Chapter 6: Spend A Life Time With You
"I'll just go to the back of the line, I don't really need wood either, I'll just buy some to show my support for Nature's Family" as Bah of spoke with a smiling goofy face, it seems that his body moved faster than his mouth, and Bah had already quickly arrived to the back of the line with his crew trailing behind him.
On the fifth floor of the building, a blonde haired man with a top hat removed his gaze. If Bah the bomber saw who this was, he might have peed his pants immediately.
Nolan, also known as Nature's Collector by the Navy, but the pirates and underworld would rather call him the Blood Collector. He is the second in command of the Nature's Family group and the right hand man of the Wrath of Nature Ephon. One of the most fearsome existences in the sea, known for his handsome appearance and cruel means.
"I told Ephon to place the company building outside of the lawless zone, but sigh… I guess he's right, although they'll be people who don't know the difference between a tiger and a cat from time to time, as long as order is maintained to a certain level, we'll be able to have customers that belong both to the light and the dark who can only stay in the lawless zone and the port is important too"
Nolan couldn't help sighing, he knows about those vice captains who have to be the brains of their pirate group because they have brainless captains, but he rarely has to experience the feeling of being the reason for logic with his crew.
"Whatever, just go along with the plan, keep looking for men of science, we can never have too many of those, and maintain communication with the other five company buildings" Nolan said softly to the man behind him before returning to his room.

Six months later
Garden of Eve
Two figures, male and female, were sitting in front of a bonfire in front of a wooden house eating what looked like roast meat, they were Diana and Ephon.
After Diana explained her story to Ephon, Ephon quickly realized the reason why Diana's adoptive mother abandoned her, or rather tried to kill her, is a similar story to one of the future characters, Nico Robin.
According to her, she has an ability that made 'that woman' and the people in the village afraid of her, but she knew they were simply scared because her abilities meant that their secrets they thought were secrets might be exposed without them knowing it, and its with this ability that she found out that her father left money to her adoptive mother.
Although she refused to tell Ephon what the ability was, he wasn't too bothered. He was more surprised that she wasn't some runaway princess like he had first thought, her whole being simply screamed spoiled nobility brat when they first met but after quickly putting aside her many weirdness he continued his search for the aroma flower, and Diana surprisingly offered to help.
During their time together, Ephon noticed a weirdness about Diana, when he looked away from her or wasn't paying attention, he picked up with his observation haki that she seemed to be communicating with the animals on the island, whether they be flying, water or land animals, even insects.
After she was exposed, Diana thought Ephon would treat her differently, but after seeing Ephon charming smile asking about her ability and talking about how cool it was, she realized she was thinking too much.
After they got over that little episode, Diana and Ephon got closer and became friends. Diana used her ability to the limit, asking all the animals on the island they came across to assist in searching for the plant. Ephon also learned more about Diana's ability, he first came to the conclusion that it was not a devil fruit ability which confused him, but he's seen weirder things, He also learned that she can't force the animals to follow her commands against their will, they can choose whether to follow her commands or not, some even refused, until they were told that they will be rewarded with food.
And one month ago they found it, it was a black flower with only five petals, but there was a problem, Ephon could only create or rather replicate one aroma flower before his energy was bottomed out, it was so bad that if Diana was an enemy, although she wouldn't be able to defeat or kill him, if she manage to injured him, he would only be able to heal after he regained his energy and stamina which he didn't have a lot of at that moment, but regaining his stamina took only a couple of minutes.
But that experience gave him a wake up call, the thing is, he tried to make more than just one aroma flower at one time but when the flowers started to appear, he felt his energy draining at rapid speed so he stopped quickly. After accepting the fact that he can't replicate the aroma flower at the speed he thought he could, Ephon took a step back and thought about his and Nolan's guesses concerning the aroma flower.
They had guessed that one flower might be enough for two people, any more than that would weaken the effects of the flower. After realizing this he didn't stress too much and decided to leave, that was a month ago, and he's still here, the reason being the beauty in front of him whose legs were sprawled out wide using her 6 feet long trident as a fork to eat a roasted meaty leg as though a man isn't in front of her.
"Hmm, hmmm this.. tastes so good, did I tell you before, that you're a really good cook, I don't think I'll ever get tired of this" whilst eating the last piece of meat, Diana couldn't help but mention to Ephon with a proactive smile.
"I know what you're trying to do, No! I won't stay on this island just to cook for you, I already stayed an extra month with you, and that's to thank you for helping find the flower so fast" Ephon ignored Diana's antics, it seems that he was used to it by now.
"Sigh, I really miss your princess phase, speaking incoherently in third person, hiding your fear with arrogance, sigh.. they grow up so fast" Ephon couldn't help but let out a sigh thinking about how quickly humans change.
"Shut up! This lady speaks however she wants to speak, and I.. I was not hiding my fear with arrogance, this lady is never afraid" Diana really wanted to scold this guy and his weird ability to feel others emotions, she had even forgotten about her own ability.
"Alright, I'm serious though, I'm leaving tomorrow, so do you wanna come or not? I already told you I don't have big ambitions to rule the world or anything like that, I just wanna live a nice simple life with my family, and I'm ready to fight against the world for that!"
Listening to Ephon's words, Diana was not surprised at all, this guy had tried to invite her to join his family multiple times. It's not that she's against it, It's just that she heard about Ephon's other family members and how he treated them, like Nolan, Lola, Agnes and Apollo.
She realized over the past six months she actually wanted to be around this guy every chance she got, she even asked him to build a house for them to live in. And when he asked her to join his family she was tangled, on one hand she wanted to join so that she can be around him to satisfy this new emotion she's having, but on the other hand she doesn't know why, but she doesn't want him to treat her like Lola who he considers a sister. But while her emotions had her tangled she forgot that Ephon can feel her emotions.
Ephon right now had a meaningful smile on his face after sensing Diana's emotion, it would be a lie to say he didn't like her, remember, what he had be searching for this entire time, was a woman who truly loved him and was willing to start a family with him, and when he first saw Diana even though he recognized her as a beauty, he didn't even have time to to observe her before she attacked him.
It was only during the time he spent with her over the past months that he realized his feelings for her, and he knew this feeling well, unlike Diana. He wanted to be with her, but he didn't even know her properly so he wanted to first bring her back to join Nature' Family and then try to develop their feelings with time.
"Diana, I feel the same way too, remember my observation haki can sense emotions, but on a serious note, you are very beautiful, I never shied away from telling you that fact, your black hair, big black eyes, smooth brown skin, long slender legs, your b… hmm hm, your perfect medium size breast, your wild personality, everything about you I'm attracted to you.
I like to be with you, in your presence, staring at your beautiful eyes, this emotion is love, and I know you're also feeling something similar towards me, so I want you to come back with me and create a family together, we can take things slow, we don't have to be fast, we'll get to know each other more whether it be ten years, twenty years, hell, even one hundred years, so tell me, do you wanna spend the rest of your life with me?"
After rambling on and not hearing a reaction, Ephon who didn't even realize that tears were falling from Diana's eyes, finally realized that she had teary eyes.
"You barbarian, the lady doesn't like when you read her emotions hmph, no more of that starting from today, and this lady also like to be in your presence, I like the feeling, like I'll be protected, and I also realize that I wanted to be with you, I never thought of making babies, that woman said it hurts, but I.. I don't mind spending the rest of my life with you because I think I love you too" while wiping away her tears Diana suddenly realized that Ephon's face was right in front of hers.
Her cheeks turned red immediately, she wanted to push Ephon away, but her body refused to follow her instructions, instead her face moved closer to Ephon's, and before she knew it, their lips touched.
