."teased garp.
hearing this Luffy got angry and rushed towards garp with a fire infused punch while making himself faster with the wind element. Garp dead a bored look on his face as he grab Luffy's hand throwing him into a near by river.
Luffy spat water out of his mouth while coming out of the river,but he still did not give up attacking garp with earth spikes. Garp swung his fist lazily destroying the earth spikes.
Luffy gritted his teeth and sent a fire and wind ball towards garp which combined into a huge fire ball garp was a little shocked, but coated his fist in haki and knocked away Luffy's fire ball.
Luffy was even angrier using the water from the river to form a water dragon about 10 meters tall and sent it towards garp. Garp doged because he didn't want to get his clothes wet
The water dragon crashed into some trees.Flooding the whole area and uprooting some trees
"That can't be all you got don't tell me your training was for nothing."taunted garp to the panting Luffy.
Luffy got angry once more and lightning surrounded him as is eyes glowed yellow, "take this old man!"shouted Luffy.
A giant yellow lightning tiger about 15 meters tall charged towards garp.Garp had a shocked look on his face"Luffy awoke another element."he said in disbelief.
Garp regained his composure as he coated his fist in arament haki and punched towards the tiger made of lighting.
When garp's fist and the lightning tiger met a huge explosion sounded leaving a deep crater. when the smoke cleared it revieled garp who was completetely unscathed it also revieled Luffy who was laying in the crater on unconscious.
" whether you are a marine or a pirate you are gonna change the world for the better one day."said garp to the unconscious Luffy who he was carrying out of the forrest.
When Luffy woke up he was covered in bandages as he could barely move."
what happened how long was I out!"shouted luffy.He then held his head as he felt that he had a headache
"How many times do I have to tell you stop picking fight with your grandpa" said a woman as she looked at luffy.
The woman had green hair and black eyes her hair was tied in a bun held up by a bandana she looked to be in her early twenties and was quite pretty.
She had a stern look on her face as Luffy gulped when he saw her."But makino he was the one who started it." Said luffy.
The woman who's name was revieled to be makino sighed trying not to be bothered by garp's and Luffy's antic's.
Luffy got up and sat on a stool as he rubbed the back of his head."So has gramps left for marine hq yet?"asked Luffy.
"yes he said he needed to go back to the marine base to finish his work."replied makino.
"figures he had forgotten it again."said Luffy."He left you this for your birthday."said makino as she pointed to the something on the table.
The item was a katana sheethed in a black scabbard. Luffy unsheath the blade it was long about three feet tall.
It had a golden handle with the blade being shiny and crispt it exuded tremendous power Luffy could just feel it was special.
Makino came over watching Luffy who was in awe of the blade."he left you this note along with the sword." Said makino handing Luffy the note
Luffy read the note it stated Luffy here is one of the 12 great blades it will reviel it's name and power to you once you are deemed worthy by completing it's test also happy sixth birthday.
Luffy was shocked where did his grandpa find a great blade. Afterall not even six of them were revieled in the original and now he possessed one it was too unreal.
He got over his shock and looked back down at the blade." One day I'll prove I'm worthy to be your wielder."said Luffy to his new sword as he grinned.
He then rushex out the door ignoring the pain his body felt.
